These were a great gift I got for Christmas. I haven’t had an over ear set headphones in a very long time. These worked very well for me. The noise canceling works very well. I also believe the sound is very good. I feel the bass could be a little deeper and they could be a little louder but over all for this price point I believe these are an amazing set of headphones. I also enjoy the app very much it was easy to use and to understand. The EQ works well and you can fine tune the music to your liking. The batteries stay charged for a long time being able to check the charge of the batteries through the app is a nice touch. The batteries charge rather quickly so that great. Overall these are a an amazing set of headphones and I highly recommend them especially if you are on a budget.

I’ve been researching headphones and reading reviews for headphones for a good month or so and I walked through Kohl’s and found these JBL Tune 230nc and saw the price and walked away. As I stood in line waiting for my food I started looking at reviews for these headphones. I think there was 2 or 3 negative reviews but for the most part they were good. So I thought I’ll get them and if I don’t like them I’ll just return them. Once I got back and set them up and installed the update I haven’t been able to take them out. They’re literally stuck in my ear!!! The sound is amazing, the bass is great and the gestures are easy to use and you don’t have to push them into your head to get them to respond like on my previous headphones. They’re comfortable and feel tight and I don’t feel like they’re gonna fall out of my ear!!! What imma saying is these are the best headphones I’ve had and way worth the price I paid!!! Thank you for making a good product I can talk about. I’ve actually told everyone that I hang with to put them in and listen. Imma very pleased with my purchase!!! Frank

For the money you WILL NOT find better sound. Id be willing to bet for another hundred or two you won’t find better sound. I paid almost 300 for my Solo Pros and the JBL are superior. These are truly what music is meant to sound like. I have JBL in my car and I will only buy Harman products from “hear” on out. To the engineers at Harman I applaud you. Keep up the good work. I highly recommend. I can’t wait to save up the scratch to get the Flash as I’m told they sound BETTER?! I don’t know how this is possible, but I wanna find out!

The headphones are quite exceptional, the noise-canceling feature works well, and they definitely deliver louder music than some other headphones I've used and they don't sacrifice the crispness or quality of the music. I've had terrible luck using earbuds, so over-the-ear headphones were a must. Even after wearing them for 3+ hours though, they're still comfortable, leaving my ears 100% pain-free. I highly recommend these and I think they perform considerably better than the price I paid!!!!

Works great.. really good ANC is better than any other's I've ever heard so far. I would definitely recommend it to anybody looking to get a little alone time in your own head, (without all of that loud background noise that nobody needs thus keeping your mind constantly occupied or hard to concentrate.) definitely worth the money. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to technology. So if you buy a cheap $20 pair and expect the same quality it's just not going to happen.

I have been very happy with these EarPods and the app has been a pretty cool bonus I wasn’t aware of. There’s some convenient and definitely nice to have features in it that have made me life the EarPods even better. That being said, there has been quite a few connectivity issues with the app 1. It strangely won’t ever connect to them when they’re in the case which is pretty dumb, especially if just one of them is in the case and I am using the other. 2. It just doesn’t connect to them at all way to often. So I have to put them in the case and take them out once or twice before it connects. Outside of those issues. I am a fan and it’s nice to have and adds to the value of the pods, especially for only being $80

Great app, but my earphones kind of glitch out if they're playing music while I'm connecting to them through the app. Also, it would be nice if you could customize individual touch controls, like for example, tap to play/pause, double tap to turn up volume, and triple tap to turn it down. And it would also be great if it had Gemini support, instead of only Google Assistant. Other than that though, the app itself is great.

The bass is really great. I like the noise canceling, and the easy set up. It doesn't stay consistent though, with ear buds going in and out independently. I am not a fan of the insert, they do not stay in well at all. I've tried wearing them while I'm cooking, and they fall out every few minutes. You cannot be far from your phone at all, the Bluetooth range is maybe 5 ft.

It's difficult to open the earphones settings. When I touch the earbuds settings button, nothing happens. If the settings actually open, you can edit them to match your desired listening preferences. Whether you want to listen to a podcast, a book, music, or to a movie, the options allow you to customize the earbuds. You can also listen to what's going on around you, which is essential if you're a woman running alone. No one should be unconscious of the sounds around them. Please fix the app! TY

Typically the earbuds lose sound when an update is needed. So when they started losing sounds today, I checked for an update. There isn't one. I uninstalled and re-installed the app. No change. Now I have to sit at work in silence for the day and purchase a new set of earbuds later. Annoying.

not happy with my JBL Tune130NC Tws. For some reason the volume in one ear buds is extremely low and will not increase. the other ear bud is at a medium volume. I attempted to watch a movie on a plane ride and couldn't hear a thing. the noise from the engines was too loud. If I am walking on a busy street, the noise from the cars passing by is greater than the volume and I can't hear the podcast or book I'm listening to. they both charge, and hold the charge.

Some app feature are good, some not so good. Personi-Fi adjustment are great, as well as the custome Balance settings and Equilizer. The TalkThru and Voice Aware don't work well, I can't hear myself or others well. That issue causes me to use other devices for calls and when around people I need to connect with by voice. If there is a microphone, it is not picking up my voice or those around me. The app also loses ability to see device, even if paired, requiring a reinstall of software to work.

overall sound quality is very good, as is the comfort. it is not reliable, unfortunately. I've had intermittent issues with the ear buds not charging properly or at all for periods of time. it has become increasingly more frequent and now the right ear bud will not charge and stays on even when in the case (I have to turn it off through the app). once it's completed dead I think I'm going back to bose.

Ok I guess. It takes forever to register that the earbuds are connected, even when I'm listening to music with them. Playback gestures are pretty garbage too. Double tap, triple tap? Good luck! You'll spend so much time trying to make it work (and rectifying the outcomes of misunderstood gestures) that you may as well have just pulled out your phone and pressed the button yourself.

I have the JBL TUNE125TWS Bluetooth earbuds. I received them a present in December of 2021. They work well and are comfortable, I also like the charging pod. You can charge them without it being plugged in which is a plus. However the charging pod stopped working with the right earbud, it would charge the left but no the right. Had to figure out how to clean the connectors which wasn’t easy. The app does not work with this model which is also very frustrating. It would be great if there was a way to change the equalizer. And my BIGGEST COMPLAINT is that there is so way to find the earbuds or the pod if they get misplaced. There isn’t an app that works with them and they don’t have a button the pod to send a sound alert or something to the EarPods. Like a “find my iPhone” sound but a “find my EarPods” sound. Which would make it so much easier to find them. Ive misplaced one or both of them a few times and had to turn my apartment upside down to try and find them.

Worked well for about 6 months. But there's a motion sensor that pauses whatever you are listening to, and that is messed up in mine. So I constantly hear the little water drop sound it makes, and my music/movie pauses and restarts numerous times unless I have them situated EXACTLY. If you're talking with someone, then you continuously hear that water drop sound throughout the conversation. Also, the app requires your location in order to connect to the headphones, so they can make a few pennies

This app has been terrible since I've been using it. it won't find my earbuds even when they are connected to my phone. it won't let me access half of the features and it takes forever to load. I've also experienced constant problems with their wireless earbuds, they won't power off when I want them to, they dont charge properly and they do not connect like they should I'm honestly disappointed because I used to love their products, but this app is borderline unusable and makes me want to switch

The earbuds aren't very loud at all. It's not my phone volume adjustment either. Other earbuds work just fine and are very loud. I thought the app was customizable. You get to pick what feature each earbud can operate but it's preset features. Not very customizable. And the equalizer is not very good either. A bad app development all the way around. Not worth downloading.

Just got new Tune Flex 2 buds & was excited to set up the app. Even though I select "Proceed without allowing" the nearby devices permission, the app will not let me proceed. It has no reason to be demanding my location or to be detecting devices with this nearby permission. I can manually set things up just fine. I will not enable this setting on my phone. I now have $100 earbuds that haven't even been used for a full song that need to be returned because the app won't work. Back to airpods.

The app registers that I have headphones and will rarely allow me to actually access the settings. It just sits there greyed out. Edit: After multiple attempts to access the settings for my headphones, I just un-installed this trash app. Maybe it wouldn't be trash if you had one central hub app instead of multiple for each product type you have.

love the earbuds but can't do absolutely anything with the app. it paired with my earbuds but the icon for them remains constantly grayed out and is unable to be clicked on. I've tried with 1 earbud in, both earbuds in, no earbuds in, the case closed, the case opened. absolutely nothing i do will let me interact with the app so i don't really understand the purpose of the app? great sounding earbuds though!

there's a setting menu to change what "gestures" you can do but can literally only change ONE. when I'm trying to adjust my earbuds, guess what happens? IT PAUSES, I CANT TURN OFF. it "detects" it's not "in my ear" when it is and pauses when I have that TURNED OFF. this app is useless. I can't even change the earbuds to stop doing anything, but it's the main purpose of playing music.

the app doesn't work for me at all. 8 have the live pro2 tws earbuds. the earbuds work somewhat ok. they disconnect and reconnect on a loop sometimes. the app doesn't function at all. it will recognize the buds, but when I click on them, I get nowhere. the buds are 3 out of 5 stars. the app is a strong 0 out of 5 stars. I know nothing will be done about this because they already have our money.

Complete garbage. Using Tune 770NC headphones. Frequently Bluetooth says connected but no audio playing through headphones. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Plays normally for a while and then will randomly stop or quit when I switch apps. When it fails, I've tried disconnect/reconnect, restarting the phone, turning off features, closing apps, unpairing & reinstall etc. Very frustrating. Will not buy any JBL devices in the future.

App sucks. My earbuds are Live Pro 2. They're wonderful but since the app only connects to them on a rare occasion, I cannot change the settings. It connects only when you get lucky. And since it won't connect & the software updates (the earbuds, not the app) take 15 minutes when it DOES connect, I can't get the software updates! I will never buy another JBL product again.
