total scam - paid into the ISA via bank transfer through the app, money never arrived. they've stopped replying to emails and my bank can't recover the money. reported to the FCA but no action yet.
Decent app, works well without hanging (which is often less common than we would like). Would prefer easier access to the forecasted growth graphs, even though they are hypothetical, they do help plan. Would like the ability to split off a percentage of my isa into different risk investment profiles, so not all money is in the highest risk investment band, which would for me offer more diversification.
The UX is chaotic - options aren't where you expect them to be. Some things are buttons, others sideways slides, others scroll downs... it's messy and not thoroughly thought through 👎🏻 half the performance graphs dont work, for example saying 'not enough information to return data' for one month of performance on an ETF that's been trading for over five years 🙄 and don't get me started on their 'Add funds' functionality. Hate the darn thing. Worst Investment platform I've ever used 👎🏻👎🏻
Everything was easy to set up, no issues with setting up, getting information or withdrawing my money. The bottom line though is that I lost 3% of my money in a year. I appreciate that's a snapshot, these are supposed to be longer term investments etc etc but I would have been better just doing nothing with my money. I've paid fees for absolutely nothing.
App OFTEN doesn't open. When it's working, it's fine, but it doesn't work a lot of the time.
Good app, support and investment principles. Not enough clarity, guidance and info on sale time scales and prices, etc. Sold when in profit. ...well at least I thought I did. They sold the following day when I was down. Slightly misleading and not transparent enough.
Why do I have to open the app twice *every time* I try to use it? It never ever just opens...I always have to open it, close the app and try again for it to work. Also, the UI is so frustrating...I want to be able to see the fluctuations in my ISA value over time on an interactive histogram, so I can see what it was worth, say, last week or last month. You must have the data so why not make it easily avaliable to users on their dashboard?
Great simple app, ive been with money farm for about 3 years now. I've had ups and down throughout these 3 years, but despite all the economic issues happening around us, they've managed to bring me an average of 11% increase. Like all investments, nothing is guaranteed, but invest small and what you can and it will eventually pay off. Company and app recommended.
As a company, Moneyfarm has a good record, But I find the app is often rather slow to load. There are also missing functions, like you cannot delete portfolios without emailing Moneyfarm and while it tells you you can change your risk profile (and directs you to it so I know I am in the right place), it doesn't actually let you change it. 2FA bugged once, it wouldn't initialise at all which prevented me from accessing the app. I had to write to support who deactivated it. Their support is good.
I have previously followed the recommendations from Moneyfarm in my portfolios, but recently decided to make some of my own decisions. It was easy to release money from one portfolio and use it in a self-invest ISA portfolio. The changes were easy, the advice worthwhile and processes straight-forward. If I had had any issues, I am confident that the wealth management team would have quickly helped.
Works well, a range of ETFs on offer, hopefully it would be further expanded
Spending more time on multi steps logging. What a waste
this is not a review of the financial product but the app performance has gone down and down over the last few weeks. taking far too long to update. most of the time my screen has gone back to sleep then I have to unlock again and rinse repeat. not good enough for the fees the service costs.
why is this app so slow or not even working? can you make it work for 5 minutes so I can withdraw everything and never have to open it again? i kept this app and service for 4 years but the number of times it worked poorly is unacceptable for a money managing service. update: after 20 attempts I did manage to login but withdrawal just gives "Ooops, something went wrong". this is such a joke
I like the functions but the app is getting increasingly buggy meaning I can't access my money at times, and Custom Support wasn't helpful.
Easy to use, great products, good returns. The advice online really helpful. Even real helpful human service, which is incredibly rare. Recommended.
app seems very slow to load and not too responsive. the loading icon looks broken, but once in the UI seems good. the app itself definitely needs work.
