This honestly sucks. It runs slower than arcade emulator choices even on a big and beefy device, it doesn't provide nearly as many options, and the controls are really bad. This is true for all of the Metal Slug Games here. A tip: Some of these issues also dog the computer versions that are sold officially. The cure is to buy this for PC, and put the ROM file into another emulator that does it better. With the Unibios too if you want.
This game is already hard without a slow, difficult to control port. Love this series, wish this version were better. Specifically, the game started slowing down on the very first level. Also, the joystick requires that your finger stays within a very small circle, otherwise it resets to center. Not so fun.
Joystick doesn't operate outside of it's designated zone, there's no way to lock Vulcan cannons in place without having to adjust them constantly in order to move and fire, there's no way to customize controller enabled controls, and the game lags quite a lot of there are too many things on screen. Just like I remember. :) MUST BUY.
