Features
The Remini - AI Photo Enhancer mobile app has several features that make it a standout tool for enhancing photos. One of the key features is its AI-powered technology, which uses advanced algorithms to automatically enhance the quality of photos. This includes improving details, colors, and textures to make the images appear sharper and more vibrant. The app also offers various filters and effects that can be applied to photos to further enhance their appearance. Additionally, Remini allows users to restore old and damaged photos, making it a versatile tool for both modern and vintage images.
Another notable feature of Remini is its user-friendly interface, which makes it easy for anyone to use, regardless of their level of expertise. The app also offers fast processing times, allowing users to quickly enhance and edit their photos without having to wait for extended periods. Furthermore, Remini supports high-resolution output, ensuring that the enhanced photos maintain their quality when saved or shared.
How to Use
Using Remini - AI Photo Enhancer is a simple and straightforward process. To begin, users can upload their desired photo into the app's interface. From there, they can choose from a variety of enhancement options, such as automatic AI enhancement, filters, and effects. Once the desired enhancements have been applied, users can save or share the improved photo directly from the app. The intuitive layout and navigation make it easy for users to access the app's features and make adjustments as needed.
Pros & Cons
Remini - AI Photo Enhancer has several advantages that make it a valuable tool for photo editing. One of the main pros is its AI-powered enhancement, which can significantly improve the quality of photos with minimal effort from the user. The app's user-friendly interface and fast processing times are also major advantages, making it convenient to use. Additionally, the ability to restore old and damaged photos adds to the app's versatility and usefulness.
On the other hand, one potential downside of Remini is that some users may prefer more manual control over the enhancement process, which the app's automatic AI technology may not provide. Additionally, while the app is generally effective, the results of the enhancements may vary depending on the quality of the original photo and the specific adjustments made. Overall, however, Remini - AI Photo Enhancer offers a range of valuable features that make it a powerful tool for improving and restoring photos.

I've got to say, the Remini app is a total game-changer! It's an AI-powered photo editing tool that can take your low-quality photos and turn them into stunning, high-definition images. I've seen it work its magic on old, blurry photos, and the results are nothing short of amazing ¹. One of the standout features of Remini is its ability to enhance faces in photos. It can take a blurry, low-resolution image and turn it into a sharp, detailed portrait.
Take what I am about to say from somebody (myself) who has been using a $100 computer application to upscale/enhance my photos for over a year now. This app, which does the exact same thing for free (or for only 5% of the aforementioned program’s price if you would like to be ad-free), blows that program out of the water. This app is absolutely incredible, to the point where I barely even use that other computer program anymore (if ever). Upload your image, tap one single button, and your photo is enhanced to perfection. I, personally, do not have a single complaint. Please give this app a try if you haven’t already, it really does work, and does so very well. It has yet to disappoint me once. I truly hope the developers consider making this available as a desktop application as well. If they did, that would be absolutely amazing.
Overall a darn good app. A couple of snags I’ve hit: the app is not good at dealing with 3/4 views, or someone who is looking away from the camera. The app seems to want to make eyes looking forward. Which is fine, except when the face is not looking forward. I got some pretty gruesome results and finally accepted that there would be some old photos that I would not be able to use here. There are many more I can, so it’s not the end of the world, but it’s sad to have to leave out some of your favorites because body or face positioning aren’t right. Also: my dudes. Not everyone is white. All the eyes are tinted a very pale blue or green and my Chinese grandpa has blondish hair! My dark-skinned, multiracial father does not have light eyes and never did - even when he was little
I was thinking for a long time about getting a photo enhancing app until poof, Remini shows up as the first and most popular result. It definitely helps enhance your photos, but it makes you look like you’re wearing makeup. I know that for some people, that is exactly what they want, but I sometimes like to have my face look natural. If you could make an option so you can choose whether to make your face look like that or not, that would be amazing. Another problem that I have faced is that you have to watch an ad after pushing every single button if you don’t have the premium membership. Could you make it so you have to watch an ad like once every other photo. And the final thing is that it only works on pictures of people. I know technology is still improving and I am sure that your team is working very hard, but it would be nice if you could enhance a photo of your old house for instance. Thank you for reading this message and I hope you will consider changing the following things I have listed. Overall still a good app! Hi! We’re happy to hear that you’re satisfied with Remini. Thank you for your constructive and insightful feedback: we’ll treasure your precious suggestions for our future improvements—our users’ opinion is crucial for us to make sure we're heading in the right direction. Any other ideas are warmly welcomed: why don’t you drop us an email at [email protected]? We’d be more than happy to hear from you!
Dear Developers, I have 2 iPhones. One iPhone is updated to your latest app version but you no longer have all the other features that I loved- face animation, video enhancer, portrait mode , painting mode etc. That was a great version of your incredible app which you ruined. The extra widgets in your app were incredible. By upgrading your app you lost me as an artist. On this iPhone still running IOS 14. iPhone 11 Pro Max I enjoyed all those extra features- face animation, video enhancement , different painting and camera features and cartoon until today when I tried to use the old version for video enhance ad there are no video enhancing apps quite like yours, I get a message from your old app, a notification that I must upgrade. I refuse!!!! How can I remove the notification that appears when I launch your app to upgrade to your latest version which of course removes all the features that I love. Please answer me. Hi! We're sorry to hear that Remini's latest version doesn't live up to your expectations. We decided to revamp the app from the ground up, aiming at taking our Enhance feature to the next level. This is why some options are no longer available. This doesn't mean new functionalities won't be launched in the future, though! We're constantly at work to improve the app and test new features. Stay tuned with the next updates! If you have any questions, you can find us at [email protected].
it's good at enhancing photos, but the ads are annoying. One ad for opening the app, one ad for enhancing, and one ad for saving the picture. Also, I'm very glad they remove the feature where you have to pay to remove their "fixed lighting". I couldn't use the app for a while because they're fixed lighting usually just whitewashed the models put into the program. Like, not even joking. Nothing else would change but their skin color. Good program all being said.
The editing is amazing. I'll say that first. Unless you pay for the ad free version, or the free trial, every single option you click on takes you immediately to a thirty second ad before you can even preview your work. Then when you click the X on the unwanted ad it takes you immediately to the Play Store. Finally, after all the ads of all the dumb games, it shows the preview of whatever option was clicked on. If it's not what you want, click again, and start the ads process again.
I would give this app 5 stars.. HOWEVER, I absolutely HATE that now any time I use the "turn into an illustration" feature on my photos, there is no longer any variety in the images it spits out. They all look like the exact same art style as the "profile picture generator" one, ever since that feature was added. PLEASE bring back all the cute & quirky cartoon styles that are still being shown on the example photos for "turn into an illustration" — it was my favorite part of the app!!!
In the past, when we used to use Remini to edit our photos, just one ad before editing and one ad after editing would appear, and it was good. However, nowadays, we have to watch five or more ads before and after editing, and some of those ads are even one minute long. This has really made me stop using Remini. Just because we are free users doesn't mean we have unlimited time. You have to think about your users' satisfaction as well, not just your own. One ad before and after was acceptable.
The enhancement and filters are some of the best, and I haven't been able to find an app that compares, nor an app that can do both photos and videos, but a $10 weekly subscription to increase the quality of a handful of photos and maybe a short video is ridiculous. I don't care about the dumb ai "turn into a cartoon" or "turn into a doll" features, nor do I care about all the extra filters and what not. I just want to make my camera quality look halfway decent and maybe blur the background. 😭
The app had been great, my go to. But now it's not working. Giving some bs notice about internet connection. My internet connection is great, works for everything else. Tried 3 other devices on different networks and was going to sit through the ads but same thing. Some dumb notice about internet connection. I paid for a subscription, I'd like to be able to use it. Edit to add just tried it without a subscription on same network and data I'm running and it worked fine. Yet I paid for it and can
You people really like that ad revenue huh? 1-2 ads as you start the app, another 1-2 as you click on an image to enhance, and another 1-2 to get the result and download it is alright. No biggie, it's all well and good. But 3-5 ads every time? I know I'm not a paid user but shoving down ads on the users' throat is a bit of an overkill. And the fact that I have to physically tap the X button to continue 3-5 sets of ads just puts more strain on the user. Fix your app!
This used to be so great. Now it doesn't even work. On the rare occasion you don't get the "oops something went wrong" error....you have to watch an ad for even one photo. They used to give you 3 I think? Could be wrong but I know you could use it at least once before they made you watch ads. Craziness. All any one seems to care about is money any more. I am not going to pay for a product I can't even use so....Uninstalled.
The free version used to give you a few ads before and after working on each pic. Now it's so full of ads that are increasingly harder to get passed, that it's not worth my time to keep using it. As for the product itself, it still needs to improve the way it deals with hair, hands and sometimes the eyes. As a Photoshop user, I would merely use Remini to aid myself with some issues but I've never used an image enhanced by Remini in full. I just don't love what it does.
Did the free trial, and now I've been paying way too much weekly and didn't even know it. Every time I try to cancel, it says, "Can't find subscription." I've been emailing for weeks to get the figured out, and of have not heard back, I just keep getting an auto generated text for me to follow a link that does not work. I just want to cancel the subscription. This app is not worth the headache.
WTH? It used to work beautifully. But now, even the "pro" version doesn't actually save the enhanced image! (It *says* it's been saved to the gallery, but it's definitely not). All it does is save a text link. What good is that? Definitely not going to be paying a weekly fee for something that doesn't give me an *actual* jpe image file.
Was good. Not anymore! This app was definitely good for enhancing my photos. But for some reason now, it makes all my photos super bright. Even photos of darkskin, people. Update: I had a plan that allowed me to use both the phone app version as well as the desktop version. When I tried to use the desktop version one day, it told me I needed a business account. Or basically saying if you want to use that portion of Remini now, you have to pay more. LOL, such a joke now and I've found a better.
I HAVE USED THIS APP FOR 7 YRS. I just upgraded my mobile device & had to reinstall the app. IT IS HORRENDOUS NOW. I didn't upgraded the app in my older device because it was working just fine & upgrades aren't always improvements. The app is no longer simple to use. It has steps that, to me, are unnecessary because they're just extra "steps" that were added. I've also used the free version & the ads have been increased 10× what used to be required. I'm will probably cease using it.
I had given it 5☆ years ago, when the app was at its peak. A couple of ads, and it was done. Now sad to say that the number of ads added to edit 1 picture is insane. Up to 5 minutes plus to edit 1 picture, which quality was decreased too. Once the ads start, they don't want to let go. You added too many ads for each edit and ruined this app. The juice is not worth the squeeze.
Used to be great, now it's like every other app. Back when I installed this I was able to enhance photos, edit them, etc.. all as much as I wanted. There were hardly any ads whatsoever. Now though, ever since they added AI edits, they sure are proud of themselves. $9.99 a week paywall for literally every single edit? You're crazy.. this is why people pirate apps.
This feels more like ads with an app rather than an app with ads. The results are decent, sure, but the overwhelming amount of ads makes the experience frustrating. Every click is followed by a wait, and it’s hard to get anything done without paying. If you don’t go premium, prepare to be bombarded.
This used to be a good photo enhancing app where you could watch an ad to enhance a photo. The limited options were even fine. But now? You get stuck in a never-ending ad loop with each ad being over a minute long, and you NEVER actually get to edit a photo. Unless you want to pay $10-$15 A WEEK give this app a hard pass. It is absolutely not worth it. Deleted.
I used to absolutely love this app. The free version while you still had to watch ads, it was only to enhance a photo and then download it. Now I have to watch 3 just to enhance it maybe (sometimes it wont even take you to enhance it... making you watch yet another ad and praying it actuallu takes you there after) with no way of exiting the ad without it taking you to Google play. and when you finally get to the part to enhance it zooms all the way in with no way of zooming out.
I used to really love this app I use it every day to clean up pixels and color correct my artwork. over the past few months, I've been getting a ton of forced ads that aren't associated with any function. I didn't mind watching ads as a payment for an action in the app, but having to watch 5 ads to clean up one picture is ridiculous, especially when we're capped at 5 uses a day. update: now half the ads won't close. I have to close the app, reopen it, and watch another forced ad
This is a first. You sign up for the thing. $5/month ($60/year if you’re counting). Then, in order to get the “”Enhance +”” feature (double quotes because this is so... tacky) you need to pay more money for each “”Pro Card””. It’s never made that clear until you start exploring the app. Apparently the AI gives you several versions of the improved photo so you can pick one. $5 for 5 Pro Cards, $10 for 12, $25 for 30 and so forth. WAY too expansive for what it is. Flimsy browsing among my pictures. It defaults to a camera(??) every time, instead of my photo album. Why on earth would I fix a picture I am taking right now !!!)? I got on the subscription but it’ll be a one month thing. The promise is good, it somewhat delivers on that, but they’re crazy if they think the program is worth this much. To put the final nail in the coffin, the biggest drawback in my opinion is the fact that you’ll end up with a new version of the photo you’re “fixing”. There’s no using the app from within Photos either. In addition to editing the photo, I need to re-add all the information about date and location again. Making this much money, they should probably invest in ways of making this happen. Saving: did I mention that no matter how many times you click on a picture to save it to the camera roll, it’ll say it saved it, only to never show up anywhere?
