Some items are good, and some look like they are made in sweat shops. Which scares me. Trying to just open the app up is damn near impossible with ads that hardly ever come to fruition. Don't even get me started on their "games" Anywho, look for yourself, but be sure to read item descriptions. The pics are NOT to scale. I got an incense burner that is like 1 in X 1 in. and has a felt liner.
I have found that because of some mobility problems and problems with advertising that you really have to be aware of what you are getting. Always look at the dimensions of products. I have probably received a picture but when ordering, I didn't get one out of the five I ordered was correct. I could go on. I always read customer service claims and reviews, even there I am suspect. These are a few of what happened to me so that is why I wrote this opinion. There are excellent buys to be had.
Too many special offers! I get you're using casino techniques to sell all day, but FFS I can't even look for what I want half the time. you make so many offers that I'm halfway through one offer and bam another offer! oh don't worry your cart(s) are all pending and each offer stacks so you gotta buy here to get this. when an order doesn't go through your cash is credited back. stop with the wheels and mystery boxes if you're just going to give me the. discount anyway. wasting my time.
I've been using temu for 2 1/2 years. It has become my go to place for almost anything I need. The price is less than anywhere else and the quality is good. If there is a problem they will work with you. It is important to read the reviews and look at the photos. Check the measurements and materials before ordering. I was worried the tariffs would affect the prices but the increase was small. They also have lots of sales and rewards cutting prices even more. I love temu! 🥰 They appreciate me.
Once loved it, but now having all sorts of problems. Even though I get my money back on items that got lost in delivery, It's becoming more of a hassle. 1. The item that got lost went up in price, and that's ridiculous. 2 Send an reimbursement invite literally right after you made an order. That's order should had counted. I'm not paying a hundred dollars on nick nacks, when I should be able to get what I need on the reimbursement page and browse. If you leave that page it won't count...ugh.
games are annoying. you earn $ or credit for purchase but have to spend more to get them. you have to use them right then and there within a certain time limit. it's annoying and a rip off. I already spent my budget and can't order more, so I lose the credit. Sometimes I just want to browse and not be forced to play games that really don't benefit me. looking for another site with less hassle.
Good luck to you if you ever need to contact support as they are less than helpful if the automated bots are unable to resolve. Upper supports results in copy/paste responses. You're able to find cheap items, and shipping speeds are reasonable. The gotcha games/messages that are constantly being thrown in your face are a bit annoying and misleading.
App and pricing on things are good. However, I really get annoyed at all the prizes and coupons/rebates they try to trick you into, which doesn't really pan out. It's just a way to get you to spend more money on the app. They also raise some of those prices on items for the supposed free things and coupon/rebates.
it's a hit or miss online store, but I've had more hits than misses. just be cautious as every time you open the app they try to get you to buy stuff with "promotions" and "winning coupons" anything that says free you have to spend money first. but I've only gotten one item out of several so far that was a bust. they also have local warehouses for those who prefer to order in the US
Good prices, highly inconvenient to use. Example: you see an item in a Temu ad that you are like, so you click on it. Your page is immediately hijacked by a fake game that always gives you the max prize. You click through that. Now to see the item...wait, now there's a special offer for cash back! Click past that. 3RD interruption: limited time only! 29:59 to shop THIS PAGE ONLY that doesn't have the item you came to see! Tip: 30 min means nothing, they extend it at the end. Never found my item.
I get so many amazing items on Temu. I am sadly somewhat addicted. Fortunately, it is an inexpensive addiction. Some of the stuff is way smaller than expected (be sure to read the specs before you order). They are good about returns, but sometimes they tell you to just keep the item at no charge, but sometimes I want a replacement, and I don't get that option. That is disappointing. I don't understand some of their "game offers," but that is ok. some things are unique and so cool.
They did their usual bait and switch. Offer a discount/promo, and then when time to check out, those items disappear after payment made. Spoke with customer service and was told I might have not met requirements. I spent more than was required and still had time left. Their response was to send me links to cancel my order..which would have been great, IF they worked. So I ended up buying stuff for a promo that I never got. Then they text saying I can buy those items in a new order.
I love Temu. I've been using it for a couple years and never had issues that weren't resolved. Returns are easy (if they even want it back), customer service is fast and helpful. Obviously, you are often getting what you pay for so the quality isn't going to be the same as something you might buy at a brick and mortar store. I wouldn't buy electronics or certain other items but with that in mind its fantastic. I've heard the app is malware but I'm not an important person with a lot to hack from.
Ordered one item because of the promotions which sounded very good. I did get the item, but then unexpectedly the other 4 items that were suppose to have arrived at the same time somehow got lost in transit....yeah, because they were the free items that for some reason got shipped separately. I have a PO Box mainly for my packages, so i don't buy this excuse. This app is a scam and now I confirmed it and since it's a Chinese app, then yeah, it's a scam.
Addicting. Business model strings you along and keeps you in the dark, needing more in the "deal" forcing you to check out but asking for more. Disappointed to have "free delivery" and multiple exceptions. Need to get at least $30 here and now at least $30 at this other location or pay shipping. I shouldn't have to pay shipping for one item that is well over $60 in total.
I used to love this app. Their prices are great and the products usually have decent quality. The clothes tend to run a little small. Recently, they have a "promotion" where you're supposed to get coupons for free products but it's completely fake. I've read all the fine print and it says that "Everyone gets our best price." It causes a LOT Of pop-ups and you don't actually get anything for free. Because of this, I have stopped browsing on the app because it is so irritating.
I think they have access to your bank account? I only get sent offers for credits back after purchasing and legit 90% off things when my account is at $0 lol. the "real" before discount prices are not real, I've had things in my cart go from $40 while "on sale" to $20 original price. other than that, before I noticed the bank account thing, it's all been great. that's just weird if they actually have access like that, the US was skeptical in the first place for reasons like that tho so...
a good place to shop, especially if you want to try new things but dont want to overpay. fantastic customer service and communication, never had a problem with payments since they take PayPal and my info is secure; for 2 years I've never had an issue. BUT - recently, they changed to "local warehouse" only, which means you now pay for shipping. everything from temu is free shipping, but local stuff is $2.99 unless you spend $30 from that specific seller...which is impossible. terrible change.
The app itself is totally scammed. I spin the wheel I pick the items and when it tells you "getting those items for free with discount or coupons." You actually have to pay a shipping fee and a tax fee which makes some items that are 4 dollar go up to 10 dollars. I personally I had to get refunded some money because recently one of my items did not show up and the customer service is terrible, and the stuff you buy isn't actually good quality.I don't recommend this app. I don't trust it anymore.
Temu is such a scam, and the pop-ups are so annoying. The app yells in your face that you're getting free items and free "cash" sent to your PayPal etc. Then you have like 10 minutes (so crucial) to checkout to get the gifts. There is no way to see the details in 10 minutes, and you end up buying junk and not getting the gifts it says. I've deleted it before, and will again now. It was very simple. I chose 4 free items, and received one. Item I paid for was marked up.

🥰 They appreciate me.
it's a hit or miss online store, but I've had more hits than misses. just be cautious as every time you open the app they try to get you to buy stuff with "promotions" and "winning coupons" anything that says free you have to spend money first. but I've only gotten one item out of several so far that was a bust. they also have local warehouses for those who prefer to order in the US
I love Temu.

App and pricing on things are good. However, I really get annoyed at all the prizes and coupons/rebates they try to trick you into, which doesn't really pan out. It's just a way to get you to spend more money on the app. They also raise some of those prices on items for the supposed free things and coupon/rebates.
