Stupid app. In the store, go to app - surprise surprise- you are logged out. Sign in you have to enter a code sent to your email. I am in the store I have to use my phone. To get the code you leave app, you leave app you have to start the whole sign in code thing again. Its a vicious cycle to piss off customers. And you get notifications, but when you click them it takes you to home page not the notification item. Guess I really didn't wanna know.
Until yesterday this app was working great. I was trying to open app while at the store to get to my shopping list and the app closed. I tried signing in 5 times with no luck. What is going on with this app? Very frustrating! I lost my list and tried to remember everything by walking up and down each aisle, but still didn't get everything. PLEASE FIX THIS APP PRONTO!!!
Nothing is ever free. Including stuff supposedly on sale, now. Angry we have to get this app to get any real discounts in the store. So there is a discounted price, and a total of how much "you would have saved" - which was the reason you picked up anything on sale in the first place. So basically nothing is on sale unless you give Schnucks access to your phone, contacts, location, photos, your email. Really? Sell our info for discounts. Great. Other places to shop, in town. Forget privacy.
App redirects to a browser for a login. Not sure why. Wouldn't be a problem if it would let you log in, but it doesn't do that either. After you enter your info it redirects to a page with a link that goes nowhere. So you can't access your account at all to see rewards or clip digital coupons. Not sure what the point of that is. An app that doesn't let you log in is pretty useless.
Coupons keep failing to load, and some won't clip and save... fix this issues. I literally just downloaded this app today at the store, and its completely useless... I'd give less than one star, but that's not an option unfortunately. It's now August 16th and you still haven't fixed the issues with the coupons, big surprise. And you wonder why stores are closing, cause you don't listen to your customers!
Won't let me sign in without a verification code from my email. But when I leave the app to go to my email, the verification page goes away. So I can't sign in to the app unless I have access to a separate computer, which I don't usually have. Especially when I'm already at the store and trying to see my coupons. This two-factor nonsense is getting out of hand.
I downloaded today in the store to take advantage of the digital coupon savings. I could use all the features of the app except downloading the savings. I tried multiple times and reloaded the app twice. Cashier would not apply the coupon even though she could see I was logged in to the app and was getting the error message for coupons. Terrible app and worse customer service. I was told to contact the corporate office wasting even more time. I will be deleting the app and shopping elsewhere.
Terrible app. Started using it because I wanted to go schnucks more for grocery. I've accumulated $14 that's supposed to be redeemable but I am unable to. I've tried scanning, inputting my phone number and checking all the appropriate settings. I've done self checkout and normal checkout and I am still unable to redeem. The coupons on the app also doesn't state all the information you need. I've seen deals for 2 for $4, but it doesn't tell you that they limit it to 4 items only.
I appreciate being able to shop my store from home and knowing in which aisle to find an item. I dislike that the app randomly signs me out, which is tedious and frustrating. Also, sometimes, the item's location listing is too general. Looking for a shrimp product, the app said something general like "seafood" instead of the aisle where it was stored. I had to track down an employee to find it, which is what the app should do. So specific locations for every item would be an improvement.
The app was pretty helpful except some things in the individual departments (bakery, deli, etc) are not as easy to find. But the app changed in the last month or so. It used to show you your most purchased items when you searched but now it does not. This causes unnecessary scrolling to find your actual item if you dont have the brand/style inputted in the search bar.
This app ALWAYS creates so much hassle and wasted time that it is not worth the tiny amount of money that might be saved and trying to navigate a coupon app that barely works is the last thing we should be doing during a pandemic. Schnuck’s should just charge those amounts at checkout just like the other sale items. I don’t think the workers want to be bothered with it: one cashier flat out refused to help when the app froze during log-in and prevented clipping a coupon for $0.60.
i just installed this app. So far, it looks like it's useful. However, one nice addition to this app would be the ability to check gift card balances. Update - as of 6/6/2020 downgraded to two stars - still no ability to check gift card balance. I've never created an account because they require my phone number. Why is that required to create an account? The help section is awful. It's in about the smallest font available, and there is no option to ask a question. There is no Contact Us option.
I gave 2 stars for the flowing reasons: 1.) The weekly ads NEVER load & stays at a white screen. 2.) The Offers section never loads and sits at a rotating circle. 3.) There is no "Sort by Price: Low to High" option. This option can really help during this time of inflation. 4.) Other store apps that I use show a total price at the bottom of the grocery lists that I make. There is no total price for all of my list items making it harder to know how much I've added up. I have to calculate manually
I don't normally write reviews but I saw a lot of negative reviews I'm here regarding the app. I have had zero issues using this app with my Android phone. It is very simple to download and very basic to navigate. I earn money for shopping at a store I already shop at. It seems like every few weeks I have a $4 or $5 off coupon. You can enter your phone number at the register and they can track your points as well. I think before people submit a negative review they should make sure that it's not their own fault the app is not working first. The same thing has happened to me with other apps and it turned out to be my fault. Overall I'm happy with Schnucks and with this app.
The experience on this app is extremely frustrating. First, the "filters" are useless. You can't filter by brand, department, cost, or anything useful. Second, the app constantly tells me Schnucks doesn't have a product that I know for a fact it carries. This is further evidenced by the fact that the "in store" search results often differ from the "curbside pickup" search results. Third, a basic search shows only a small random fraction of that type of item Schnucks carries. Many fixes needed.
I'm currently experiencing a bug with this app. Every time I click on a picture of an item it closes the app softly and when I reopen it, it restarts. I did leave another star though because you guys fixed the double coupon issue in the most corporate way possible. By making them for different sizes.
This app is irritating for two reasons: 1) While in the store using the shopping list, it suddenly displays the soldier saying 'oops something went wrong'. I have to close the app and log back in and that requires an email code. This is *very* irritating in the middle of a shopping trip! 2) I match items to the coupons using the app but at the register the items don't always match the coupon and I pay full price. The app and registers need to use the same source of information!

I'm currently experiencing a bug with this app. Every time I click on a picture of an item it closes the app softly and when I reopen it, it restarts. I did leave another star though because you guys fixed the double coupon issue in the most corporate way possible. By making them for different sizes.
