Matalan - Online Shopping

I'm struggling to use the app at times. when I'm scrolling through the items very often it doesn't let me view the next page - most of the time I am stuck on page 1 of whatever! and can't get past this

I don't know what has happened to this app recently it's absolutely useless, it seems to take forever to load, then if you select any filters it's even slower, when it does load there are pop-ups that appear over the photo of the item and you can't see the item, I'm sure we don't really need to know that this item is trending, I have stopped using it as it's making the Matalan shopping experience very frustrating. Matalan I think you must be losing so much business with this useless app.

Lots of choice & school items I needed all in stock whereas other places all out of stock! Will use you again

I used to like looking on this app, but for the last few days, it seems to lag an awful lot. Loading the app up is as normal, but it won't allow you to move off the 'switch notifications on' page. I've tried deleting cache/data,uninstalling and reinstalling it, and switching notifications on. No luck on fixing this issue at all.

installed and uninstalled many times on different devices cannot get past 1 when I click on next it always goes back to 1

This is thee worst app EVER!!!! This is my first review of any app...because it frustrates me so much! Previous app worked better...so why change it!! The simplest thing on a shopping app is to load the next page...nope doesn't work! Definitely makes me shut down the app and not actually buy online! Been like this for ages!! You'd think you would fix something so important! Didn't buy one Christmas present online due to this. I'm sure plenty of others agree.

Crashes a lot. Doesn't have proper filters just for their product as now they sell a lot of not their own brand stuff... Used to be much better.

This app lags to the point its unusable and i go to desktop. This is the only app that this happens on my phone but also the same problems happen on tablet. For example to you click "LARGE" but the lag is so great that the screen resets to the left so "SMALL" is selected. I just give up on the app.

went online and saw an offer to download the app for 15% off. I'm a new customer, so I'm not sure why this didn't work. the options for Click and Collect is 3-5 working days as standard... I would expect this only for home delivery. an additional £1.99 for the next day click and collect! I have never seen a company charge extra for click and collect, appalling customer satisfaction based on this experience. I'll be streering clear of matalan

After recently updating, I can't access the app. I click the app, and it waits on a red page with matalan on it for about 2 minutes, then the log-in screen appears. After clicking log in, it does nothing else. It doesn't highlight the selection made and doesn't link into my account. I've updated my phone, turned it on and off. With no luck.

Slow & sluggish. Terrible user experience and navigating is a chore. a simple retail app is really not hard to produce in 2025

not a review of the app, more a review of their policy. in store and the shirt your want isn't available in your size. no probs. use the app. only 99p extra to have your out of stock item in stock. small rip off, but undeniably a complete rip off

UPDATE*** STILL CANNOT LOAD APP. WHATS GOING ON???Since they updated it, doesnt load!! Have to go into playstore to actually open it which is a fath about when in shop!! Done what ypu suggested STILL NOT WORKING!! NOW KEEPS LOADING SAME PAGE, WASTE OF TIME!!!!!!

Matalan read your reviews!! this app is awful NEVER goes to next page! filters don't work! do something about it! does the online sales not explain how awful this app is! waste of time even having an app!

On-line shopping experience is terrible. It took me all day to buy 6 items for my holiday. Refresh speed is very very slow. I thought it might be my internet speed or connection but I accessed other shop sites easily and able to browse quickly. Please please get this fixed.

very slow app. things appear as a sale price, but when you add them to the shopping bag, they suddenly jump up to the original price. constantly waiting for the app to catch up. Thought it might be easier than the website, but that was just as bad

Doesn't work. Can't browse to shop as when you click "next page" it always goes back to the start of items. Its been like this for months and months now, if not over a year!
