One of the greatest player apps, but the only issue I'm dealing with is this: On my bluetooth after I pause a video, when I press play on the bluetooth, the video will not play. It can get real annoying to have to manually press play constantly. But other than that, a great app.
It's my favorite player, but there's one big annoyance - scaling of 720p video files is horrible in portrait mode. It looks very blocky, no other android video app looks this bad. Maybe this scaler is too optimized, a leftover of the times when phones were dog slow, and I hope to see an option to use high-quality scaling.
Another interesting thing I've neglected to mention is when using screen sharing apps like Miracast/SmartView, the screen stays on for minutes. Samsung video player does not do this and neither does VLC. I have to flip my phone so the media doesn't distract me from the TV. Minor issue but one that should be addressed. Would make other players that much more unnecessary to use.
Would there be any way for you to add video to image support? For example, taking the raw image data from a video frame and storing it as a jpg/png. Screenshots don't keep the resolution the same.
MX Player Pro was good for a while. Now I have issues with the screen keep getting too dark to see. I adjusted the settings, but still keeps doing the same thing. Another annoying thing is the player doesn't maximize to the full screen so you have to pinch out every time. Might just go back to the VLC player
