The interface and overall experience of your app is the most difficult...The App us slow and take a long time to respond...And it's because if this issue that I've decided to move all my savings to FNB ...Sometimes it's hard to simply login into ... The overall experience is not entirely convenient 😒

horrible app, the developers if this app did a bad job, I've been using online banking with other banks alot and they apps a easy to use with no problem, it's harder to register in this app the developers need to fix this problem because if they don't the bank will lose its clients

worst app ever you have to download it every 5 days otherwise it doesn't login ..I stand in correction if you want to download this app rather just leave african bank as a total ..it's useless I have never experienced so many problems with a bank in the 6months I've been with them

Probably the worst banking app I've even used, it never works and when it does, it lags. I can't see my money because it thinks I'm a new customer who doesn't have an account yet, log in notifications are annoying, some functions/features disappear when you want to use them, sometimes I can't even log in period, do better guys, as customers we have options, don't make us consider them.

I am a new client and definitely not happy with the app, I can not do a simple thing like adding a beneficiary,so now how do I send people money to their accounts? I am honestly really pissed, I was so excited downloading the app but 👎👎👎this app does not priorities clients and that's really a shame. I have never been so irritated

I've been trying to send money to my other bank it's been day 3 now. I hate using ATM now i don't have other options though i have this App. It keeps showing that it's not possible to make this transaction at the moment,why???? Yhoooooo am exhausted i think I have to cut ties with African Bank i can't take it anymore.

Forget online purchases with this app. It's slow, takes forever to send OTPs and it notifies you late when money enters or is withdrawn from your account. I'm switching banks thank you very much.

not well satisfied with the app, sometimes just stop working out of nowhere even after I have updated it. I have had few events where I got stuck trying to access my account but unfortunately the app just couldn't log in. I will go to the branch to reset my login credentials but a week later or a month later, boom! the app doesn't wanna login

I struggle to log in whether using WiFi or my own data, it just keeps loading forever and doesn't even give an error or indication of what could be the problem and I am really not happy especially now that I've switched my salary to be paid into this my African bank account 🤦

The app needs data to open. If you run out of data, you can not open the app to buy data, it does not make sense. Again, when you view your transaction history on the app it shows limited transactions . Can you also fix the reference part when you make a payment, my ID can't even fit in the field. May you please increase the number of characters that should fit in that field. Apart from that I can't complain much about the app.

What's happening with the AFB app, I can't log in anymore, after updating to the latest version I'm having issues with logging in, it's been well over a week.

Since Sunday 29 June 2025, I went to check the eft payments I made and when I click on the beneficiary, the app restarts every time. 2/7/2025 - I want to pay a beneficiary, and every time I click on the beneficiary it's restarting again. I've restarted the app, restarted my phone the error keeps on persisting

This app keep getting more useless and complected with every update. Only transacts on its terms and schedule. 5 stars for the look. And the sms notification every time I log in is annoying, at least if I was been notified of a log in on a new or different device.

Worst banking app I've ever used. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app so many times just to get access to the app, and I don't even use the app that much. Totally frustrating when I can't get access and don't have the time or patience to uninstall and reinstall the app and go through the whole process. I don't even have the words to describe my dissatisfaction! No, sorry. I'm not sending an email to explain my problem...not my job! Report it to the so-called clever people to fix this!!!!

While I'm writing this review, I'm thinking, "Why did I open an account with this bank?". Because, if the app is constantly giving your issues, especially when having to make transactions, what's the point of having the app? So what's the point of being a African Bank client? At least our money is safe...hopefully. They need to get their technicians to be proactive. I want to transfer money between my accounts but I can't. Such a simple task as that

A very promising bank with a useless development team. every new app update is a disaster, the app tells you "the app version is not no longer supported" & at the same time is also not installable on the latest version of Android OS as you soon find out that you are now stuck. An indication of the lack of care or proper testing before publishing this nonsense app. You cannot do better from here, you have failed dismally to even try, I have never seen something this unreliable.

I am always having problems with the app, not being able to add payers the OPs I get takes do long that the transactions expire. At the moment it keeps saying that I need to upload the new version of the app. when I do it goes back to saying there is an error, please update the app. I have deleted it and uploaded it but it still tells me my version needs updating. When I signed into my account on the weekend it showed there was an error.

The app needs data to open. If you run out of data, you can not open the app to buy data, it does not make sense. Again, when you view your transaction history on the app it shows limited transactions . Can you also fix the reference part when you make a payment, my ID can't even fit in the field. May you please increase the number of characters that should fit in that field. Apart from that I can't complain much about the app.

Worst banking app I've ever used. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app so many times just to get access to the app, and I don't even use the app that much. Totally frustrating when I can't get access and don't have the time or patience to uninstall and reinstall the app and go through the whole process. I don't even have the words to describe my dissatisfaction! No, sorry. I'm not sending an email to explain my problem...not my job! Report it to the so-called clever people to fix this!!!!

While I'm writing this review, I'm thinking, "Why did I open an account with this bank?". Because, if the app is constantly giving your issues, especially when having to make transactions, what's the point of having the app? So what's the point of being a African Bank client? At least our money is safe...hopefully. They need to get their technicians to be proactive. I want to transfer money between my accounts but I can't. Such a simple task as that

A very promising bank with a useless development team. every new app update is a disaster, the app tells you "the app version is not no longer supported" & at the same time is also not installable on the latest version of Android OS as you soon find out that you are now stuck. An indication of the lack of care or proper testing before publishing this nonsense app. You cannot do better from here, you have failed dismally to even try, I have never seen something this unreliable.

I am always having problems with the app, not being able to add payers the OPs I get takes do long that the transactions expire. At the moment it keeps saying that I need to upload the new version of the app. when I do it goes back to saying there is an error, please update the app. I have deleted it and uploaded it but it still tells me my version needs updating. When I signed into my account on the weekend it showed there was an error.

horrible app, the developers if this app did a bad job, I've been using online banking with other banks alot and they apps a easy to use with no problem, it's harder to register in this app the developers need to fix this problem because if they don't the bank will lose its clients

worst app ever you have to download it every 5 days otherwise it doesn't login ..I stand in correction if you want to download this app rather just leave african bank as a total ..it's useless I have never experienced so many problems with a bank in the 6months I've been with them

Probably the worst banking app I've even used, it never works and when it does, it lags. I can't see my money because it thinks I'm a new customer who doesn't have an account yet, log in notifications are annoying, some functions/features disappear when you want to use them, sometimes I can't even log in period, do better guys, as customers we have options, don't make us consider them.

I am a new client and definitely not happy with the app, I can not do a simple thing like adding a beneficiary,so now how do I send people money to their accounts? I am honestly really pissed, I was so excited downloading the app but 👎👎👎this app does not priorities clients and that's really a shame. I have never been so irritated

I've been trying to send money to my other bank it's been day 3 now. I hate using ATM now i don't have other options though i have this App. It keeps showing that it's not possible to make this transaction at the moment,why???? Yhoooooo am exhausted i think I have to cut ties with African Bank i can't take it anymore.

Forget online purchases with this app. It's slow, takes forever to send OTPs and it notifies you late when money enters or is withdrawn from your account. I'm switching banks thank you very much.

The interface and overall experience of your app is the most difficult...The App us slow and take a long time to respond...And it's because if this issue that I've decided to move all my savings to FNB ...Sometimes it's hard to simply login into ... The overall experience is not entirely convenient 😒

I struggle to log in whether using WiFi or my own data, it just keeps loading forever and doesn't even give an error or indication of what could be the problem and I am really not happy especially now that I've switched my salary to be paid into this my African bank account 🤦

The app needs data to open. If you run out of data, you can not open the app to buy data, it does not make sense. Again, when you view your transaction history on the app it shows limited transactions . Can you also fix the reference part when you make a payment, my ID can't even fit in the field. May you please increase the number of characters that should fit in that field. Apart from that I can't complain much about the app.

Since Sunday 29 June 2025, I went to check the eft payments I made and when I click on the beneficiary, the app restarts every time. 2/7/2025 - I want to pay a beneficiary, and every time I click on the beneficiary it's restarting again. I've restarted the app, restarted my phone the error keeps on persisting

This app keep getting more useless and complected with every update. Only transacts on its terms and schedule. 5 stars for the look. And the sms notification every time I log in is annoying, at least if I was been notified of a log in on a new or different device.

not well satisfied with the app, sometimes just stop working out of nowhere even after I have updated it. I have had few events where I got stuck trying to access my account but unfortunately the app just couldn't log in. I will go to the branch to reset my login credentials but a week later or a month later, boom! the app doesn't wanna login
