Golf Genius

when opening the app at a tournament this morning I got a message that an update was required.However, when I tried to update it a message appeared that said the app was not compatible with my phone (Adroid). Any fix?

I am a fan of the desktop software for managing leagues and groups. It's very powerful and works extremely well. Unfortunately, the Android app has issues, and they are slow to fix things. The Round Settings and Fire TV menu option disappeared over a month ago and is still not available. If you bounce between live scoring and viewing the leaderboard you can sometimes lose all your entered scores. Refresh button on the leaderboard doesn't refresh. Please fix this stuff!

Was using this App, now 'your device is not compatible with this version' Is this the Yanks bombing down on Chinese mobiles??? Huawei P20. Have a new mobile, a Samsung, and the App is working fine again 🙂

Absolutely ridiculous that your software development team isn't able to figure out ways to provide multiple versions of the App for phones that might "purposefully" operate off older versions Android for various purposes.. I like the customer who made the previous comment will not be upgrading my phone just so that I can run "Golf Genius" from it.. That's absurd! Stop using $'s to purchase other business entity's such as OP 36, CoachNow, Swing U,etc... thanks for making life more difficult.

Arrived to an event, instructed to download and install this app. No clues as to how to find out the login. Some people were able to get connected. I wasnt the score keeper, but it could've been nice to see the standings. I've been to the GG homesite to try and register, but still no reg buttons. Reading the reviews on Google Play, I find that the Club might've answered to our questions. Maybe an opening screen that instruct new user to ask the Club for the info would have eased frustrations.

very not user friendly. most features don't work, other features require getting through a maze to find.

Spends ages buffering. 9/10 times message says registration is closed. Have to go back and forth within the app to get anywhere, but the back buttons and refresh rarely work. Anyone not that used to smart phones and IT gives up. Entries for our club competitions seem well down as entering is so user unfriendly. Some of this may be how our club sets up the app rather than the app itself, but the random 'registration is closed' message is unfathomable.

I can login on the website, but whenever I try to login to the app it says "user/password.combination not found" - using exactly the same credentials.

Installed because a competition I'm entering instructed me to but when opening the app goes straight to a log in page and doesn't allow me to create an account. How is this usable?

Been looking for a new update...I have used this app for several years, because our club & LGA use this. Over the last month or so, when I go to sign in, it will "buffer" for several minutes or more. May or may not connect. It does not matter if over my home wifi or my service signal. I do not know how to tell you to fix this, but something is off. It should load promptly!

this app is very very poorly thought out and managed. there's no guide to checking results and also entering competitions. and if they want to argue the point, go in to competitions and there's nothing on latest results. mapping around the site is difficult. hate it.

Downloaded the app, but no access as it gives no option to join/register it only assumes that you have already registered and have a password. So unusable.

I cannot even get into Golf Genius to register for an ID. I put in my email n password which it originally recognized n now it tells me it is invalid. I click on GGID ID n it just keeps buffering n going nowhere😡

Screen size has changed.... Seems since the last update the login screen has expanded, such that the login button is now underneath the android navigation buttons! Can send a screenshot if needed. Latest update has fixed it. Thanks.

Leaderboard is Terrible - why go to the trouble of developing a live leaderboard which doesn't recognise NRs. Comp results at the end of the day show abandoned rounds in top slots until data is cleaned. Utterly rubbish.

Awful app. Previously our club used IG which was user friendly and easy to understand. Golf Genius is unreliable, overly complicated and is not fit for purpose. The sooner our club revert to IG, the better.

UPDATE: The developer responded very quickly and the issue is resolved. Thanks for the great support! Latest update allows Android 15 3-button nav bar to cover the Login button. Luckily, there is a tiny 3 pixel high strip of the button which is taller than the nav bar so after several attempts you can still login. Please fix this as it's a real pain to login now.

App was great when it worked. However, it has not worked on my Android phone since the last update. I enter the correct code and see my name and the names of the rest of my group. Then when I tap my name the app crashes. I've restarted the device with no luck. It appears to work on iPhone but not Android. Issue needs to be addressed for this to app to be taken seriously.

We use this app for our golf league. At the end of our 9 hole match when I want to check everyone's scores, I click on results and try scrolling down to find a player on the leaderboard, it will flip back to the 'scores' tab. This happens multiple times and is extremely frustrating. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy. Last year I don't remember having this issue.
