I plan on updating my reviews from time to time. 1st off ToF is a Fantastic game and a lot of fun. I started playing ToF because I was sick off genshin not finding value in what players want. I been playing around 2 years now I think and it's alot of fun, sure ToF has its issues like no open world dark crystals since asperia, but all games have some issues. I'm most glad they focus on the female wanderer unlike genshin. I was excited about PS release, but PS version is very glitchy. GREAT GAME!!

Few bugs. And the most engaging phone game I've ever played. It is an absolutely huge open world. I have to say my only gripe is the gameplay can get confusing sometimes given the huge scope of the maps. I have gotten confused as to where exactly it is that new quests are sending me and how to get there. Other than that the rest of the game is amazing to play. Super addictive. The weapons are not too hard to get if you are a mostly free to play gamer as I have to be. There is just so much to do.

I Love this game I cannot even begin to describe it. The storyline is endearing and overall fun to play. Some of the game designs and later areas are some of the most GORGEOUS places I've seen in a game. The game had issues at launch (and don't get me wrong, still does) but it has come so far from Day 1 (as a day 1 player; very casually.) If you are thinking about trying it or picking it up again, I would certainly give it a go.

Underrated game design. It's a gacha open world, but you pull for characters who come with their signature weapon. Your protagonist's looks can be fully customized, and it doesn't matter who you play as because any character can equip any of the weapons you own in a 3-weapon loadout. Most games like this have you pull for characters and their weapons separately, and then 1 character only uses 1 type of weapon. Only critique is the UI feeling cluttered for phones so best to play on tablet or PC.

Coming from an endgame genshin player, when tower of fantasy came out I really did expect a rip off of Genshin Impact. However I was disproven. Instead I fell in love with the game and practically dropped genshin, what most players don’t understand is that there’s more than one RPG game (other than genshin). And I am forced to admit I was within that bubble before I tried out tower of fantasy. I like the combat system, I love the characters, and I am in love with the map. I enjoy the idea of an open map with its many other additions like running into people and hunting down bosses. Tower of fantasy takes a lot of teamwork and that’s what I like about it, I’ve made quite good friends so far and have enjoyed every minute of gameplay. Tower of fantasy isn’t stingy with in-game currency. There’s bugs like all games but those can be fixed with time. I am excited to see where this game goes, I’m now nearing lvl 50, and the game is well worth your while. I would recommend anyone to try it, it has not fried my phone unlike other users complaints. And it’s not that glitchy, though when all players are spamming bursts (roughly 8 players at a time) then yeah, it gets hectic. Tower of fantasy is my new favorite game, I hope others check it out because it really does take the cake for me. :)

The game is great. The story is great. The designs look amazing. The end game content is fun. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because of the pvp system. It would be a lot more fun if they took away the jet pack relic. Every pvp match I've gone into, the player I'm put against almost always has one and all they do is either draw out the match by constantly hovering or attacking from where I can't reach them. I want be able to fight the player, not sit there waiting for them to fall.

As far as mobile games go this is one of the best. This sort of gameplay doesn't work at all on phones, but they made the game so easy from beginning to end that you don't even need a proper control scheme to play. Not to mention it has hundreds of hours of fun, if with a completely nonsensical and disjointed storyline. Gameplay is this game's focus.

I originally had a 1 star review for this game due to the transfer issue and completely losing my old account, I am still bummed about that BUT I wanted to give it a shot and see if it was still a slow game and I have to say it is not even close to how slow and monotonous ToF was before. In one day I managed to get to level 50 and get a bunch of rewards and some new weapons. Losing legacy accounts hurt but I was happy to give it another shot and pleasantly surprised with how it feels now.

Overall there’s plenty to like here but let’s just address the elephant in the room right off the bat.. it’s almost the exact same game as Genshin. The combat is a little flashier but it’s also not as fluid and at times can be clunky. The graphics are a little better in places but I’m running this on an iPhone 13 pro max and have frame rate dips as well as stuttering on the UHD at 45 fps more often than I would like. The Verdict - While overall a really good game if you’ve already sunk hundreds of hours in Genshin then this will be like just starting over.. that being said, for those of you out there that have yet to play Genshin Impact then this game will definitely be a 5 star experience. Best advice I can give personally is to not worry too much about trying to spend a bunch of money on the gatcha. With unlimited rerolls do your homework, find out which of the summons you really want and re-roll till you get it. It takes about 15 mins (give or take) to re-roll so overall that’s not so bad. The only reason this didn’t get 5 stars from is because it’s basically the same game with a different look but that doesn’t mean it’s not a great game. Good luck all!

For me coming from genshin, I don’t think it is going to overtake genshin. The characters aren’t loving and as rememberable as genshin’s characters. The fighting system to me is clunky and could use some work. It just feels like I’m spamming buttons and then switching to a different weapon and doing the same thing. I don’t know what i’m doing. Ive played honkai like 2 or 3 times and I can tell you Honkai’s fighting is more smooth and satisfying than tof. If they should make changes it would probably add reactions whether weapon reactions like shatter or elemental reactions. Or maybe add combos, like there higher the your combo the higher the damage multiplier However a thing that this game does good is the gacha system and its generous free pulls. I got 3 SSR’s in 2 days. The story isn’t bad but it’s not as good as genshins. World exploration is kind of a pain especially since their aren’t enough teleport waypoints. Its also kind of annoying how all the chests are like high up and it forces you to use your jetpack and like the cooldown is like 90 something seconds. The stamina system is not bad but could be way better as climbing 2 feet uses all of your stamina. The energy system is confusing. For genshin, resin is simple, you what to spend your resin on. For tof I don’t know what to use my energy for cause they just shove everything in your face all at once.

coming from genshin impact, i am so tired of the constant comparison to genshin. it's an okay game packed full of incoherent lore & confusing information, and its style plucked right from Breath of the Wild. it's good, but it isn't the best, and the genshin supremacy is tired. tower of fantasy is a VERY fun game that has a compelling main story that actually makes you want to play it rather than avoid it like most, the characters ARE lovable and the connection between the MC and them feels real, and is actually shown in scenes and not left to be interpreted by fans. the open world is stunning and so much fun, the character customization is INCREDIBLE and you can keep editing after you start which i think is amazing! constant rewards, more opportunities for pulls unlike MANY gacha games out there right now, and GENUINELY FTP (free-to-play). it's the best gacha game for me right now. the character pulls are really fun too, they're all unique and you get a real chance at collecting them without needing to open your wallet. it's so much fun and i wish people would stop comparing and just enjoy the games for their individual personalities!!! please play so i can actually make friends on here :) give it a chance. the only thing i will complain about is the crashing. every vault crashes, every event. i lose all my progress. if you want ppl to participate in these events & unlock towers, at least make them work. We appreciate the time you took to share your feedback with us. We will do our best to improve this part of the game and make sure you can enjoy this game as well!

It's ok, I think it's really similar to some other games which kinda makes the content seem repetitive and unoriginal but there are some nice features. The character customization is very cool, I like having an MC we can freely customize however one issue I see with the customization is the skin tones. There's not much range? They're pretty much all very pale with the exception of a few but even the darker tones are grey looking which is weird, please add some more and ones that aren't grey.

Pre-registered for this game. Started to enjoy the gameplay, customizations and storyline, however upon reaching Ruins-A the game freezes and shuts my phone down. After the first mob fight there's a wall you have to explode, in order to continue, and that's where it freezes. Playing on Mobile. Will change rating to 5 starts once I can pass that point, this truly is a very good game so far! Edit: I am on the NA-Sol III Server of that matters

Mostly a lot of fun. Some bugs, but those are mostly inconsequential. However, having a boss reset even while still within the boundaries of the arena you fight it in IS THE SINGLE MOST ANNOYING THING I'VE SEEN IN ANY GAME EVER. Oh, you and your team have spent 20 minutes whittling down the boss health? Well too bad! You have to start over for no apparent reason. OBNOXIOUS. I'm willing to put up with most bugs, glitches, etc. But waste my time like this and I'll be finding another game to play.

I have been a day 1 global player. I really enjoy the gameplay and multiplayer aspect of it. I normally play on PC, but this review is for the mobile version. My only frustration is EVERY time I have to update it on my phone, I have to delete apps to make space for it. Devs, can you please make it possible where I don't have to do that every time? It's annoying to delete apps, update ToF, then reinstall the apps I had to delete.

I was loving the game so far. I had reached level 21 and had a lot of progress. That was until this morning when I log in and all my progress is gone. I have tried every log in to check whether I logged in wrong, and nope. I chose the right account. I just had my progress deleted. I decided after that point to delete the game as losing that much progress (which took days of grinding might I add) in 2 minutes is insane. If you want to keep your progress. Don't get this game.

Tower of fantasy desperately needs proper mobile optimization. Even with a high end phone (s24 ultra) it regularly crashes and glitches out. I've been playing since it launched on global and for the longest i wished that issue would have been fixed. pvp is still a cheese show so I don't even play that anymore. but other than that I still think it's a good game with plenty potential. Tof changed publishers recently and they need to get to optimizing the game. Raids are still laggy messes.

A genshin clone. You play as a sibling of your choice and get separated from the other then explore a world helping it's inhabitants and fix their problems. One of the main characters is literally lumine. And I believe they've straight up copied some animations and game mechanics. But there's black and gold nucleuses everywhere (used to pull) and I like playing as my created character. And they've given out so much free stuff so I'm gonna keep playing it for the meantime. I just won't spend $$

Edit: Despite doing the transfer back in feb, I still ended up losing my 4 saves. It did save one but I dont even touch it anymore so yeah. I'm fine with restarting I just hope you guys could at least compensate me. The last save I had before quitting had good ssr weapons and I just wish you guys could at least give me back one of those and if not just pulls either way. Game became laggier than before so yeah...

First of all, just like in my other reviews, I’m going to try and make this as short as possible and simply explain that this game, like many of the other recent, massive, open-world games, is absolutely brilliant, but Towers of Fantasy, nonetheless boasts its pros and cons. First of all, 12 gb of storage demand should be the first evidential warning that signifies how Tower of Fantasy will encounter lag, crashing, and loading issues, not because the game isn’t developed properly, but because mobile devices can NOT manipulate the thousands of assets in a game like this alongside explicit graphics and dialogue without hiccups because mobile devices aren’t developed like PCs where you have several intricate processors and gizmos dedicated to carrying out hundreds of thousands of different assets at once. In fact, just because Tower of Fantasy runs on mobile doesn’t mean it will always WORK on mobile and I’ve tested this game on both my iPad Pro and iPhone 13 to prove it; both of those devices have over 100 gb of free space left and after playing Tower of Fantasy on mobile and on my PC, the sheer # of crashes and failures on mobile vs the seamless gameplay on pc obviously clarified the issue. That being stated, Tower of Fantasy is absolutely impressive and definitely worth playing, but evidently, with all its demands, best suited to the realm of pc gaming rather than mobile. We appreciate the time you took to share your feedback with us. Would you mind contacting Support from within your game and share more information with us? Your feedback will help us improve the game and we want to make sure you can enjoy this game as well!

I tried really hard to like Tower of Fantasy. Initially it left a good impression with great combat. But after playing through most of the story and encountering numerous issues such as lag, poor controls, inconsistent voice acting despite having some good voice actors, voicelines not matching the text, sometimes having no voice at all during the same dialogue and even a few developer notes left in some of the text boxes. There are too many currencies in the game as well. Very confusing.

This game looked so fun, but once it downloaded onto my note10 phone, things went downhill. Just to get the game up took forever, loading it took well over an hour and several attempts. Once I did finally get into the game, I got to picking my character, but it froze kinda and started over, saying connection timed out. I went through the tutorial and less than 30 seconds of running around and fighting monsters, I got stuck. I left the game for a while. Now I can't get in at all. Overall not good

The game when it works is great. But level infinite you have to fix this crashing issue. I shouldn't have to attempt to load the game 36 times crashing each time for it to finally load in and then I go into a menu and it crashes. You have a great game with good combat a good story and a very free to play friendly loot, but fix this crashing issue and it would be a 5 star.

The game is still new, but it's full of small annoying bugs like when climbing, there is an angle where the game can't decide whether you walk or climb on it so you do neither and just slide down to the bottom. And this bad angle is everywhere. Other problems is the game glitched and didn't give me the free clotho supply, filled out a very annoying ticket and still no response. They also screwed up a banner and closed it 10 days early, they fixed right away, but that's still a huge mistake

I played this game on my PlayStation 5 and halfway through the cut scene, the game glitched out. Set me underneath the map, put me at the halfway point, surrounded by enemies, then I had to make my character walk across the sea to get back to the starting zone only to be met with more cutscenes, it took me 5 hours just to try to play the game and I'm afraid it was disappointing. This game feels like a half-created crashed-out glitch and I strongly recommend you don't install it anywhere.

Haven't played this game in ages. Thought about picking it up again only to realize my character was no longer there after logging in with the email I used. Looked it up only to notice there was some big data transfer that occured and ended in April. Really? Never got an email about anything like that. No way am I gonna play this again after all my stuff has been wiped. Ridiculous.

I would love to continue playing this game but I can no longer play it. It crashes within 5 mins after opening. trying to play it feels like pulling teeth it is continuously glitchy and at some points even when not touching the controller it will continue to run right off cliffs and take you out. If these bugs were fixed I would love to keep playing but as for now it just does not work. I tried playing the game on a different device and have run into the same problem.

Dear devs, with the kindest of hearts I just cant understand this... How is it that every single time I teleport the game crashes? The game feels like some Aplha/Beta version of a game, the ammount of lag is rather unusual. I can excuse the many many many problems but the ammount of crashes just did it for me. I Would have assumed a game that has been around for a couple of years now would have have at least polished the beginning of the game.

Decided to hop on for the first time in a while.... and found out that my account, and all the griding and money I put into it, was gone. When something like this happens, all it makes me want to do is uninstall the game and never return. Whoever didn't get the player database in the sale should be fired, because all this does is tank your reviews from players that want to return, but cannot. Edit: Followed up with support, since I missed the transfer window that account information is gone.

Game was great until my account was fully deleted when they changed developers. I didn't get a single email about the account transfer. They should have sent emails. edit: while I appreciate the response to my review, I only became aware of that literally earlier today, never got a notification before today outside of the game, and I stopped playing the game for a while before the transfers were even announced. it should have been sent to emails.
