The food is excellent. We ordered pickup and customer service was not good. I had to ask for drinks and the dark-haired girl seemed annoyed that I didn't leave without the drinks we paid for. She put the cups down aggressively and grunted. I'll give it a few more months before we try again with online pickup order from this location.
The app usually works, however one incident made me dislike the apps customer support all together. I spent $30 dollars and 1200 points on an order I didn't receive and the only offer I was given was $20 for another in app purchase, no points back into my account.....no refund. Luckily I was able to dispute the purchase with my bank 🤷♀️ but I'm still missing all my points and I can't even get them back bc the issue has been "resolved" and closed.
Overall the app isn't too bad, however, I'm not a fan. My biggest issue I have with this app is if I try to use a promotional offer for wings, it glitches and limits the wing sauce choices. So if you want a certain sauce, you have to pay full price despite the sauces not costing extra. Second, what's the point of ordering ahead for pick-up if I still have to wait in the 10-25 more minutes for pick-up. Every time I've ordered ahead, my food has never been ready or the order was wrong.
I used the app all the time. I like when I go there and my order is ready and waiting on me. Well this time I mistakenly order at the wrong location and unfortunately I could not cancel the payment through the app. Customer service did offer me a $20.00 credit for the mishap in which I was so thankful for! Now all I have to do is figure out how to redeem it. PLEASE help me because what they told me to do is not working and apparently their employees are not trained on the app either!
Firstly, the app is not that easy to navigate. Customer Service is hard to navigate as well. I'm an old-school type of person. To solve an issue I prefer to actually speak to a human, not a computer generated object. I don't want a coupon for a missing item, I would like my money back. Customer Service reached out to me with a coupon but when I mentioned a refund the responses went unanswered. Someone PLEASE HELP
Customer service is non-existent. Robot into no call. I lost $23 ordering to a location nowhere near me by mistake. Caught it immediately, but no way to act. Stored close? No luck. No refunds. You can't edit pieces for deal orders. I like to order just two spicy breasts whenever I go because it's all I need and what I like. You can't do that on the app. I do surveys, too. Those give a two-piece and biscuit for a purchase. That's two breasts with an upcharge. It's still convenient, tho.
Too many pop-ups! I want to give this app a 5 star rating, but I'm getting promotional ads like 3-4x some days. That's abusing the notifications. Notify with a purpose. Once a week, fine. Multiple per day? Chill out. Also no way to only enable non promotional ads in app. That's bad practice. I love Popeyes, and the app is great, but the marketing team ruins it.
A poor review to hopefully improve user experience. I love Popeyes chicken, and buy it too often. The app experience is really annoying. The app does not automatically search for the nearest store, only the last location purchased. Then, changing the location mid order will make you start all over and preferences will default. I just want my food. I don't want to spend hours making sure my order isn't messed up. I was also given a location in a military base that I could not pick up but...
Not a good app. First problem is I can't use the app in restaurant like you can with other fast food establishments. Another buggy thing was trying to complete an order for free food using rewards points. When I get to the checkout portion it showed a balance due and I would have to provide a form of payment before completing my order. So I end up paying full price and I keep accumulating points that I can't ever seem to use. Pretty useless.
Very buggy. Even when all selections are made, it claims some are incomplete. There are only so many options. I even opened nutritional facts to see if they hid some in there that I missed. I can pick a 3 piece chicken combo but a 2 piece chicken is unavailable at my store?? Ended up not ordering anything because then the 3 piece combo started telling me I was missing selections too. Ridiculous app.
Dont use this app. there is no way to cancel an order once its placed. I lost $30 so far with this app (2 orders that I couldn't cancel). I will NEVER use this app again... which means I'll probably never go to popeyes again seeing that the only reason I went there was because of the deals on the app. no app, no deals, equals no visits.
This app is technologically inferior because it benefits this company by receiving money from unsuspecting consumers who have no reasonable access to discuss with another human. From the app NOT indicating items or locations not available for a transaction, to additional items mysteriously place in one's cart during a delay completing a purchase, "buyer beware". You can easily be defrauded in this new world of a lack of accountability. KFC has excellent prices for its far-superior products.
everybody wants an app to order their overpriced food. so I installed this one so I can order food because the line is ridiculously too long, people ordering a chicken tender or two. The app doesn't give you deals. do not download this waste of time. doesn't work when standing in the store. it tells you they don't have product but I'm standing here looking at it. The only fast food app I've ever found that works is McDonald's . Plus they have a better chicken sandwich.
This is the worst app for a fast food restaurant. The app defualted to pick up after I put my address in for delivery. Charged me $28 and change for pick up. I had to reorder the same thing, was the. charged $44 and change and couldn't cancel the first order. I also couldn't reach the restaurant on the phone to cancel either. I tried to contact support, which is automated, filed a ticket and couldn't choose that order again for another ticket because I haven't heard anything from them. Awful!
App has too many glitches. Ordered two separate times didn't get a receipt one time and got a receipt without a transaction code so I missed out on point twice. The kiosk in some restaurant have error message when trying to enter coupons and the staff do not want to help. To many times the transaction code is not printed on the receipt in order to claim reward points.
Actual garbage app. Doesn't work with numerous issues. Never gets updated. Delivery doesnt let you choose the restaurantand doesnt even show which one it is. "Price order failure" doesn't even let you place an order. Customer support LITERALLY doesn't work and puts you in an infinite loop without the option to speak to an actual human, have scammed me out of 70$ because my order was entirely wrong and they won't do anything about it. Delivery prices are upcharged. Wow, this sucks hard.
I'm going to be honest, full price popeye's is pricey. So I used the offers in the app. There would be roughly half designated pick up only and the other half was delivery only. Now EVERY SINGLE of the seven offers in that tab are for delivery only. Now a single one is for pick up. I tried to another location about 20 minutes away and had the same thing. Without the special offers, these app is useless to me.
so disappointed the app doesn't work. I order from Popeyes at least once a week due to travel. I would absolutely love to build loyalty by placing my orders through the app, but unfortunately the app is garbage. it never loads, and if It does successfully load, I am unable to ever pay for my order. Once I get to the checkout page, none of the buttons to let me pay ever works. disappointing but expected from a brand like this
The app itself is user friendly but not happy from a technical standpoint. Do not add money to the gift card payment option, or you'll be out that money. I have $40 loaded that I'm unable to use. I've reached out to support multiple times to no avail. Months later I continue to receive the error message. There seems to be no worry about me being out $40.
This app and the website is absolutely garbage. I sat in the lot for more than ten minutes fighting with the app to redeem an offer, but it kept crashing. If the app wasn't crashing, then it was telling me to pick a date and time even though both were selected. This was extremely frustrating. I was really craving popeyes and I only with coupons or when the app decides to work because it's pricey without it. I have no expectations of this issue being resolved. I am extremely disappointed.
