Sleeper Fantasy Sports

App is alright. Not sure where some of the news comes from, or the hot takes. Seems like anyone can just post garbage? The new update seems to make things better but they added some extra garbage that wasn't needed. Surprised to see they ditched the mascots because I'm sure some people paid money for those. Still, app freezes from overload of users works fine unless there's a game on. Can we get the app on Amazon Fire Tablets? App isn't even available in the Amazon app store.

Great UI and features, but they randomly suspended my access to play and withdraw my funds, and support wouldn't respond for over a day, essentially stealing my money. -edit- after about a week, I was finally given access back to my account. They apparently wanted additional information, SSN, etc, however there was no reason given as why this was necessary now, after using it for months, and could definitely have been handled much more quickly and logically.

Sleeper used to be the best Fantasy Football app for running your league. This season the quality of the product has declined significantly. It seems that they are more focused on making it a sports betting app and the regular fantasy section has been largely forgotten. Lots of glitches have me looking into other options for next year. Losing the mascots was also a big turn off. I know it wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but it was a unique part of Sleeper and it's disappointing they removed it.

Very detailed player stats from all their previous games in the current season. It also tells you what the community is picking for each prop (by percentage). App is also social so u can chat with others on a game's live feed. What I don't like is the lack of insurance and the O/U pick multipliers. A lot of them are low which means you have to make even more picks or put much more $ on the line to get a decent payout. However they do offer a multitude of prop bet types (asts, 1q asts, etc).

Great app overall but please bring back the ability to purchase cookies for mascots. Even if they're disabled by default and the majority of people don't use them, it doesn't make sense to me why you'd disable the ability for those who do like them to purchase more. If anything it's just more monetization you can have in the background even if it's not a primary focus of the app anymore

Chat is not blazing fast like the app claims. It often freezes up on me when I pull up chat and sometimes I can't even react to a post. If I press down on the comment nothing happens. The app itself takes forever to load and has a bunch of weird quirks like can't upload a profile picture (works for some people in our league doesn't work for others), it shows weird things in matchups, like someone projected to get more points only having a 25% chance.

This app was great when we started using it last year for our dynasty team, this year it's been an absolute mess. I can't click anything in the app without it crashing, trades fail to go through, notifications send randomly, players don't appear on rosters, etc. I'm not sure what happened, but hopefully these problems will be addressed. So far, they have not.

When it works, it's one of the best fantasy football platforms around. Unfortunately, it's hit or miss when it works. Some days you get notifications, some days you don't. Some days your news tab works, some days it freezes and shows you nothing. Some days your game scores show up correctly, some days every player name/score shows up twice. If they ever work out all the bugs, it'd be five stars. Edit: 11/20/21: Seems much more stable with the new build, the news page works again too.

The app kept freezing during our draft and I would have to constantly kill and reopen to see if my turn was up. This weekend, none of the other matches will load, so I cannot see scores of other teams in my league. Was so easy to use last year and this year is just overloaded. Too much information at once. Never know which information screen (player info, game info, player-game stats) you're going to get when you tap.

After clearing cache and storage, the app works much better without lag, freezing, crashing, etc. It would have been nice for that to have been communicated to users of the app who have had problems. The interface is still somewhat all over the place in terms of figuring out how to get to relevant information, but it is manageable and can figure out over time. As a side note, swipe-based screen navigation is a little frustrating on pixel (or other) devices if you're not very careful.

Edit: the more I use this app, the more it frustrates me. It seems to take forever to load and always goes to the wrong place. If I click on a news push (which doesn't allow me to read the whole message without opening the app) it will go to my team instead. It takes so long to load that my phone goes dark and locks. It's not good for info and it's horrible for finding which players are available. I've taken to using the website instead. Won't play in their league's again.

Love this app and service! Main complaints are, as soon as I joined a 3rd league, EVERYTHING slowed way down and I stopped getting notifications for some reason. I have a work iPhone and it's much smoother over on iOS, but I'd love to not have to rely on that. Also, android player portraits haven't been updated in a loooooong time for some reason? Only rookies. All the iOS player portraits are up to date. Looks odd.

Sleeper Team - You folks are on to something great, but your platform runs a game that people play for a lot of money. Stop with the mascots and the flash and focus on making sure it works 100% of the time on all reasonable devices. It is extremely disappointing to see all this fluff when the app is still a nightmare in the web version, doesnt always update live scores correctly, is wrong about waiver dates, etc. You folks can WIN but you have to focus on what's important.

Difficult to find where to do mock drafts and when you do find out where to do them you cannot edit them. You click on the cog wheel/settings and then click edit draft and nothing ever happens. I have downloaded the app multiple times and unistalled multiple times. App is laggy everywhere and half the buttons dont work. Whatever they changed from last year was a terrible decision and they need to fix it. Garbage interface and experience. Not worth the hastle.

One of the most glitchy apps on the market. Constantly have to shut down and reset, trying to click between leagues requires multiple attempts. chat doesn't work half the time. trying to move between trades and roster is nearly impossible. for such a popular, highly trafficked app, it's pretty rough.

Love this app for fantasy!! I'm currently in 3 leagues through Sleeper and they are all really fun! Ny only gripe is some weird bug where I can't see any of the images and videos attached to posts on the news feed. Its really annoying and I hope they can try to fix this soon. Aside from that, love the app!

Like others have mentioned, Sleeper was fine before, but lately has been extremely laggy, nearly unusable. Any action requires waiting several seconds to register, if it doesn't crash first. Can't even complete a trade without it crashing when switching between recent apps. Clearing cache and Force Stopping seems to fix it temporarily but it's back to Lag City shortly after. The dev should address this ASAP. It's unacceptable especially when money is involved.

At first, I was pleased with this app, especially with ease of use. I finally won on my picks and tried to cash out, but no matter how many times I tried, it's the same damn BS " we can't verify you"!!! They verified me to take all my damn deposits, so why can't they pay my winnings!!! My info has not changed (drivers license, social security #, address, debit card, all the damn same!!! The worst part is there is no phone number for any customer service!!! Be wary of this app!!

It glitches a lot. I'm no longer able to upload videos (and sometimes photos) into the group chat. I've mentioned this several times and it still hasn't been fixed. I have to leave the app sometimes because it doesn't do anything when you click on things. Patience is needed. The 4 stars is for what the app is able to do for fantasy leagues.

Having used sleeper for a few months now, I have to say it’s an amazing app. The news updates are super handy, the in app league chat is amazing since you don’t have to use another app for talking to league mates, the amount of options available in terms of league settings is amazing and just makes playing on this app more fun than basically every other. It does have a few issues that seem to be present on every app like scores maybe taking a bit to catch up, but it is never really a big issue. The only change I would like to see that would make this app worth five stars is a quality of life one. When viewing your team on the app I don’t see any way to get all (if not most) of your team and their scores in your matchup on the screen at once. Although I do sometimes enjoy the added info and the field position indicator under the player names, I would really love a compressed view where it would hide/get rid of the on field indicator and possibly their game stats for the week. Sometimes I just want to log in and see how all my players did compared to my opponents without having to scroll and dig for certain players. Maybe there could be a button or something similar that says “more matchup info” that would toggle this off and on. Other than this, I don’t really have any complaints about the app and think it is probably the best app for fantasy football currently available. We made changes to score / pbp speed a while back so hopefully everything is fast for you now. We've profiled it against other apps to make sure Sleeper updates as fast or faster.

I’ve been a fantasy manager for 20 years on just about every platform but this one is by far the best because it makes the league more communal compared to others. It makes the games more fun and there are 2x-3x more trades in my Sleeper leagues than any of the others. The AI mock drafts are pretty handy too. The one drawback is you’ll probably have to do your research elsewhere since they aren’t directly connected to any of the large sports platforms like ESPN, CBS, NFL, or Yahoo are, but if you use those as your primary source for articles then I’ve just identified why you haven’t won your league in awhile. Minor fix suggestion: in the mock drafts for Dynasty, we have the option to set the player pool to Rookies only, or the entire player pool (including players already on teams). It would be nice if there was an option for “all available” which would include the Rookies and only the players who remain on the waiver wire. Weird request, but some dynasties lock the waivers in the off season until after the draft, and include those vets in the draft pool.

I want to start by saying that I think this app is great and my favorite fantasy app to use. Having said that though there are some things that make it needlessly complicated and could make things even better 1) Filling Leagues - I get the idea behind why there isn’t really just like a list of public leagues to join, but there needs to be. The idea being that they want leagues to be filled by people and their friends but this just isn’t always possible. There’s forums to post a league in but your post falls back and you need to repost frequently. There needs to just be a list of public leagues that people can sort by league type, paid or free, size, etc. 2) League Formats - There should be presets for the different types of leagues. There should be presets for redraft, dynasty, best ball and guillotine. It can get kind of complicated especially for first time commissioners to set this stuff up and presets for these league types would be great. 3) Payment - They probably don’t want to deal with it but there should be an in-app payment system for paid leagues. Currently outside sites like leaguesafe need to be used which is ok but doing it straight through the app again cuts down on complexity for first time commissioners.

Every year I do a league in every major platform. NFL, ESPN, Yahoo!, CBS, and Fantrax are all sites in which I am in a league in. Up until 2 years ago Yahoo! was hands down the absolute BEST fantasy site/app out there I knew of. Everything I needed was there and it was a night and day difference between its competitors. That is however, until I discovered Sleeper. I don’t know how I stumbled upon the app 2 years ago. I have been blown away ever since. This app not only gives me the most up to date info on everything fantasy football wise it also has the cleanest and most crisp feel to it. Everything is so smooth with the app and the details that they go into on the matchup screen and my team page are second to none. Using other sites and apps almost makes me feel like I’m using a computer from 1997 in how much more cluttered they are and not as up to date. Honestly making the move and bringing my league to be on the sleeper app has to be the best decision I have made fantasy football wise! We will make sure we do everything we can to validate your move to Sleeper :)

So far my experience with the app hasn’t started fully tell the actually season starts. I’m loving everything about it from the drafting to the amount of setting you can costumes. I just have a few suggestions that would possible be a game changer for the LCS point of view 1) there should be teams you pick (for extra points) like if the team wins or if the team losses or how many towers the team gets, ETC there a lot opportunity wise you could do with adding teams like how you choose a teams defense in Fantasy NFL. 2) shouldn’t rift Herald (Shelly) be worth some points getting? As well as getting multiple barons possible? 3) A bench feature would be nice where you could choice up to 2-3 anyrole/ any team just there in case you need to swap a player before it starts or something or if you just want to hold a player to see how he dose for a few games. 4) this ones a long shot but worth a suggestion Would it be possible to combine the LCS/LEC together for more player selection? I understand why you split the two up, But for people who have 10 or more people joining there draft just thought it should be a setting thing you could do. (Of corse there’s other leagues you could add if necessary as well like the LCK or LPL, ETC) Over all the app look good in my eyes just like to see more opportunities to really dive deep into the LCS fantasy. Thank you for this app I’ve been needing this!
