Good App. Good but not great. For everyone who is having problems with their app when the either update it or need to reconnect the camera to the viewing app. I was experiencing the same problems after switching wifi connection. I kept getting device offline error. It wasn't until I went to the apps storage and cleared the cache as well as any and all data related to the app. Basically like starting fresh with a new install. I did that and reset the camera itself by pressing the reset button.
App crashes regularly on both Galaxy Note 10 and One Plus 6T. On top of which it is just not good to use - there is no bulk option to download or delete. I have to individually click and select hundreds of files one by one to download to phone. In theory I could review/play them in the app viewer but that doesn't allow me to move the slider fast through the vid - I don't have time to watch each 30 sec clip in full. Basically it needs a bulk file select option.
You can't fast forward the footage. Footages don't have thumbnails. There is no way of exporting files saved to its cloud outside the app. For the pricey devices, the app should do better. Just horrible!!!! Would not recommend.
The most difficult time wasting App ever. Setting this thing up to do what your device can do is almost impossible. Worst still I did a reboot recently.i had a robbery a few days back. I went to retrieve the continual loop videos. Zero, none at all. The reboot changed the settings and turned the automatic loop recordings. Not happy this is why I purchased my clock camera. My friends went to a major hardware bought something similar and was really plug and play in 2 minutes. This useless App you
this app requires some serious updates. 1) video playback is unusable in both cloud plans. it shows a 24h long timeline without any indicators of where recorded bits are for the alert recording. so you have to guess when the event could happen and pick it perfectly to be able to play it back 2) in non stop recording mode there is no speed upreply so you can only watch in real time 3) switching to another app immediately turns everything off. when back you need to choose the camera every time.

Motion detection is enabled in this app. But even then, the app does not send notification on detecting motion on Samsung A34 phone. I can see it detected motion from the 'messges' option within the app. The app does not even show up in Apps list in Android menu from which notifications can be configured. Camera view orientation keeps changing on its own inspite of setting up multiple times. The progress bar while playing back video doesn't work at all, no matter how much one tries.
Total waste of money. nothing works as advertised. I'm shipping it back. if I can get my money back I'll be surprised.

When you disconnect it from the wifi it stops recording to the SD card (even when on loop record) which means it cannot be used at all when not connected to the Internet and if the Internet goes down it will not record (so if someone unplugs the modem) the camera won't record at all.
Moderately helpful, but very confusing. For example, it took a while to learn that to turn on motion activated recording you turn on alarm. Cloud file access is unlike anything I've encountered before, no URL, to a website with login, to allow access outside of LookCam, and download of videos does NOT put them on my phone. Explanation of the charges for Cloud is missing, as is any help file or pop-ups to explain terms and options. It does facilitate access to recordings made by the camera.
This app (or device?) Is completely useless. If you uninstall/reinstall the app, and reset the defuse, they find each other exactly once... For a few seconds. Then when you try to configure the device through the app, it disconnects,and the app will never find the device again. Ever. Period. Adding to the joy is the fact that the the instructions were written completely nonlinearly by a meth-head in Chinese, and then Google translated to Swahili, and then to japanese, THEN English..
Unit is not staying connected to wifi or the unit. I have to keep clearing the wifi and putting it back in to get it to work.then i have to keep doing it cause it loses it again. After testing a while i found out it is disconnecting once the phone screen locks. Just to let you know. Please send a working one an if it works ill return this junk. Well what you going to do??? Please update your software, and dont just say you did.
This app is garbage. I can not express how infuriating it has been trying to make this work. Not only does it force close the app when you try and switch screen to turn on WIFI. IT DOESN'T CONNECT TO ANY WIFI!!! I tried several times to connect the camera to WiFi and it doesn't work. I tried using the latest version of the app and a older version and it's the same issue. This app needs a lot of work to get it to work.
Absolutely terrible. This app constantly goes offline. It doesn't always record to SD. I've had to reboot it 4 times in the last 5 days. To only have it disconnect anyways. It's not my Wi-Fi due to me able to check it remotely. It's not the camera either due to it connecting and working just fine. It seems what update they did fix absolutely nothing. This whole app needs a overhaul and needs the ability to be able to remotely connect back to Wi-Fi. It wont matter if it's free if it doesn't work.

I put record for 30 minutes on motion sensor and my devices all record back to back for only 30 seconds. On top of that, finding footage is very hard because they don't have thumbnail images. For this pricey equipment, the app should most definitely be better.
Very difficult to connect to a "nest" wifi system. Once connected, app would lock up any time you edit setting like device password. Once I managed to get past those obstacles the picture is ok, but I would like to see the ability to rotate picture 90* because not all cameras mount same direction, especially if yours is mounted to a power outlet (outlets can be horizontal or vertical) such as a USB spy cam. Rotating picture would give app 1 more star.
I pray you didn't waste your money as well. Not only is there no device info included, but there are aslo no QR scans they mention. If you do happen to get it to install somehow, the device does not connect or come online. The instructions are just as useful as the devices and this software. I've had a few of these devices and never this much frustration over something so simple and basic.
This software is adequate mostly. It's reliable for live viewing. It's easy to view, flip, record, screen cap, etc. The weakness is the recordings stored on the SD card. 1. No thumnails. 2. Playback has no controls whatsoever. 3. Downloading is inconsistent. 9/10 times the file won't download. The app must remain open during the download. 4. Downloaded files are not just downloaded to your gallery. 🤷♂️ They have to be shared for you to be able to find them and watch them in a decent player.

Unit is not staying connected to wifi or the unit. I have to keep clearing the wifi and putting it back in to get it to work.then i have to keep doing it cause it loses it again. After testing a while i found out it is disconnecting once the phone screen locks. Just to let you know. Please send a working one an if it works ill return this junk. Well what you going to do??? Please update your software, and dont just say you did.
This app is garbage. I can not express how infuriating it has been trying to make this work. Not only does it force close the app when you try and switch screen to turn on WIFI. IT DOESN'T CONNECT TO ANY WIFI!!! I tried several times to connect the camera to WiFi and it doesn't work. I tried using the latest version of the app and a older version and it's the same issue. This app needs a lot of work to get it to work.

If you do happen to get it to install somehow, the device does not connect or come online. The instructions are just as useful as the devices and this software. The app finds, connects, displays video from the cam and records without a hitch to a point. Where it falls down a little is that you must stay in the app, no screen off, no background recording, you leave the app you lose everything. You must manually stop the recording or no playable file is saved. If these things were fixed it would rate much higher.
This software is adequate mostly. It's reliable for live viewing. It's easy to view, flip, record, screen cap, etc. The weakness is the recordings stored on the SD card. 1. No thumnails. 2. Playback has no controls whatsoever. 3. Downloading is inconsistent. 9/10 times the file won't download. The app must remain open during the download. 4. Downloaded files are not just downloaded to your gallery. 🤷♂️ They have to be shared for you to be able to find them and watch them in a decent player.
App crashes regularly on both Galaxy Note 10 and One Plus 6T. On top of which it is just not good to use - there is no bulk option to download or delete. I have to individually click and select hundreds of files one by one to download to phone. In theory I could review/play them in the app viewer but that doesn't allow me to move the slider fast through the vid - I don't have time to watch each 30 sec clip in full. Basically it needs a bulk file select option.
Motion detection is enabled in this app. But even then, the app does not send notification on detecting motion on Samsung A34 phone. I can see it detected motion from the 'messges' option within the app. The app does not even show up in Apps list in Android menu from which notifications can be configured. Camera view orientation keeps changing on its own inspite of setting up multiple times. The progress bar while playing back video doesn't work at all, no matter how much one tries.
It works, however there's no account. so it's only 1 phone that's linked to the camera. When watching replay you can't skip forward. Have to watch the whole video, or download first then skip in using gallery. Downloads are slow and stops when your phone turns off. otherwise all good, just a hassle
Moderately helpful, but very confusing. For example, it took a while to learn that to turn on motion activated recording you turn on alarm. Cloud file access is unlike anything I've encountered before, no URL, to a website with login, to allow access outside of LookCam, and download of videos does NOT put them on my phone. Explanation of the charges for Cloud is missing, as is any help file or pop-ups to explain terms and options. It does facilitate access to recordings made by the camera.
Very difficult to connect to a "nest" wifi system. Once connected, app would lock up any time you edit setting like device password. Once I managed to get past those obstacles the picture is ok, but I would like to see the ability to rotate picture 90* because not all cameras mount same direction, especially if yours is mounted to a power outlet (outlets can be horizontal or vertical) such as a USB spy cam. Rotating picture would give app 1 more star.
It works relatively okay. But there is one thing that is very disturbing to me. When you disconnect it from the wifi it stops recording to the SD card (even when on loop record) which means it cannot be used at all when not connected to the Internet and if the Internet goes down it will not record (so if someone unplugs the modem) the camera won't record at all.
You can't fast forward the footage. Footages don't have thumbnails. There is no way of exporting files saved to its cloud outside the app. For the pricey devices, the app should do better. Just horrible!!!! Would not recommend.
The most difficult time wasting App ever. Setting this thing up to do what your device can do is almost impossible. Worst still I did a reboot recently.i had a robbery a few days back. I went to retrieve the continual loop videos. Zero, none at all. The reboot changed the settings and turned the automatic loop recordings. Not happy this is why I purchased my clock camera. My friends went to a major hardware bought something similar and was really plug and play in 2 minutes. This useless App you
this app requires some serious updates. 1) video playback is unusable in both cloud plans. it shows a 24h long timeline without any indicators of where recorded bits are for the alert recording. so you have to guess when the event could happen and pick it perfectly to be able to play it back 2) in non stop recording mode there is no speed upreply so you can only watch in real time 3) switching to another app immediately turns everything off. when back you need to choose the camera every time.
very slow and lords of problem on this app.. specially cloud service is very vey bad. please make it update everything. we r now in 2025. make it more future programme on it.... try to understand why people download your app. thank you

This app (or device?) Is completely useless. If you uninstall/reinstall the app, and reset the defuse, they find each other exactly once... For a few seconds. Then when you try to configure the device through the app, it disconnects,and the app will never find the device again. Ever. Period. Adding to the joy is the fact that the the instructions were written completely nonlinearly by a meth-head in Chinese, and then Google translated to Swahili, and then to japanese, THEN English..
Unit is not staying connected to wifi or the unit. I have to keep clearing the wifi and putting it back in to get it to work.then i have to keep doing it cause it loses it again. After testing a while i found out it is disconnecting once the phone screen locks. Just to let you know. Please send a working one an if it works ill return this junk. Well what you going to do??? Please update your software, and dont just say you did.
This app is garbage. I can not express how infuriating it has been trying to make this work. Not only does it force close the app when you try and switch screen to turn on WIFI. IT DOESN'T CONNECT TO ANY WIFI!!! I tried several times to connect the camera to WiFi and it doesn't work. I tried using the latest version of the app and a older version and it's the same issue. This app needs a lot of work to get it to work.
Absolutely terrible. This app constantly goes offline. It doesn't always record to SD. I've had to reboot it 4 times in the last 5 days. To only have it disconnect anyways. It's not my Wi-Fi due to me able to check it remotely. It's not the camera either due to it connecting and working just fine. It seems what update they did fix absolutely nothing. This whole app needs a overhaul and needs the ability to be able to remotely connect back to Wi-Fi. It wont matter if it's free if it doesn't work.

I put record for 30 minutes on motion sensor and my devices all record back to back for only 30 seconds. On top of that, finding footage is very hard because they don't have thumbnail images. For this pricey equipment, the app should most definitely be better.
I pray you didn't waste your money as well. Not only is there no device info included, but there are aslo no QR scans they mention. If you do happen to get it to install somehow, the device does not connect or come online. The instructions are just as useful as the devices and this software. I've had a few of these devices and never this much frustration over something so simple and basic.

Good App. Good but not great. For everyone who is having problems with their app when the either update it or need to reconnect the camera to the viewing app. I was experiencing the same problems after switching wifi connection. I kept getting device offline error. It wasn't until I went to the apps storage and cleared the cache as well as any and all data related to the app. Basically like starting fresh with a new install. I did that and reset the camera itself by pressing the reset button.
