On top of an old popup begging me to turn on "quick actions" that I could just back button out of, there's a new, infinitely worse one (begging me to pay for their subscription service) that holds me up for like 3 seconds and usually plays an ad after itself causing me to forget what I was even about to write down. Guess I'll just have to pay up every month so it goes away... Oh wait, there's literally hundreds of notepad apps that don't do this. DE-LE-TED!
They are forcing you to read lots of commercials for long periods of time, without any skip icon, before you can log on to your notes. my opinion: do not download this. you will be sorry. This is an extremely abusive app by design.They are not sorry, but happy to take your money for the ad free version. There's a lot better apps out there. Don't pay them anything. And don't trust their 5 star reviews! you're not sorry. your ads are excessive, abusive, sneaky, unethical and an attempt to force
Haven't used it very frequently, but it has worked well when I have used it. Well, just went to make a list for stuff I needed from Costco, and the app wouldn't open. Found out that it needed an update. After applying the update, the app still won't open. This is quite upsetting since I have data in some notes I did not expect to lose. Rebooting the phone hasn't helped. The only choice I have now is to uninstall and reinstall. Can't give an app that lost my data a good review.
Horrible ! ! ! I used to love this app, but now they shove an ad in every time you open it, and it's very hard to get out of it, other then a force close, but then when you go back, your back to where you started ! This is extremely frustrating because I am updating my house and had all my important measurements stored in the app. I haven't been able to retrieve any of the info and have to start all over again. I used this app not only for storing my construction info, but loved using the checklists section for grocery lists.

I refuse to sit through 3 or 4 ads (and click past them to escape) and waste 30--60 seconds of my time when I want to open and use the app to make a simple note. It's not worth it. I just want to make a quick note and you're making me click through all this garbage and just to open the app dashboard.
Since I transfered notepad to my new phone it will not open. I cannot access my multitude of notes. When I click on the app button it flashes the notepad and then disappears. There is no support or help available. l tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I lost all of my data. Most of it was important to very important. If anyone knows where the notepad files are stored I would appreciate you sharing that information so I can see if my file is recoverable.

The ads are a little annoying but bearable, they're not quite as bad as some of these other reviews make them out to be but maybe it's different for everyone. My only real complaint is that sometimes my note names have typos when I know for a fact I spelled them correctly. For example, I had one note with "Creature" in the name, and now it says "Cnature". There was another one that said "Book", but changed to "Blook". It's not a huge problem, just annoying

Most unintuitive notepad I've ever used, and that's a huge red flag considering that there's not a lot of intuity necessary. Now, there are ads all over it, especially when it's opend making me want to check the notes even less, therby destroying any use it might have. It's a basic notepad, it should be free without adds, there is no overhead to cover and clearly there is no further dev to expect. Anyone who paid for this is getting ripped off as there are several other notepad apps for free.

Sadly, now it's been inundated with long, unskippable ads that occur every single time you open it. Unacceptable. I moved all my notes over to the native app on my Samsung phone that does the exact same thing without the ads or other annoying things this one frequently prompts you to do. Uninstalled and good riddance.
ZERO STARS! It jumps to the bottom of the page when I start typing at the top of the page! Impossible to use for my rough draft, to try out different wording/phrasing by copying and pasting heavily! To the software programmers who wrote this app...do not add to my frustration by replying that you need further details! This is all you need to know! Stop being lazy and sloppy in your work!
This used to be a very good note app. But without warning, it started acting like a revolving malware farm. No more ability to take notes at all. It just demands monthly payment of $2.99. Technically its ad based, but its not functional that way. I no longer have any access to my own data! Like a scam. I want access to my notes; but with this hijack/ransom action that they started with no warning, I don't feel I can trust them now... especially if I were to start a subscription

And if you don't want ads, you'll have to pay. There's a word for that: EXTORTION! GARBAGE. Used to be a nice little note app, now everytime you try to pull some information up or type something down real quick you get stuck on a 2 minute ad. And it's not every once in a while. it's Every Single Time, even if you just tab out real quick to check something. Useless app. I'll be going somewhere else, and I imagine everyone else already did considering it took my 5 minutes to find it on the appstore again.

NOW however, you can't open the app without being hit by obnoxious full screen game ads that even if you find the skip button it either barely works or somehow still takes you to the app store. Most unintuitive notepad I've ever used, and that's a huge red flag considering that there's not a lot of intuity necessary. Now, there are ads all over it, especially when it's opend making me want to check the notes even less, therby destroying any use it might have. It's a basic notepad, it should be free without adds, there is no overhead to cover and clearly there is no further dev to expect. Anyone who paid for this is getting ripped off as there are several other notepad apps for free.

I moved all my notes over to the native app on my Samsung phone that does the exact same thing without the ads or other annoying things this one frequently prompts you to do. Uninstalled and good riddance.
ZERO STARS! It jumps to the bottom of the page when I start typing at the top of the page! Impossible to use for my rough draft, to try out different wording/phrasing by copying and pasting heavily! To the software programmers who wrote this app...do not add to my frustration by replying that you need further details! This is all you need to know! Stop being lazy and sloppy in your work!
This used to be a very good note app. But without warning, it started acting like a revolving malware farm. No more ability to take notes at all. It just demands monthly payment of $2.99. Technically its ad based, but its not functional that way. I no longer have any access to my own data! Like a scam. I want access to my notes; but with this hijack/ransom action that they started with no warning, I don't feel I can trust them now... especially if I were to start a subscription

The ads are a little annoying but bearable, they're not quite as bad as some of these other reviews make them out to be but maybe it's different for everyone. My only real complaint is that sometimes my note names have typos when I know for a fact I spelled them correctly. For example, I had one note with "Creature" in the name, and now it says "Cnature". There was another one that said "Book", but changed to "Blook". It's not a huge problem, just annoying

Previously, ads could be scrolled past, which was ideal. But I don't want to have to watch an ad to write something down, especially if I'm at risk to forget it before I can even open the app.
I downloaded this app and have used it for several years. Sadly, after the last update, ALL my info was wiped out. This is extremely frustrating because I am updating my house and had all my important measurements stored in the app. I haven't been able to retrieve any of the info and have to start all over again. I used this app not only for storing my construction info, but loved using the checklists section for grocery lists.
They are forcing you to read lots of commercials for long periods of time, without any skip icon, before you can log on to your notes. my opinion: do not download this. you will be sorry. This is an extremely abusive app by design.They are not sorry, but happy to take your money for the ad free version. There's a lot better apps out there. Don't pay them anything. And don't trust their 5 star reviews! you're not sorry. your ads are excessive, abusive, sneaky, unethical and an attempt to force
Haven't used it very frequently, but it has worked well when I have used it. Well, just went to make a list for stuff I needed from Costco, and the app wouldn't open. Found out that it needed an update. After applying the update, the app still won't open. This is quite upsetting since I have data in some notes I did not expect to lose. Rebooting the phone hasn't helped. The only choice I have now is to uninstall and reinstall. Can't give an app that lost my data a good review.

Since I transfered notepad to my new phone it will not open. I cannot access my multitude of notes. When I click on the app button it flashes the notepad and then disappears. There is no support or help available. l tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I lost all of my data. Most of it was important to very important. If anyone knows where the notepad files are stored I would appreciate you sharing that information so I can see if my file is recoverable.

And if you don't want ads, you'll have to pay. There's a word for that: EXTORTION! I don't care whether it's YouTube doing it, this app, or some other service, you're taking advantage of your customers by making them pay "protection money" for something that should be the default. Notepad Free looks promising, and is ad-free!

This USED to be a really helpful & easy to use Notepad/Checklist, but now it's been infested with long, unskipable ad's that you can't get rid of, unless you pay for them to be removed, but even then, they'll only be removed temporarily, because the payed for ad removal is a monthly subscription. Who the hell would pay a monthly fee for something that a piece of paper & a pencil can do?! Stay away from this app, multiple other apps on Google Play do the exact same thing's this one does for free.
