Positive- It is a great game to play, there are things to do daily, and keeps me interested with the quickness of actions, characters are progress and there are cards that you collect to upgrade the fighting grunts. It is interesting to find the next characters to collects cards for. Negative side - sometimes it’s a little slow to make progress, wait times for rewards are a little long, staying on the app to get additional rewards is just waiting. There is not enough to do all the time and I find myself coming back once to twice a day to do tasks. There are so many characters to use that I use auto play to fight, not sure on the link between main character group and the fighting grunts... it is a little complex and will take time to learn the relationships to better use the grunts more effectively. Final analysis- reminds me of Idle Heroes with character upgrades and multiple combinations to fight other people. It is simple at first and walks you through the progress and at times is slow. Only a week playing this app and I see other-multiple games that have the same format. 4 star for ease of play and creativity, but lacks explanation of relationships of characters and for the length of time to unlock between every time you level up (play time and advancement for a beginner is similar to playing an app for a year, takes the same amount of time to unlock new things no matter how long you have been playing the game).

So, starting out, the game has gotten much better since my last review many moons ago. UI improvements, hero balancing.. all solid options. Removing the random battle system for a colosseum mini-game bit was an… interesting move, to say the least. I personally would have preferred to continue with the random match up (much higher replay value). My caveat: One of the latest heroes, Arahin God’s Will NEEDS… *NEEDS*… **NEEDS!!** to be rebalanced. If you have him in your line-up, matches will almost entirely swing in your favor, 9/10 times. His ability, the phantom attack, is a little OP but can be worked around. The fact that he also has evasion AND steals a percentage of attack from EVERY enemy hero makes the phantom attack (and him as a hero) incredibly unbalanced and overpowered. Unless you can kill him right after he comes out, he is HARD to remove, save with the nature legendary hero that silences all enemies in the line that he appears in. While that is clearly a workaround, what that does by proxy is force a build to include that specific hero. This is the MAIN reason as to why he needs to be rebalanced: because he forces the use of a specific hero to successfully counter him.

It’s pretty fun but kinda pushes you to buy. And it seems like the more money you put into the better character and squad build up get. And if you buy the more expensive warlords the more offer you will win. And the op warlords are the ogre jimmy and pirate. I’ve only won a few times against those warlords. More often than not, I lose to them. The better chances of winning against others is to pay for it which is kinda bogus. The more money you buy the better souls you get. And some of the squad combinations are just too op. I’ve played a few games against others where I just get dominated in 3 rounds. Loses fun factor. It’s fun when you are winning but goin against players who dump money into the game makes it less fun for they are more op with the warlord and squad combo. The idea is there but I think it needs to be more leveled out through and through. 3.4/4 stars. Better if more leveled out for players who may not want to spend a bunch of money on phone game when there are console games out there worth more spending on like the new COD MWII. I play these phone games when I’m not home so it’s not worth to dump money into these games for me.

tldr- cash makes game easy. no cash makes game harder and in my opinion more enjoyable. Long Ver- Yes, spending cash will get you upgrades faster and make the game easier. Or, and here me out, you can play, enjoy the game for it's difficulty, and slowly over time improve and develop your squad. If you want an easy lightly entertaining game use money. If you want a grind of a game that may take weeks to rank up, don't pay.

Reading the previous review, i feel this will sound much the same. I play this game daily and it has sadly become one of my largest time consumers thanks to covid (though restrictions are beginning to wain). The gameplay is smooth and attractive. It has cut out during duels with online players a few times now, most recently using up an opportunity to continue winning prizes as part of a side challenge, which upon glitching/cutting out I logged back into the game to see that it showed me as having lost. And now to the expensive part. I have always been extremely frugal when it come to in game purchases. However, since I was enjoying this one so much I decided I’d get a starter pack, which led to buying more gems, which led to more and more purchases. Just today I spent more than $50. In all, in just about 2 and half months of playing I’ve spent approximately $200. It’s ridiculous. Even after spending $50+ today my team was no more effective than it had been. I may be cutting my losses on this game soon as it feels the expense to satisfaction ratio weighs much more heavily on the expense side of the equation. If they can lower cost of improving your team I may consider keeping it. Initially I thought the game was 5 stars, but 2 months into it I’m leaning toward 3 stars.

This game was enjoyable enough in the beginning and I enjoyed the mini game. The in-game currencies were plentiful, in the beginning, and if I needed more, I could simply wait to collect the free-to-obtain amounts and save up. But then I spent money to speed along my advancement. It has gotten to the point that I'm spending more and more money to not be stuck waiting a long time to advance. I wouldn't mind this, except VIP is temporary and you have to keep buying more to keep it. Not fun.

First levels are a good experience. Quickly devolves into PtW, but there are enough normal players that you can still find good matches 1 out of 3. Clan war is poorly setup. Playing my first event, one of the achievements is to purchase chests with rare in-game currency. Did this, claimed it, but when I came back to the game that progress was lost, but the currency was still deducted. Typed in an in-game report, but it wouldn't send, so I'm missing out on the event.

Fun game that is easy and doesn't take any brain power. Fun to upgrade and discover new heros. After 2 weeks though the amount of pop up ads for new heros, gems, or limited items killed the fun. Everytime you launch the game, or switch screens. 2 to 3 pop ups that you have to close. No forced ads to watch which is rare these days.

The game brought me in from deceptive ad. The Journey section had very little (but still some) of what the ad showed the game to be, but that is gone in the third region. This game is unnecessarily complicated. There are so many ways to play and things to earn, from quests, Brawl, PVP, Clans, Turf War, collecting units, and upgrading units, and it's all very nice looking. But the game just isn't fun to play. You made a complex game and a Pay-to-Win system, but it's not fun to play.

I have been playing for months. Been doing pretty well without paying much. (Like $20 after two or three months.) But it seems like when there are updates I can't play for the entire day because it tells me to update even though I did, works fine the next day. And now it says network error all day. Decided to reinstall it and there is an error there as well.... it also seems like this happens all the time after events, just as I am able to get to the end of the event and get some good loot.....

I mean... I guess biggest plus it is at least partly 0 to the screenshots. I played this game for about an hour, and it was just... such a bizarre conglomeration of strange artstyles, incredibly and strangely different game play in each mode. There's oddly realistic depictions, chibi style dudes, stick figures(?) And the world map is just... utterly cluttered and confusing to look at. I've never been so repulsed by a games visuals. I think it'd be a lot better if the deck stuck with 1 style

This game is a cash grab. When you finally get past someone in the "campaign" you come to someone even harder. You can buy jewels to get better characters and level up, and you will have to do it again two characters later. Quit making it harder so that people have to pay to get past a certain point. Developing trust with your consumers works so much better. Make it to where you can get a decent amount of jewels for 0.99 or 1.99. Once I see anything over 4.99, I dont even bother with it.

Despite the game automatically countering your party everytime you switch heroes out, the game was still fun. Wouldn't have put in more than a year of time if it wasn't. But recently, they added the morgoth hero or commander or whatever, and it's really ruined my experience. Once the swords come out, it's over. They have too much hp for how powerful they are. How are we supposed deal with it? It's ridiculous. And it's not like I have chump parties.

Free to play? Yeah right. Any time you open the game or any menu all it does is pop up ad to buy this or buy that. Cant even play the game without the dev's asking for money left and right. Are you sure its a F2P? Also, the adds show Towers and these are not even in the game. Lame way to advertise for money. Gameplay is fun for a beginner, you get hooked on winning and beating opponents but there is little in the way of turorials. Cant win once you get higher XP as you need to spend $$$. Lame.

Excellent gameplay hindered by pay to win model. There are so many different currencies, it seems like they are trying to force you to buy them. For eg. something as basic as buying heroes(cards) cost friendshoip coins which are extremely hard to get(slow rather). Meanwhile I have 25K coins(primary currency) with absolutely nothing to spend on. There will be instances where you really can't do anything but just wait and come back in a day to make progress. Absolute garbage.

Really loved the game, spent a little money, then hit a wall after 2 days. Extremely PAY TO PLAY and expensive in order to do so. Extremely unbalanced, a single character almost always (after you progress a bit) determines the outcome of a battle. It's so unbalanced I had to uninstall. Sad, but don't waste your time. Other reviewers are right. Pay to win is fine, but pay to even play early in the game is ridiculous.

... it took me an absurd amount of tries to beat level 25/30 the first pastoral. I was finally able to beat it. But when you're first starting out in the game that's literally an insane power for them to have that early on. Every turn the attack power lowers. Literally. If that was the boss that'd be one thing, but no. The highest my characters could do at the time was 5. Literally 5!

Broken in so many ways. There are literally characters that hit the board and your only choice is to surrender or lose. When you do get that character it does not work the same way it does for others or even the computer. Everything is designed to separate you from your money. Developers have zero interest in balancing game play and matchmaking meaning you will literally spend months stuck in a spot. I would not recommend.

The game is nothing like the ads used to get you to install it. The gameplay in the ads is a minigame. Even the pictures they use are NOT representative of the main gameplay - which is more of an RPG game. Gameplay is very unbalanced, you will face enemy characters that have higher health, attacks, and access to magic & other helpful aids (for them) that you will not have access to for a long time. CPU characters can wipe you out easily. And you'll barely win. Do NOT install or waste your time!

Hard to believe the 4.9 rating. It's wildly fun and addicting, but loses stars for many reasons. 1) terrible matchmaking: some opponents are way too powerful that the match is basically over before your second turn. 2) utterly incomprehensible: many of skills used does not work as it seems, even its own AI/autoplay isn't smart. 3) very inconsistent: you could be one match away from entering next league only to end up losing 10+ matches in a row and drop a league. 4) lags and crashes constantly.

Not only is this game one of the worst versions of pay to win I have ever seen, I didn't get anything for one of the journey trophy things I did pay for. And if you look at the pictures of the game only the last 2 are actually in the game! You will only win if you pay money. Not just a couple bucks, 50-100 dollars a week to keeps up wins. And thats not mentioning the deceptive advertising. Don't waste your time. Also my original bad review is gone somehow! I'll put this one here in its place! DO NOT BOTHER, MOST OF THE REVIEWS HERE ARE FAKE!!!!

This game is a money pit, no matter how much you put into it without spending money, you'll never get anywhere. Half the time when you spend the money you don't get it anything useful anyways. The drops just eventually give you the same stuff. Tried complete an events, but couldn't because of the tasks needing so much money to be spent to complete. The campaign mode cannot be completed either. I really just want a refund, but pretty sure I won't get it. AVOID THIS GAME.

100% pay to win. They just want money. Avoid this game if you don't want to spend money on an app game. We're not talking $1-5. We're talking $50 and $100. Then if you buy say a pet you have to spend more gems, which cost money, to be able to level them. This doesn't level them out right it just gives you the option to level them via quests that need to be done in 24 hours. So you have to spend more gems to be able to finish the quests on time.

Such a stupid trick. You advertise for something that isn't what this game is. I didn't install this game for the stupid lore, ridiculous characters, or lifeless gameplay. I installed it for the puzzle game of stick figures fighting through a tower of other guys. That's it, that's all I wanted, but yet you seem to think I want more than that and force the rest down my throat if I bother to want to play your game at all. If it weren't a free game this would be fraud. Nothing fun about it!

My grandpa was in a sick bed at the hospital about a month ago, and he knew that he was going to be gone soon- but he wanted one more thing before he passed on. To be able to see the wise mystical tree again before he died. He was over 50 after all. I told him about this game, because I could’ve sworn that the wise mystical tree was in this game. When I told him, he was so happy, and grateful, and he was the happiest I’ve seen him in such a long time! But then he began to play it, and for hours and hours he played, without seeing any sign of any wise mystical tree in the game. As the hours wore on his old, frail bones, he began to look and act physically weaker, and his demeanor shifted into more of a somber one. After two hours of playing, he could no longer pick up the phone to even play it. When I rushed over to his side in concern for him, he said “god plays cruel, cruel games with us humans”, before I saw him abruptly seize up, with an agonized look on his face, followed by the flatlining of the machine in his room. We just had his funeral last week. And I’ve been grieving ever since. And I blame this game for breaking my poor old grandfather’s heart and taking him away from us. How could you do that? Shatter somebodies dreams in their final moments of life by making promises that you can’t keep? Why are people so cruel to their fellow man? That is something that I can never hope to understand.

The game crashes too often to be acceptable. If you spend gems on a crashed session you lose the gems. That’s basically stealing!!! I’m also stuck in progress and there’s no amount of boosts or bonuses that will get me by. I’ve also noticed that spending over $100 won’t guarantee I get past that barrier. Which really doesn’t matter because the next barrier probably requires you spend more. So, after spending hours trying to get past the barrier and unable to do so I’m frustrated and rapidly losing interest and I’m starting to look somewhere else for some “real” fun. That coupled with the fact that the game crashes at least 3-4 times when I play, removes any sense of being able to progress in the game. There’s just no payoff anymore. Plus spending the amount of money they force you to spend to get anywhere in this game you’d expect that they would have fixed the crashes or have a better system rather than steal from you. It’s shady and disrespectful. The game constantly crashes and is basically unplayable. I play to relax and blow off steam not get frustrated over the constant road blocks that can only be overcome by spending a boatload of money. Not worth the hassle with other options out there. Since I feel more cheated and frustrated with the game crashing than any possible joy or satisfaction I could get playing when it might work, I just deleted it. Bye bye. Hello! Thank you for your feedback! We are sorry that you have to meet this issue :( We'll be glad to get more detailed info about your issue on our official email address: [email protected] and solve this issue as soon as possible. Best regards, Mighty Party Team.

The game is sometimes unplayable because of the algorithms used for auto fighting. Back-back opponents will summon 3 of the same legendary which breaks the game and makes it impossible to win. You'll go on 9-10 losing streaks against players you should easily be able to beat but can't because of the randomly generated hands. I can't decide if this makes it a cash grabber or just a poor design because I definitely haven't been convinced it would ever be worth it to spend money on this game.

False Ads, far too much railroading, and predatory. To start, the ads were for puzzles kind of like the old flash games. Turns out it is only a gotchya game. They emphasis summons... Yet only seen the drawing puzzle twice. There is tutorials and there is railroading. Not allowed to click on anything but the railroad or the shop. Don't try a few rounds to get a feel for what you were just shown nor collect prizes. Gotchya predatory tactics. It can't support a stable playerbase on dishonesty.

Great waste of time and energy! I have played with the same character for over a year. NOT ONCE has any of them upgraded. Total rip off!! Pay to play only!! Sucks to play for this long and delete, can't get any further in this joke of a game!! You can literally see the algorithm change when your at a level up point. Stops you till you pay every time. Gets boring real quick! Gets so boring, same level and cannot go up without spending 400 dollars for one level.
