Hands down the most useless and hard to use app ever. It is so super confusing and essentially if you don't pay for it, there is almost nothing that is of use to you. You can't get notifications on anyone or find out who from your league is playing. Not to mention, the app looks straight out of the 80s with the graphics. I'm not sure who designed this but it is just awful.
Not impressed. Not easy to navigate. Not easy to switch to tournaments you arent part of. Not willing to pay money to get notifications of how friends are doing. Sticking with desktop version because its faster and easier to use.
Horrible. Bring back the older version! Much easier to use. You obviously know this and have nothing but bad reviews. How can you go this long knowing how bad this app is and not correct it for at least the players sake. Get it together. If not someone else will step up. You don't need to reply to me, just fix your problem.
Edit: 10/1/24 App experience has continued to decrease constantly have issues with the app freezing won't take inputs. Is not a device specific issue I have had this happen on 3 different devices. League system uses compusport to track leagues. But now app is locking most useful features of the old app like following other players behind a subscription. If they are doing a subscription it should be included for those that play in a league system that uses Compusport.
You have to pay just to see the score of a match. ** Update 8/12/24 - Thanks for the response. I select a match from the 2024 APA World Pool Championships and under Results it says PREMIUM. I select the SCORE SHEET button under that and it goes to a new page that says "Score keeping is disabled" and no scores are shown. So selecting "the scoresheet button" does not show the score.
I used your app for the first time last night. It's not bad. Not perfect, but not bad. Two suggestions: (1)Have someone with a background in writing, write the instructions for implementing the app. (2) Unlike most of your clients, I have a background in UI design. Here is an annoyance: At the end of a game, when the scorekeepers go to enter the results (ball count in our case), the interface allowed me to fat finger "66". You should cut it off at 10, or the first digit if it's not "1".
Overall, good app. What would achieve 5 stars from me is the ability to use the common "2-finger pinch zoom in/out" function while within the scoresheet. Yes, there's the zoom in/out function, but it isn't efficiently effective as pinch function.
When in the app & looking at a bracket or some other things, then trying to go back to previous page with the arrow at the top left in the app, it does nothing, then I hit the back button on my phone & a pop up asks if I wish to close app. I end up having to close & restart app constantly and navigate back to where I wanted which is extremely frustrating & time consuming when trying to follow brackets & be updated. If this is an issue of not paying for premium that is absolutely ridiculous.
This might be the worst designed app I've ever used. The interface is not user friendly. It feels like you need a degree in rocket science to navigate through the app just to find something as simple as the league stats. The older version of this app was so user friendly. I'd give this current version 0 stars if I could.
The app worked well before the update. Now you want to charge me an app fee to access my own stats? No chance in hell. Extremely disappointed in compusport. The new user abilities went into the can. Whoever's idea it was to charge and withhold personal stats or stats in general taking a great app to chump status needs to change job fields.
Belong on an 8 ball League team. Use this app every week. Takes a little bit of using to get to know it's workings. Full screen ads with audio are obnoxious. Bad enough with the small ones that litter every inch of every page but when switching to a different view a full screen ad pops up on the screen with audio blasting is TERRIBLE. I get it is an attempt to get people to subscribe to your service but I think I'd rather use an ad blocker on your unintuitive site just to avoid the full screen ads in the app.

Unable to print schedule. I used to be able to print my teams league schedule from the app. I don't see a way to do this with the latest version of the app. Please bring the print function back.

Their servers have been down for months and there is no customer support number/E-mail to contact on the login page. Can't login, can't contact customer support about not being able to login and all this for a monthly fee.

Scam alert! I subscribed to compusport during my cuty dart tournament. The teams screen said that to compare team stats, i had to subscribe. After i subscribed, the message changed from, you need to subscribe to see this info, to no info available. Too bad it doesn't tell you that there is no info until after they jack your four bucks.
Not user friendly. Takes forever to load. Over half of all the features are by subscription only. I use to be able to pull up the website on my phone, not anymore. This is an app I am forced to use due to leagues and tournaments and it is so hard to navigate. I'm already paying hundreds and thousands of dollars to play in these events and now you want me to pay you too. I don't even feel like if I did pay the app would work any better. It just constantly freezes.
Advertised update to fix crashes is a workaround???
was able to use this app last night(July 23), now unable to get into it, even changed password ( which by the way, is a pain) why doesn't this app show the new password, so you can confirm this? having apps on your phone is more time consuming and drains your battery and takes up space, my own opinion.
Their website is garbage (not mobile friendly at all). Their app is pretty bad too. Very unresponsive when zooming and such, and you get to see ads while you're looking for matches. If you like to see ads for events you've paid money to join then you'll love this one! Not sure why Western BCA decided to use this service. A step backwards for players.
Not impressed. Not easy to navigate. Not easy to switch to tournaments you arent part of. Not willing to pay money to get notifications of how friends are doing. Sticking with desktop version because its faster and easier to use.
Horrible. Bring back the older version! Much easier to use. You obviously know this and have nothing but bad reviews. How can you go this long knowing how bad this app is and not correct it for at least the players sake. Get it together. If not someone else will step up. You don't need to reply to me, just fix your problem.
Edit: 10/1/24 App experience has continued to decrease constantly have issues with the app freezing won't take inputs. Is not a device specific issue I have had this happen on 3 different devices. League system uses compusport to track leagues. But now app is locking most useful features of the old app like following other players behind a subscription. If they are doing a subscription it should be included for those that play in a league system that uses Compusport.
You have to pay just to see the score of a match. ** Update 8/12/24 - Thanks for the response. I select a match from the 2024 APA World Pool Championships and under Results it says PREMIUM. I select the SCORE SHEET button under that and it goes to a new page that says "Score keeping is disabled" and no scores are shown. So selecting "the scoresheet button" does not show the score.
I used your app for the first time last night. It's not bad. Not perfect, but not bad. Two suggestions: (1)Have someone with a background in writing, write the instructions for implementing the app. (2) Unlike most of your clients, I have a background in UI design. Here is an annoyance: At the end of a game, when the scorekeepers go to enter the results (ball count in our case), the interface allowed me to fat finger "66". You should cut it off at 10, or the first digit if it's not "1".
Overall, good app. What would achieve 5 stars from me is the ability to use the common "2-finger pinch zoom in/out" function while within the scoresheet. Yes, there's the zoom in/out function, but it isn't efficiently effective as pinch function.
When in the app & looking at a bracket or some other things, then trying to go back to previous page with the arrow at the top left in the app, it does nothing, then I hit the back button on my phone & a pop up asks if I wish to close app. I end up having to close & restart app constantly and navigate back to where I wanted which is extremely frustrating & time consuming when trying to follow brackets & be updated. If this is an issue of not paying for premium that is absolutely ridiculous.
This might be the worst designed app I've ever used. The interface is not user friendly. It feels like you need a degree in rocket science to navigate through the app just to find something as simple as the league stats. The older version of this app was so user friendly. I'd give this current version 0 stars if I could.
The app worked well before the update. Now you want to charge me an app fee to access my own stats? No chance in hell. Extremely disappointed in compusport. The new user abilities went into the can. Whoever's idea it was to charge and withhold personal stats or stats in general taking a great app to chump status needs to change job fields.
Hands down the most useless and hard to use app ever. It is so super confusing and essentially if you don't pay for it, there is almost nothing that is of use to you. You can't get notifications on anyone or find out who from your league is playing. Not to mention, the app looks straight out of the 80s with the graphics. I'm not sure who designed this but it is just awful.
Full screen ads with audio are obnoxious. Bad enough with the small ones that litter every inch of every page but when switching to a different view a full screen ad pops up on the screen with audio blasting is TERRIBLE. I get it is an attempt to get people to subscribe to your service but I think I'd rather use an ad blocker on your unintuitive site just to avoid the full screen ads in the app.
Not sure what to say except. There needs to be a better way to keep track of matches played and games won. Because I know for a fact my games won is higher than shown. Whoever inputs the scores into CompuSport should be held accountable. When a ticket is scanned the person running the evnent should have to input the correct number of games won by each player right then infront of them. That way you are not relying solely on the integrity of another individual.
The app is free to download, but there is a monthly cost to use the simplest options like player/team search. Their servers have been down for months and there is no customer support number/E-mail to contact on the login page. Can't login, can't contact customer support about not being able to login and all this for a monthly fee.

Unable to print schedule. I used to be able to print my teams league schedule from the app. I don't see a way to do this with the latest version of the app. Please bring the print function back.

Belong on an 8 ball League team. Use this app every week. Takes a little bit of using to get to know it's workings. Too many ADS and constant promotion to pay for an upgrade that really doesn't help above standard scoring capabilities. Upcoming matches, un- finished matches, player stats, team standings and overall all player standings as season progresses. Pretty simple and easy to learn and use.
