MISTPLAY: Play to Earn Money

The app does cash out and has plenty of games. Unfortunately even if you launch the game through the Mistplay app, it constantly loses track of your progress. if you tap to fix it, you are rerouted away from the game and lose all your progress. So you have to either play and finish a level without saved progress or fix the issue immediately and reload the game. lose lose. additionally, over half of the games don't work. So you are forced to play the games they are promoting.

Where did my games go? The icon of the far left that had a list of the games I play is gone. This was an awesome app before the downgrade in functionality. *Edit* Support contacted me and fixed the problem. I really do love this app as I play a lot of games. So far I've gotten a $50 Amazon card, $15 & $50 Google play cards and a $10 PlayStation card. You can have fun and get a return!

Since the most recent update, I keep getting the message that Mistplay is unable to track my time. This happens maybe every 10 minutes, even if I haven't done anything on my phone. I have plenty of memory to run this app with no problem, sometimes it even happens if my screen just turns off or an ad plays. It's very frustrating, to say the least. If the devs would fix this issue, it would be great! I've earned quite a bit through the app, not enough to pay bills, but it at least covers my gas.

Great app for the most part. But I can only give 3 stars because the intrusive ads in many of the games interrupt the ability for the app to track your time, meaning you can't be rewarded. Also, the daily tasks sometimes require purchases, or are for games you uninstalled (usually for the non-reward reason). Would be great if the app allowed you to set favorite games which tasks "favored," or report games that break your ability to earn.

Scam!!!! Had enough points to earn a $25 gift card and then all of a sudden they made me log out and then log back in so they could knock it down to a $10 gift card. Such bs when they can just change the terms whenever they feel like it without warning. Wasted time and God knows how much of your info they're stealing while giving you literal pennies for your time. Use any other competitor!!! Told me to contact support. I did and they did nothing, even with screenshot proof.

Fun and casual, this app rewards you for the playing the type of games you like to play. If you really play for 2 hours a day, you can "earn gift cards" faster, but I have only earned a little more than $5 after a week of casual playing. I feel like this is way more trustworthy than connecting an app to your PayPal, and I like the variety of games.

Suddenly it has stopped working on wifi and the support team was no help when I was trying to get the app to work previously when i couldnt access it at all. App is fine but support is lacking. It also made me lose my streak. Every update it seems to keep doing this. Its still like this as of 8/15/25. I tried to get help from support but they claimed my problem was fixed when it wasnt.

I was at player level 48. I am a very active player. I play almost every day. I went to play yesterday and it said my session timed out and I needed to log out and log back in. I thought maybe it was a glitch. I closed the app and tried again. It still gave me an error code. So I closed the app and I waited until just now to try again. Still and error code. So, I logged out and went to log back in and it says my email is no longer valid. What the heck?

Used to be great. I used to earn a $20 dollar gift card every month. Now? I've been at it for months and the play rate is tanked. They just updated everything. Took away boosted games, reduced earning rates😂, and gave us ridiculous 'team quests' where the pay out is 15 units. that's not even like 3 cents. I used to recommend this to everyone, now I just tell everyone to save their time. it's not worth it.

This is my 3rd review since 2019...and my rating is going down. Mistplay, what're u doing? I've loved this app for years, but it's been changing and I don't like it. First, it made it more expensive to check out with ur units. When I noticed, I was annoyed but accepted that with the economy the way it is that it was in inevitable, but now THEY'RE LOCKING CARDS BASED ON HOW MUCH MANY U SPEND. I don't spend a lot in games so I am only a "bronze level" so they've locked me out of my usual choices.

I've been using this app for a while now. Game selection is huge, which is awesome; there is something for every gamer. Never had an issue with downloads or selecting rewards, and rewards come in a timely manner. I only just recently experienced an issue and the support center was expedient is replying with solutions which actually solved the issue. PLUS, and this was not necessary, they gifted some units for my troubles. One star missing only because there's always room for improvement.

The first $10 was pretty easy to get because you get a lot of points in the beginning. The next payout took way longer, because to get points, you either have to spend money, or download new games all the time. Lately, I don't know if maybe there was some kind of update, I've had other issues. I log into the app at least once a day, but the past few weeks, it says I can save my log in streak by using two gems. Also, I have to search for games, my games are no longer on the main page.

Mistplay will allow you to legit get gift cards. I've been able to get several gift cards. It's good overall. I have few issues with it. First, you have to keep installing new games to get units faster. If you decide that you like a game and keep playing it, there's a point where you can no longer get units from it. The other main issue I have is that I used to buy Amazon gift cards with units until they increased the unit cost. So I get other gift cards instead.

I've used Mistplay consistently for almost 2 straight years. I've cashed out hundreds of dollars in that time. However, recent updates have ruined it for me- I no longer get any games with a multiplier higher than 1.5x, the cost for cashing out gift cards has risen, and now they've locked the $10 and $15 Google Play giftcards behind Silver Status (which requires paying real money). I'm severely disappointed at how greedy this app has become in just a short few months.

I love this app. I have been able to get a lot of gift cards. however, in the last 6 months to a year my points have slowed down. I might get 2-4 a day. Otherwise, they app says you get x amount of points if you spend x amount of money. I don't pay for these games because I can't. Another thing, you need more Hole games like All in Hole!! Hope someone reads this.

I have been playing far almost a year every day, and all of a sudden, it tells me my session has expired and I need to log back in. The funny thing is I have tried on every game I play but it is an issue with Mistplay itself as far as I can tell. I can still play all of my game, I just can't earn any reward points. Fix the glitch my review will change.

Gradually, stealthily, the amount of points accumulated for game play has decreased over time. Max daily per 2 hrs played has gone down by a third over the time I've been active. Points required to redeem also increase. Soon, it won't be worth my time. It's disappointing because I used to love this app. UPDATE: Things have only gotten worse. Now, some reward levels are locked unless you spend money every month. Spend points as soon as you can because the goal posts will continue to move. FDT

The last time I withdrew a gift card it was instant, now after playing and playing I have to wait on the gift card of 5 whole dollars to Google Play! No thanks, won't be doing that anymore. Still waiting for that whole big $5 gift card and no reply from customer service. When you get an instant reward to start, that's how it should stay. They say in this review you can check the status, it's no further help, I've checked since the day I tried to get the reward. It simply says pending!

is there any way to turn the pop up bar off at the top? the "welcome back player/you have passed this level" bubble. it pops up every few seconds, interrupting timed events or kicking me out of the game completely. it is extremely annoying. and no, you can't just easily wipe it away, it pops up every 10 secs and you can't help but accidentally hit it occasionally. which sends you back to mist play. test out Cooking Diary and see how easy it is to hit that pop up..

I have been slowly building my credits to get a $10 gift card and was just a few hundred points away from it. Just recently, they made a change to the app. The $5 and $10 gift cards are locked unless you reach silver status. I play casually, when I have time. At the bronze status, the gift cards are no longer available until you reach enough points for $25. Casual players can expect to wait a lot longer to be able to utilize rewards.
