I enjoy my frame and really like the idea of it. However, it isn't as great as I would hope. I have hundreds and hundreds of pictures, but the frame shows the same selection of pictures repeatedly. There are so many that are not shown. I work a desk job, so I have the frame in front of me all day and know I am not just "missing" seeing some. There are pictures I have never seen since uploading, and others I see 5+ times a day. If the shuffle worked better, I would give it 5 stars.

I used Frameo a couple of years ago and remember how great it was. I used it for a photo frame I set up for a relative. Here I am 2 years later downloading it for a new frame I got for myself only to find out that I have to have a subscription to experience the full version, such as deleting photos. I can't even see the photos from the app in order to manage them, which makes this completely useless. I can see charging for cloud backup, but they ruined the experience. I'll be modding this frame.

I can't tell if the picture I send is the right ratio/size for the Frameo device. The app always makes it look like the photo is too big & the recipient will only see it zoomed in on the middle of a picture. So I have no idea what my mom-in-law sees. Is she only seeing the 2 people in the center of a group shot I sent? I don't know. It is frustrating. The app should show you exactly what the recipients device will display. The device should by default 'fit to screen" while keeping aspect ratio.

It's always the software... The software isn't great. You can't really do anything to the photos before sending them to the frame - can't resize them, can't rotate them, etc. You also can't add galleries - you're limited to uploading ten pictures at a time. On top of that - you HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE SAME STEPS EVERY SINGLE TIME - need to be able to set an option to skip adding text - setting the best view shouldn't even be a thing, just scale the picture down to fit the frame.

The free version is fine, but not great, given that you have a limit of ten photos per an upload. I lost a lot of respect for the company upon seeing that it wants to charge to use the frameo+ app that makes the product more functional. We already spent quite a bit on the frame. Just give us a more functional app to use with the product that was already expensive to begin with. Will not be purchasing again when it's time to replace.

This is easy to use because you can select directly from several folders, but it zooms in a lot. This means you have to edit each photo to include a border, if you want the entire photo uploaded, not just the middle part. Edit 5/17/24: thanks, Frameo, for the feedback on how to use "fit to frame" option on the device. I don't own the frame, so I cannot access settings in the slideshow. This is a review in terms of uploading the photos in the app.

I really want to love it but, within a month of setting up, I started having issues. Randomly, 15+ times a day it shuts off with a warning sign to never unplug while it's on. That's NEVER happened. I deal with it. I now have a new issue of it just completely freezing. I have a scheduled auto on/off time set- once it's "off" time comes, it turns off and doesn't turn back on unless I manually turn it on. I've reset it, completely wiped it and started from scratch, same issue. Very unfortunate 😕

The frame is nice, but I wish it would play from specific folders. It's all or nothing. It repeats the same photos a lot, too. I can not edit titles of photos uploaded from usb. Saw some frames that turn off & back on when you walk past it. That would be a nice feature. I also don't like that they updated features & you have to pay for them. Quality of photos are good.

It is inconvenient to scroll images with a preview - it is constantly hidden and shown. There is no built-in editor. And the most annoying thing is that when you "select a circle" - you cannot zoom out to increase visible area of photo. But, at least, photo sending works fine! 👍

I was loving the frameo and the app. now my frame constantly says it isn't connected to my wifi. I have great internet speed, wifi is perfect on any other device I use it on, so it's not on that end. it's obviously the frameo, it's really too bad too. and I'll click the connect to wifi, it will connect and as soon as I walk away I get the notification it's not connected to my wifi. the little icon is always in the corner

My sister got this as a gift for my grandma so we can add photos easily from all over the country. App is easy to use, but is so limited on functions. When I upload a photo, I can't adjust the size or the part of the photo I want to show, and it's even worse to choose the circle of the "most important part". I have a few photos I didn't upload because the photo won't show the full family or the circle will not encompass what I want.

Love this! Have bought for 3 family members and planning to buy for 2 more. It's a great way to stay connected, especially long distance. The only thing that would bring this app to 5 stars for me, would be to have a feature that shows which pictures have already been sent to frames so I don't end up sending duplicates without having to scroll through my sent history.

I really like the frame size. However, being able to only load 10 pictures at a time is time-consuming and frustrating, along with pictures not fitting well. I was unable to load pictures from my laptop to Frameo directly. I had to load pictures to my Android/Google pictures to load unto Frameo. Could you please tell me what the $17.99? upgrade entails. Thank you.

horrible operation! It's not worth the purchase. to add and remove photos is too complicated. keeps asking permission to all my photos. NO! Just let me pic what to send and make it so I can delete it. Go buy a Skylight frame as they are so much better. Does anyone want to buy my frames? sSell it cheap. Works, I just hate the operation of it.

I really like this app, but only rated it 3 stars because it consistently crashes when uploading photos to the frame. it only allows 10 photos to be sent at a time, and after 3ish times (approx 30 photos), the app crashes which is super annoying and time consuming. if the app allowed more downloads at a time and was more stable it would be a 5 star from. me for sure

I loved my Frameo for these past few years. Now, NO, we had 2 major thunderstorms over a week ago, lost power both times, and now the Frame and Frameo app no longer work. I keep getting an internal error and wrong information showing up with the internal error message. I have sent CS an email but have NOT heard from them. I guess it's time to throw it in trash.

This app is horrible to work with! I have just purchased the 10.1 oak frame. Wasn't able to load photos from the laptop, app is not available for Windows and USB c cable wouldn't work. On the phone, you can only do ten at a time, which isn't an issue. What is, is the fact it doesn't tick to say which ones are loaded. When you try to select the next ones you have to remember where you left off but as you scroll down it moves up so you can't select and keep going. I don't recommend this product.

Why is the software made so that every photo is cut off and only certain portions of it can be viewed in the frame? The Skylight frame is much better in that way, no need to pick which part of the photo the viewer can see in the frame. Only gets an extra star because the captions are free to add (paid feature on comparable frames like Skylight).

Nice way to send pictures to a photo frame at my "not so tech savvy parents". I just have some comments. First, there is no way to see what the picture will actually look like if you're uploading remotely from a phone. There are times when the pictures is cropped the wrong way. Second, I wish there were more sources for photos, eg. Google photos, sftp, etc.

Purchased as a gift. It's not good. Adding pictures is a huge pain. You can only send 10 at a time without adding a premium membership for each device adding. It's $17ish/year, which isn't a lot, but I could go broke on things that are cheap because there's millions of them. You have to click an "add" button 4 times after selection to add, and you can't go look at what you've already added. Most pictures do not fit well. DO NOT recommend. Trash app and I regret the purchase.-thanks I'll send one
