I somehow don't know what the problem is...it is a very nice app...but I have 2 points why I gave this a 3 star... Number 1. It sometimes crashes when you open it.... And number 2. You can't save it to your gallery anymore...look, I have to go suffer and just download the gifs on Chrome but just keeps showing gray and blue boxes....please fix this bug...but over all, it's a nice app🙂

I was loving this app- used it for the past 2 years , sending a dozen GIFs a day. Every topic or conversation I had received an accompanying gif, it was great. Plus no ads. And one day it just stopped working. Went through all of the troubleshooting recommendations, uninstalled it then reinstalled it, gave them all permissions, even ones they didn't ask for... But nothing helped. So I'm uninstalling it and trying something else, maybe WebM. 5 ⭐'s two years ago. But now i gotta give it just 3 ⭐

Don't waste your time with this app. The devs can't do more than run their Tenor website if it's the same team. I can't log into this app anymore, I can't download gifs anymore (they save as pictures), I can't use the app's "Share" options anymore (when I press messenger for example it highlights the button and does absolutely nothing.) This is the poorest excuse of any type of mobile app I've ever seen. Really didn't expect this from Tenor. Uninstalling.

I liked it for a period of time. I'd use it mostly to send gifs to my family and friends through text or Messenger. But then it got really slow, took forever to load, and seemed to think I had no internet connection. But all other apps were working fine. I ended uninstalling it, and installing a different gif app.

Edit: Okay, so they fixed it and gave me all my favorite gifs back. I'm still missing my packs, but at least it's a significant step in the right direction. I used to love this app. I was able to view my favorite gifs. Now, after the March 22nd update, every time I open it, I get logged out, it doesn't show my favorites, and if I try to add new favorites, they're deleted after I exit the app. What gives? This app worked perfectly fine until March 22nd, then they completely butchered it.

I was able to use this for the longest time until recently downloading it back on my phone. Now when I try to send a gif through messages it gives me all kinds of errors. Not sure if it was my phone or app or an update but I deleted and downloaded it again and again, restarted my phone but still getting same errors and won't let me do anything.

Good app but I just got a new phone and was so sad to find that the gifs do not transfer, even if you log into the same account on both devices. Also if you uninstall and reinstall the app, you lose all your saved gifs. I lost years of saved gifs. I've decided transfer my uploaded gifs to Giphy and make that my primary gif keyboard, so I don't have to worry about this again. They retain all your stuff across devices, which is a much better experience.

The gif search is very laggy and some of of the search results didn't show up (only grey boxes with no pictures). I have tried different ISP all the same. But when I used Whatsapp built-in giff (which is also Tenor gif), I have no problem at all, so it must be the problem of this app. Also, I need to wait around 5 seconds or more when I click on the gif I want to post in Line chat for the next screen to pop out, which is very lame.

Takes way too long to review gifs being uploaded and has absolutely no way of allowing you to delete them either, if it's this time consuming at least give the option to quit or opt out of uploading, so we don't have to spend time waiting. I definitely could have tried on another app, that wasn't so slow. Also, what's with the poor quality? Even when the gif is short, it has such a grainy quality to it, the video is at at the highest resolution, but the gif ruins it.

Literally useless. I installed this app about a week ago. When I first opened this app, nothing would load. I tried signing up but that wouldn't work either because it just kept loading. I thought it was my internet connection that was causing it but it was working fine too. Did this same process everyday but nothing would work. Going to find a better app because this one won't work. Won't recommend wasting your time on this app if it doesn't work on the first try.

mine works perfectly doesn't crash like everyone else's. they probably put the app on their SD card, sometimes that makes it crash. Some apps will allow you to put move. Uh, apps to the external memory card. Sd card and it doesn't always work, sometimes the apps crash more if they do that, move it to the internal storage, and that almost eighty to ninety percent in time fixes the problem FYI.

The "Caption" feature simply stopped working a few months ago. After adding a caption, it either freezes on the "Next" command, or it procedes to the "Send" command but simply eliminates my caption. Either way it is no longer possible to personalize a GIF with a caption. Also many GIFs will send to recipient as a video with "Play" button. Kinda sucks. Also if you select an image, it used to then allow you to open "Related GIFs," but this feature also seems to have no effect now. PLEASE FIX IT!

App suddenly stopped working. I uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. I used to be able to open the app and upload/tag gifs as required but now I can't do it. Needed file search function for uploading too, but I gave it a pass. Now I can't do anything so not happy. Also hearing about the loss of the keyboard extension also really upsetting. Please fix these issues.

The app has become a waste of space. Gifs no longer send as gifs but, instead, just a still image. When you try to add caption, it will 95% of the time present an error message "Could not connect to internet. Please try again later" (nevermind the fact that, 2 minutes before and 2 minutes after, I could be streaming Netflix just fine). Literal hours wasted trying to send a simple gif. Will be deleting app and finding a better one.

When you fix the problem that everyone is having, I will give 5 stars. My wife and I used it just about every day. Now we can't at all over the last few days. Keeps directing to the Play Store! I thought it was our phones. I uninstalled and reinstalled more than once hoping to fix the issue. Same problem. Please fix this issue as we love the app, but right now it's useless.

At least now there's thumbnails of the uploaded gifs before they're finished so I know it's successfully started and in progress. A sticker, frame or anything to indicate that something isn't fully published yet would be useful too. Please add html embedding links for using in comments!

Okay, so since Dec 1 2023 till Jan 2024, Tenor website becomes more and more worsen than before. First, the memes and stickers UI with overlapped media thumbnails (They still didn't fix it). Second, Notifications is sometimes unusable (just "Upload GIFs, and you’ll get notifications when people share or favorite them" and nothing else). Third, Favorites is mostly gone blank and I can't even add my new favs. Sometimes I can only view my favs just for a few seconds then it goes "No Results".

I dunno if it's a technical issue or not, I used to be able to send the gifs to the Facebook messenger from the app directly, but now it doesn't work. the send option is still there, but when you send the gifs nothing happens. it doesn't show in the messenger anymore. I reported the issue to them a few times but haven't got any response.

Used to be a lot better. For a while now i've has the same log in problems as everyone else. All my favorites i had saved and sorted are just gone. The worst part is there's no option to create a gif anymore except to record... myself??? What happened to screen record? That was kind of the whole point that I could make my own very specific gifs. Now I can't do that. And now to see so many of my same complaints from others and nothing has been done about it so far... it's disappointing.

I liked it for a period of time. I'd use it mostly to send gifs to my family and friends through text or Messenger. But then it got really slow, took forever to load, and seemed to think I had no internet connection. But all other apps were working fine. I ended uninstalling it, and installing a different gif app.

Good app but I just got a new phone and was so sad to find that the gifs do not transfer, even if you log into the same account on both devices. Also if you uninstall and reinstall the app, you lose all your saved gifs. I lost years of saved gifs. I've decided transfer my uploaded gifs to Giphy and make that my primary gif keyboard, so I don't have to worry about this again. They retain all your stuff across devices, which is a much better experience.

The gif search is very laggy and some of of the search results didn't show up (only grey boxes with no pictures). I have tried different ISP all the same. Takes way too long to review gifs being uploaded and has absolutely no way of allowing you to delete them either, if it's this time consuming at least give the option to quit or opt out of uploading, so we don't have to spend time waiting. I definitely could have tried on another app, that wasn't so slow. Also, what's with the poor quality? Even when the gif is short, it has such a grainy quality to it, the video is at at the highest resolution, but the gif ruins it.

Sd card and it doesn't always work, sometimes the apps crash more if they do that, move it to the internal storage, and that almost eighty to ninety percent in time fixes the problem FYI.

The "Caption" feature simply stopped working a few months ago. After adding a caption, it either freezes on the "Next" command, or it procedes to the "Send" command but simply eliminates my caption. Either way it is no longer possible to personalize a GIF with a caption. Also many GIFs will send to recipient as a video with "Play" button. Kinda sucks. Also if you select an image, it used to then allow you to open "Related GIFs," but this feature also seems to have no effect now. PLEASE FIX IT!

App suddenly stopped working. I uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. I used to be able to open the app and upload/tag gifs as required but now I can't do it. Needed file search function for uploading too, but I gave it a pass. Now I can't do anything so not happy. Also hearing about the loss of the keyboard extension also really upsetting. Please fix these issues.

The app has become a waste of space. Gifs no longer send as gifs but, instead, just a still image. When you try to add caption, it will 95% of the time present an error message "Could not connect to internet. Please try again later" (nevermind the fact that, 2 minutes before and 2 minutes after, I could be streaming Netflix just fine). Literal hours wasted trying to send a simple gif. Will be deleting app and finding a better one.

When you fix the problem that everyone is having, I will give 5 stars. My wife and I used it just about every day. Now we can't at all over the last few days. Keeps directing to the Play Store! I thought it was our phones. I uninstalled and reinstalled more than once hoping to fix the issue. Same problem. Please fix this issue as we love the app, but right now it's useless.

Disappointed with the last update. I can no longer see how many shares my gifs have. Seeing the numbers is the whole reason I've always used Tenor instead of Giphy. At least now there's thumbnails of the uploaded gifs before they're finished so I know it's successfully started and in progress. A sticker, frame or anything to indicate that something isn't fully published yet would be useful too. Please add html embedding links for using in comments!

Okay, so since Dec 1 2023 till Jan 2024, Tenor website becomes more and more worsen than before. First, the memes and stickers UI with overlapped media thumbnails (They still didn't fix it). Second, Notifications is sometimes unusable (just "Upload GIFs, and you’ll get notifications when people share or favorite them" and nothing else). Third, Favorites is mostly gone blank and I can't even add my new favs. Sometimes I can only view my favs just for a few seconds then it goes "No Results".

I dunno if it's a technical issue or not, I used to be able to send the gifs to the Facebook messenger from the app directly, but now it doesn't work. the send option is still there, but when you send the gifs nothing happens. it doesn't show in the messenger anymore. I reported the issue to them a few times but haven't got any response.

The worst part is there's no option to create a gif anymore except to record... myself??? What happened to screen record? That was kind of the whole point that I could make my own very specific gifs. Now I can't do that. And now to see so many of my same complaints from others and nothing has been done about it so far... it's disappointing.

mine works perfectly doesn't crash like everyone else's. they probably put the app on their SD card, sometimes that makes it crash. Some apps will allow you to put move. Uh, apps to the external memory card. Sd card and it doesn't always work, sometimes the apps crash more if they do that, move it to the internal storage, and that almost eighty to ninety percent in time fixes the problem FYI.

I was loving this app- used it for the past 2 years , sending a dozen GIFs a day. Every topic or conversation I had received an accompanying gif, it was great. Plus no ads. And one day it just stopped working. Went through all of the troubleshooting recommendations, uninstalled it then reinstalled it, gave them all permissions, even ones they didn't ask for... But nothing helped. So I'm uninstalling it and trying something else, maybe WebM. 5 ⭐'s two years ago. But now i gotta give it just 3 ⭐

I liked it for a period of time. I'd use it mostly to send gifs to my family and friends through text or Messenger. But then it got really slow, took forever to load, and seemed to think I had no internet connection. But all other apps were working fine. I ended uninstalling it, and installing a different gif app.

Edit: Okay, so they fixed it and gave me all my favorite gifs back. I'm still missing my packs, but at least it's a significant step in the right direction. I used to love this app. I was able to view my favorite gifs. Now, after the March 22nd update, every time I open it, I get logged out, it doesn't show my favorites, and if I try to add new favorites, they're deleted after I exit the app. What gives? This app worked perfectly fine until March 22nd, then they completely butchered it.

Good app but I just got a new phone and was so sad to find that the gifs do not transfer, even if you log into the same account on both devices. Also if you uninstall and reinstall the app, you lose all your saved gifs. I lost years of saved gifs. I've decided transfer my uploaded gifs to Giphy and make that my primary gif keyboard, so I don't have to worry about this again. They retain all your stuff across devices, which is a much better experience.

I somehow don't know what the problem is...it is a very nice app...but I have 2 points why I gave this a 3 star... Number 1. It sometimes crashes when you open it.... And number 2. You can't save it to your gallery anymore...look, I have to go suffer and just download the gifs on Chrome but just keeps showing gray and blue boxes....please fix this bug...but over all, it's a nice app🙂

The gif search is very laggy and some of of the search results didn't show up (only grey boxes with no pictures). I have tried different ISP all the same. But when I used Whatsapp built-in giff (which is also Tenor gif), I have no problem at all, so it must be the problem of this app. Also, I need to wait around 5 seconds or more when I click on the gif I want to post in Line chat for the next screen to pop out, which is very lame.

Don't waste your time with this app. The devs can't do more than run their Tenor website if it's the same team. I can't log into this app anymore, I can't download gifs anymore (they save as pictures), I can't use the app's "Share" options anymore (when I press messenger for example it highlights the button and does absolutely nothing.) This is the poorest excuse of any type of mobile app I've ever seen. Really didn't expect this from Tenor. Uninstalling.

I was able to use this for the longest time until recently downloading it back on my phone. Now when I try to send a gif through messages it gives me all kinds of errors. Not sure if it was my phone or app or an update but I deleted and downloaded it again and again, restarted my phone but still getting same errors and won't let me do anything.

Takes way too long to review gifs being uploaded and has absolutely no way of allowing you to delete them either, if it's this time consuming at least give the option to quit or opt out of uploading, so we don't have to spend time waiting. I definitely could have tried on another app, that wasn't so slow. Also, what's with the poor quality? Even when the gif is short, it has such a grainy quality to it, the video is at at the highest resolution, but the gif ruins it.

Literally useless. I installed this app about a week ago. When I first opened this app, nothing would load. I tried signing up but that wouldn't work either because it just kept loading. I thought it was my internet connection that was causing it but it was working fine too. Did this same process everyday but nothing would work. Going to find a better app because this one won't work. Won't recommend wasting your time on this app if it doesn't work on the first try.
