The app works, but I'm trying to do filters, and there are so many, but if you swipe up or down too fast, it closes the menu and you have to start all over.

The app will not let me put my email to login. I've reinstalled it a few times but it never works

Garbage app and garage company that allows hosts to ignore their own listed cancellation policies. I'll never try to rent through Outdoorsy again.

hosts will always claim 100% of security deposit and won't show the work receipts. I'd steer away from this platform if at all possible.

The app becomes unusable when I tried to cancel my booking, which resulted in me passing the cancellation period and Outdoorsy refused to refund me. I have provided the screenshots of the errors for the issue and they claimed the technical team has "investigated" and ignored my request anyways. Absolutely horrible. *UPDATE*: The customer support team has reached out to me to follow up and resolved the issue.

My first time trying to use this app and the "host" cancelled my trip less then a month away with plans already in place leaving me with nothing in my price range to choose from. They claimed it was from the previous renter damaging it so that means this app is bad for hosts as well as renters. Stay away.

It's completely unfunctional. Can't log in because the app won't send the txt code. Can't do post or pre trip inspections through the app for over a week now.

Can't even pull up availability on my phone. it just glitches, flashing the pins on the map, and won't change from map view to list view.

I am informing every person to take caution and read this review very carefully. It was also my first time using a campvan rental service like outdoorsy. Basically, there is no set rates, anything you see on the website is always going to be under the owner's discretion to change at any time without notice. The rates given are not the actual rates you will pay for. In my case my rate was increased, so instead of the rate 112.50per night, it was nearly $500per night, festival rates they say.

Please do not rent your van out with Outdoorsy. my family has been renting their van out with outdoorsy for almost a year now with minimal issue, but when a family destroyed our van and abandoned it in a town 200 miles away, there was no safeguards. we were footed with the bill of repairing the damages and recovering our van. If things go wrong with outdoorsy, you are on your own

The app is average to poor at best. As others have mentioned, authentication is spotty. The app also seems to freeze up from time to time depending on navigation. The company itself is horrible. Poorly vetted hosts, Ticketmaster-like hidden fees, and annoying policies (being spammed by other offers after a booking??). I've even had a booking cancelled by the host and my fees weren't returned. Scam. Safe yourself the headache...look elsewhere.

The exact same business model as Airbnb. They advertise like you're renting through Outdoorsy and you have their protection....WRONG! The second something goes wrong they point you to the hosts or a third party contract company for 'roadside assistance' where they aren't actually held accountable for violating contracts, etc. I gave Outdoorsy our experience and they told me they would simply pass on the feedback. No recourse, no punishment, no corrective action plan, NOTHING.

the app itself is fine, but we have been very disappointed with the services so far. Which im not entirely sure it's the creators fault, but im sure more can be done. Basically no one responds to requests. put in 10 requests or messages and none where available. why list your rv if you're not even going to accept? put stricter guidelines on users/ads.

This is a terrible app! The user experience is painful but even after you make your way through that, the underlying product is awful. My husband and I messaged so many hosts and no one replied. After about 2 weeks of trying, we have given up. Other similar marketplaces put some response accountability on the hosts, but it seems like Outdoorsy severely missed the mark here. When one of the hosts eventually replied it was to let me know they sold the van and weren't sure why it was still listed.

App works well but as many have said the way its set up the fees are missing from the price. "Oh $70 a night for 2 nights?" You would think would be around $200 after taxes. WRONG.. try $290. Work the fees into the price per night rate that shows up during searches...otherwise it's very misleading.

Most rentals I have tried don't respond. They are old postings that seem to never go away. So I decided to try an instant booking, thinking that would have to work. So they to my money, and I instantly got a message that the vehicle was in the shop for the last 6 months. Long story short I'm out over $1000 for 5-7 days until they figure out how to give it back to me. Side note both app and website are glitchy and hard to navigate properly.

Most listings have lots of extra fees so the price in the app is dishonest or at the very least, misleading. Either way the coat shown is no where near what you will be actually charged. It isn't a matter of budget or being affordable, it is that the app allows deceptive pricing. If Outdoorsy sincerely wanted to people to be treated fairly they would offer filters for all the extra and hidden fees but they don't because they want that extra money.

Be careful. They have fraudulent business practices. They will show you one amount under the payment details when you request a booking and then an entirely different amount (in our case a few hundred dollars more) when you complete the booking. Also, if an owner cancels (happened to us both times we attempted to use Outdoorsy), you will have to pay out of pocket for a replacement rental while they take 5-10 business days to process the refund for your initial rental.

The search option isn't very robust, not may search parameters and every time you go back it jumps to the start of your search. It never remembers the dates or location you are searching for. It crashes often How it lists the total estimates price (i.e. $650/day) doesn't even make sense. It looks pretty but doesn't function well. Also, try making people post the model of the unit so you can see the actual weight of the trailer.

DO NOT USE THIS APP. If you are denied for a booking you requested, they can send your info to another host that you never contacted, and whos page you never viewed. One accidental click thinking I was getting the booking I requested and I was charged $1500 for a trailer I had never even looked at, let alone booked. I was also charged for 3 nights instead of the 2 I booked, there was $125 in invisible fees on the receipt. All around terrible, please do not give your business to them.

It crashes often How it lists the total estimates price (i.e. $650/day) doesn't even make sense. It looks pretty but doesn't function well. Also, try making people post the model of the unit so you can see the actual weight of the trailer.

Garbage app and garage company that allows hosts to ignore their own listed cancellation policies. I'll never try to rent through Outdoorsy again.

hosts will always claim 100% of security deposit and won't show the work receipts. I'd steer away from this platform if at all possible.
