I've been playing for a while now. Just reached level 45. The game gives you a lot of resources for improvement. The best thing I have found was that when breaking down items to up grade another you get back all the resources and gold used to make and level up that item. It makes for great exploring your items and their possibilities. I would love to see more skill options however, It's getting old having the same go to options to pick from. I've been using the Kunai throwing knives through the whole thing. I get way more of them than any other weapon so I haven't really been able to level up the other weapons to any thing of use which could make the game a little more interesting and optional. I noticed under the Preview screen shots of the game just above this review section that it's showing an instance or possibility of using 3 different weapons or skills. It Shows utilizing the Katana, Shotgun (Gatling Gun) and Kunai and the same time. I'm curious if this is actually possible or if it's unintentionally falsifying actual game play...I'd love to be able to dual wield or even Triple wield...Not sure where that 3rd hand is coming from but l'm looking forward to possibilities. So please, more skill options and a more random selection in weapon drops. Thanks Guys. Keep up the great work. And thanks for ever being in character and proactive in the games community.
Such a fun game, and as many others have mentioned the ads are completely optional. I have also seen some people mention P2W which has not been my experience at all, sure you can spend money to get some items but you can also get all of those items by simply playing the game. Join a active clan and play the events and you will be geared up in no time.
I've got 182 days on the game so far and have only made any purchases because I wanted to. You can play the entire thing without spending a cent and I appreciate that. There is definitely a complex build system if you play it correctly and want to maximize your damage output. Find an active clan and it's even better!
Really good game, I have no issues playing it and while I did get bored of it and stopped playing it for a while a few different times, I started playing it again today due to boredom and It kept me entertained. I'm only gonna ask for one thing... Please add an endless mode. I like games like this one and I think they work really well with an endless gamemode. (While I don't remember it vividly) I remember playing a game like this one in an endless mode, it was fun.
Ok this was a great decision. Online fun, endless combos, and challenges to keep you on your toes. It's satisfying to upgrade your weapons so they are insane and just destroy monsters, also really fun to level up since you unlock even more stuff. The game has a cartoonish art style and the things you can get from events is so cool. I like how they have a AFK option so you can earn loads of stuff with your device not even on. 5/5
this game is fun, it's super satisfying, there's no ads unless you want it too an example of this is, when you die you are given the chance watch an ad to revive and if you click no thanks it doesn't give you an ad unlike basically every other mobile. also usually the game's that dont have ads are offical game ports but this isn't which makes it even better. I have a request though rename the evolved version of the force field to "domain expansion" instead of "this is my domain" anyway bye
Up until this point I haven't had any problem with the game, I've actually really enjoyed it. My only real problem is that some items from old events stay in your inventory even if there is no way to get rid of them, but that's not even a very big problem since it doesn't stop me from doing anything. Great game! Edit: they've actually brought in a way to trade in old event items (at least the ones I had) so my only real problem is now gone :)
finding a good mobile game that doesn't bombard you with ads these days seems impossible. however that's what you get with survivor. I love this mobile game and play it way too much, haha. the leveling system is great, you don't get stuck behind a grind wall that seems impossible to pass, and it's actually fun. love this.
First off, a few words of thanks and praise to the devs. Your work shines through the masses in this game, from the lowly beginning stages of throwing knives and so much as a pillow for protection, to the fiery inferno of fully maxed Molotovs and the outrageous wheel of death, this game is perfect. Thank you for putting time into what matters, and not expecting me to watch an ad every time I want to select something new on the Home Screen. What a wonderful relief to grind all the way to the top and not even spend a dime getting their. That’s the way a quality game should be, and that’s the way you made it. So thank you a thousand times and again. To potential players—- Absolutely worth it. Like seriously just play this game and find out how right I Am. For the player that wants to scratch that I-want-to-be-destructive itch, this is for you. You begin with nothing, and in no time at all your desire to annihilate massive onslaughts of zombies of all different kinds is fulfilled. Your hunger for customization and thoughtful strategic plays is satiated, and your thirst for levels upon levels upon levels is quenched. There’s seemingly no end in sight, although I know I will get there myself with how addicted I am. The rewards are plentiful, the ads are almost non existent and NO, you do not have to pay to play to your hearts content. Just play it ok, trust me.
Awesome game for passing time. I personally like how many rewards you can claim every time you log in. Progression is really fast, but you need a lot of gold to upgrade your armor and stuff. Aswell as to upgrade your level rewards. Although, I have a lot of keys that I cannot use. Are they keys for a certain event? Because they don't show up in the shop. That's all I'm wondering about. Really fun game.
So as soon enough the internet has been working for me and I haven’t got to a ad I’m surprised but that’s pretty weird I’m not getting ads so it’s like killing people in doomsday mobile game and puzzle of survival so as you start to play this game again your back at level 1 but who cares we can get to like 21 level so picking like 20 or 21 skills so we might die in like 40 seconds but still you can get next attempt way better on your side cause my way I’ve been to 17 level while battling cause it feels like a stressful game but sometimes you get dumb by surviving in like 2 hours but I don’t know how there’s no leaderboard that makes no sense like Subway Surfers has a leaderboard and race clicker on Roblox not just some little secret leaderboard if I see that I’m rating this game 4 stars just kidding keeping five stars I know this is as long as like dab pilkey’s books like super diaper baby Gluk and I don’t know so let me skip like dog man everybody who knows that piece of 50 year old with a cool drawing dav pilkey this feels like as fun listening to xxxtentacion music I mean the game well bye you can be done reading
Okay so normally I don’t right reviews like ever Becuase it takes time and effort that I just frankly don’t want to put forth. However this game is completely different. I played Archero before it was even cool or popular like it has become it was super fun and me and my best friend and brother always loved playing it together. Until this game came out, I was just scrolling through the AppStore looking for something to play and I find this game, I had recently saw an ad for it on Tiktok or something. So I downloaded it and have been playing it for like a week or so straight. It’s very addicting and well put together. It allows me to play something on my phone for once instead of scrolling through tiktok and that’s it. I haven’t played many phone games in my time, however when I was a kid the phone games were great things were still new and innovative. Genres were still being created almost everyday. This game brings back all the good memories I had as a child of playing phone games. Me sitting in church wanting my grandmas phone to play with, being at Walmart shopping and wanting to play, so many other places I always wanted to play games. So thank you developers for making such a good game and allowing me to have that childhood fun back. I can’t wait to see what you guys have in store for us, keep up the good work. Love Zayaslaya

Survivor.io is fun and addicting, and you don't need to spend money to enjoy it (you can choose to watch ads and/or wait for freebies). I have spent money on it myself, just to speed things up a bit, but it is far from necessary. If you like games that progressively become extremely challenging and that require flexible strategic and tactical thought, I highly recommend this game. My advice for new players is to not get discouraged until you learn the power synergies and try different builds.
Super addicted and I'm not even sure why. The challenge is perfect, it's very much the same everytime, but since you only have so many slots, it makes for a different game each time. I would like a speedup button so I didn't have to play the full 15 minutes through, but being able to stop and come back without losing progress is really nice. Slow progression to merge gear, but I'm F2P so that's not unexpected. Only ads are to gain rewards, so that's a plus too.
I had to force myself to stop playing the game to write a review! This game is SO INCREDIBLY FUN and absolutely ADDICTING! It looks exactly like the ads, and I'm enjoying every second of it! It can get a bit repetitive, but it gets more fun every time because you can kill more and more zombies and monsters after each time you die. This is by-far my favorite mobile game to date. More than Clash of Clans and BitLife, if that tells you anything 😅
My original review was a 2* pushed to 1* because the game was really unfun at some point, but the more I played, the more I realized that the game was way better than I thought. My main complaint was it being "impossible without s grades" but that was just me being a crybaby over a chapter I could've easily beaten with different gear. Overall the game is pretty entertaining once you pass around VERY early game imo. If you like this type of game, check it out. You won't be disappointed.
It's a very fun game. There's not a whole lot of ads either, which is nice cause most mobile games just bombard you with ads. but sometimes, when I'm moving my characters, he'll just get stuck moving that direction, which has been the cause of quite a few deaths, so that's something pretty important they should fix
Good time killer, no ads. There is a satisfying progression aspect to combining and leveling up your equipment/weapons over time. There are plenty of ways to progress without needing to spend money on in-app purchases, although I'm sure spending money would help. My one critique is that the mission game play gets repetitive and often takes too long (as much as 30 minutes). The enemies mostly just swarm you and the maps are big empty spaces. Adding a little more variety would be great.
So far it's a good game, good time killer and very grindy. It will take time to get upgraded or red gears, also if you're stuck just idle for coins and gears to upgrade. So far my only issue is the "abnormal connection issue" and the annoying "Connecting" pop up or connection lost. It happens almost all of the time and sometimes my upgrades get rerolled and the ad reward that will not be given because of it. I also have this missions that won't change or progress which must be a bug.
I see FAR too many complaints about power gaps and levels getting too hard too quickly. All it takes is a little bit of grinding, and you can get through the level, and you can expect that things will be hard. My biggest complaint would be that some events are much more loot-heavy than others, and some events give little to no incentive to play the game for the event. The anniversary event was understandably loot-heavy, but making your own party then not inviting anyone would give WAY too much
Fun game, but lots of repetition and click rewards... I paid to have ads removed so my experience may be different. So far it's been a fun game, at least day 7 in a row for me. Logging in and spending 15 minutes absolutely wailing on zombies is a lot of fun. I like trying new builds and items as they're unlocked. It can be a challenge if you don't get the items you are used to running.
The game is really fun and a great time waster, love playing it on long trips. There aren't any annoying ads either, you can play completely free with no real hindrance. 10/10 on those aspects. The gameplay does get a little repetitive after a while because you level up all the weapons really quickly, which could easily be solved by adding like a dozen new ones every so often. Get creative with em and go wild to get some strong variety.
Fun game. I do have an issue with the game crashing when trying to open the game after a recent session. The only workaround I found was having to force stop and clear the cache. Other than that it's a fun game and practically has no ads apart from the usual watch ad; get free coins/gems/keys etc. If there's ever a fix for the issue I have. I'll definitely change it to 5*
Great game, I really enjoy it and it is a great time killer. I love the new technology you can unlock and I appreciate all the daily rewards. However there are a few problems. No parts of the game is online so I don't understand why I would need an internet connection to do most things, (although adding a multiplayer game mode would be awesome.) And I feel the game needs extra of just everything, a few more enemies, weapons, and bosses would be nice to see. Other than that it's a super fun game!
Overall game is rather fun. A little ad heavy, which takes a bit away from the experience but not as bad as others. The issue I have with this game is it requires a constant internet connection to play. Not just for ad viewing, every aspect requires it making the game completely unplayable if your in an area with poor reception. Edit to reply to developer: That simply isn't 0 at all. Data can be stored on the device and sync at a later time. It's only needed for purchases and ad viewing.
Great game, although they did add maybe too many optional modes and in app purchases, it at least has no ads. The problem is that recently it has begun constantly asking me to sign in to a Google play games account, and not working when I attempt to do so. Before it only asked once on startup, but now it's completely unplayable with constant popups.
It's alright. I personally find it a bit repetitive with little reward. I can't seem to find anyone active on clans nor was my own ever joined making it impossible to do anything with a clan. I found it a bit inappropriate to be spammed with "deals" when I opened the game every time. not quite sure who would spend money on this type of thing but it's just greed when you have packs for fifty dollars. not a fan of seeing that stuff is all.
Good game. It’s a decent challenge to complete levels once you get to the first 6-7 levels. You will be challenged. Skill and luck is needed to complete them. I’d give it 5 stars if the “refresh” option on leveling gave you 3 brand new skill options. It’s annoying how often the refresh only gives 1 new option. If I refresh it’s because I don’t want any of the 3 available. They should remove those 3 from the algorithm and give 3 new ones. I’ve spent roughly $20 over the last 2 weeks because this is a good game that I enjoy. It’s frustrating to be stuck on a level because the RNG won’t give me what I need to beat it. There’s challenging… but then there’s also pay to win. Unfortunately by the time you hit stage 10… you’ll either need to pay larger amounts or just wait daily for enough exp/items to clear harder levels. And there are currently 40 levels. In some ways that’s ok for the longevity of the game. But for people like me that are ok spending some $ on a game… it gets annoying when you drop several dollars and still can’t beat a level. I’ve been on lvl 10 for 2 days now… the daily refresh of rewards doesn’t seem like I’ll beat it today either. Daily progression per level would be ideal. Since there are 40 levels at this point. More value for $ spent and a better RNG system on re-rolls would make this a 4 star, if not 5 star game. Hello dear player, thank you for your feedback, we will work hard to optimize the update. Subsequent games will optimize the balance and improve the game experience. Thank you for your support. Please enjoy our games.Have a nice day.
Fun at first, then realized you must PAY to progress further than a certain strength. You won't get the materials you need to upgrade unless you buy them. The mini games are setup so you cannot win the items you need to upgrade unless you purchase enough turns to win the prize. Besides being forced to buy items the game is extremely repetitive.
This is one of my favorite games ever, as I love the mechanics and the special events and such. However, what pains me is that I have an account (bound with my Habby ID email) that I have grinded on. I now have a new phone, and now I can't login to that account. Great game, but so sad there aren't any accounts that you can transfer devices with. :(
