This app is SOOO slow and buggy. It's absolutely garbage! Everything takes forever to load and reload constantly... It takes 30 minutes to gather a few items that should take 5 min! It is super frustrating. I order all my groceries online and other apps I use don't have any issues! Get it together FM, you are losing business because of this. Here's an idea... instead of feeding everybody the same bs apology, fire your current tech team and hire some people that know how to make a usable app!!!

Main interface is cluttered and full of ads that load very slowly even when all I need to do is check in for a pickup order. Frequently prompts for location access permission with no "stop asking" option. Does not correctly sync carts between two phones in the same household logged into the same account. It was actually better when it was first introduced - there were fewer ads, it didn't ask for location permission on every pickup order, and carts synced properly. It just keeps getting worse.

Bad organization, impossible to use list function. Click on a deal and it doesn't show up in a list at all. Click on "Show list" and it comes up empty. I've never been able to use a single app only deal, which are the only price competitive options. There's the normal price, the card price, the app price, then the subscription price; four prices, a convoluted user nightmare. If you want to design an app that works, go look at the dozens of grocery apps that exist first.

I have happily used the Fred Meyer app for several years, but recently, every time it is updated I have a lot of difficulty getting the app to work. Today was no exception. I spent time on the phone with the virtual customer service. A link was sent to my email to change the password, but it didn't work. It opens to a page where a blue bar moves across the page and a small circle keeps going around and round, but the page won't open. I'm pretty frustrated and disgusted. A waste of my time today!

Viewing the weekly ad is a bit frustrating. I greatly prefer the print version format. However, the app is much too sensitive when scrolling thru it... just touching the page to scroll down always results in accidentally clicking an item that you then have to back out of. I just want to move up and down the flyer without clicking anything. Please fix.

Nothing is actually performed in the app. Constantly opens my browser and requests that I sign in again. This is for any digital scans, info change, or any number of other tasks. The weekly add widget is nearly unnavigatable as it constantly pulls up a window for items when you try to move through the ad. It's a really sad app for a company as large as Fred Meyer/Kroger.

Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled like requested. It's still not working. Also now it's glitchy. Every time I make a list something is missing off it when we go shopping. It will show the item, then disappear unless you refresh it again. When you add multiple items to your cart it will not apply them and stay at a single item half the time. Just get your tech guys to fix it. That's what they're paid for. 😉

New update seems quite buggy. Keeps bouncing between my existing pickup list and starting a new list. Also, in my list, if there is an offered coupon, upon checking, it has some sort of failure message. Not a good time of the year for a buggy app. Added: Submitted my order then un-installed and reinstalled the app. May be working better, can't tell yet. But now it's offering to let me modify my order until 10pm tonight even though my pickup time is 6pm.

I used to LOVE the app. Now it's broken and useless for shopping! You cannot add ANY coupons, even the weekly add offers. Every single one says the coupon is expired. Been happening for a while now, Kroger is aware, yet it's not fixed. I can't use the website to scan items, and the website doesn't always find an item, so I'm stuck shopping at Safeway until they fix this. Will edit if Freddy's fixes this mess

This app is extremely helpful while shopping, I know where everything is in the store. That is, when it is functioning properly... There are so many bugs it is very irritating. For the past couple months there have been many issues. I am logged out every few minutes and sometimes my shopping list is wiped out?? I primarily use the app's shopping list, but sometimes it randomly defaults to shopping cart and will not allow me to make a list. I wish more effort went into making this user friendly.

The app constantly tells me there's an issue and is unable to clip coupons. I see deals in store that should show up on the list of coupons available that aren't. I also scan the ones in store, and a lot of the time it says "this coupon is no longer available". The other thing that is frustrating is now seeing more coupons that are for pick up or delivery only. Unfair to those of us who make the effort to do our own grocery shopping.

Like many people, the earlier versions were better, but it seems that Kroger has deliberately made it difficult to use so that coupons and discounts are not applied. Finding the weekly specials coupon is impossible and the app won't let you search the item. You are forces to scroll through hundreds of other itmes. At the checkout,any discounts don't get applied so they ask you to either cancel or line up at the service desk which would take you at least 30 minutes. It seems deliberate.

It was great up until a few updates ago... Can't clip coupons, or coupon not available, only see a certain number of coupons- can't tell me there's only 15 coupons available for the week! I've had to use the desktop version to get coupons. Can't see the full printed version of the ads, it stops a few pages in and cuts it off when there's obviously more stuff in the add to see (I'm not a fan of the new way of ads- give me the classic printed version also). Every update makes it worse

** Update ** I have to uninstall and reinstall almost monthly and it still won't work properly. It used to be a great app. It freezes and crashes constantly now. Adding milk to my shopping cart is a chore. The load times are ridiculous. It can take minutes to load your cart or search for an item. My local Fred Meyer pickup staff are phenomenal. This app has become such a headache that I'm using other grocery pickup companies now. Fix the glitches please so I can continue being a customer.

This app has had SO MANY issues, consistently, for the whole two years I've been using it. Sometimes my entire cart will get deleted, sometimes it'll add things to my order, the option to add things to an existing order is useless; if you forget something, you're screwed. If I add something to my cart, it'll add something completely different from what I want. Things disappear from my cart, quantities rise magically. I could go on and on. Issue after issue.

Worst app! Coupons will not clip, just says "pending" then goes away and coupon not clicked. It has the worst layout, so confusing. Will not shop there as often anymore if the good sales are now by "special digital coupons" only and I can't clip the coupons to get the sale price, your not worth shopping at. Especially with Safeway across the street and they have a functional app.

It shows expired coupons, instead of new ones. And if I get passes all of this, get what I need in the cart and the cousins clipped, it bugs out when I try to check out. I love the store and the products, but I've started using the website because the app is just too much of a hassle anymore.

Terrible app interface. Never works right and full list of available products do not come up when looking for substitutions. Edit: no, that certainly doesn't help developer- I have tried that many times over. It's absolutely something to do with the coding, as it is happening across the board to your customers on at least android, which is apparent by the other reviews. Thanks for the "tip" though!

If I could give zero stars I would. It gets worse with each iteration. The current bug this round is if I want to view the current new ad on Wednesday when it comes out, I have to Uninstall and reinstall for it to not register an error. Otherwise when I click on "view ad" it comes up with an error and no matter how many times I click retry it won't load. It should refresh. Maybe the programers need to lay off the Mt. Dew and R rated anime and do their job.

It's been a week and the weekly ads on this are still not updated. Still going to be shopping at Safeway until this is fixed. My family counts on coupons and deals from the ads to be able to shop at your store. Until this is fixed I'll be shopping elsewhere. Update your app if you want people to use it! Month update: Ads still not updating. I'm still shopping at Safeway. I did look up the ads on your website out of curiosity and was surprised those were working. Feels like it should be fixed.

I used to LOVE the app. Now it's broken and useless for shopping! You cannot add ANY coupons, even the weekly add offers. Every single one says the coupon is expired. Been happening for a while now, Kroger is aware, yet it's not fixed. I can't use the website to scan items, and the website doesn't always find an item, so I'm stuck shopping at Safeway until they fix this. Will edit if Freddy's fixes this mess

This app is extremely helpful while shopping, I know where everything is in the store. That is, when it is functioning properly... There are so many bugs it is very irritating. For the past couple months there have been many issues. I am logged out every few minutes and sometimes my shopping list is wiped out?? I primarily use the app's shopping list, but sometimes it randomly defaults to shopping cart and will not allow me to make a list. I wish more effort went into making this user friendly.

The app constantly tells me there's an issue and is unable to clip coupons. I see deals in store that should show up on the list of coupons available that aren't. I also scan the ones in store, and a lot of the time it says "this coupon is no longer available". The other thing that is frustrating is now seeing more coupons that are for pick up or delivery only. Unfair to those of us who make the effort to do our own grocery shopping.

Like many people, the earlier versions were better, but it seems that Kroger has deliberately made it difficult to use so that coupons and discounts are not applied. Finding the weekly specials coupon is impossible and the app won't let you search the item. You are forces to scroll through hundreds of other itmes. At the checkout,any discounts don't get applied so they ask you to either cancel or line up at the service desk which would take you at least 30 minutes. It seems deliberate.

It was great up until a few updates ago... Can't clip coupons, or coupon not available, only see a certain number of coupons- can't tell me there's only 15 coupons available for the week! I've had to use the desktop version to get coupons. Can't see the full printed version of the ads, it stops a few pages in and cuts it off when there's obviously more stuff in the add to see (I'm not a fan of the new way of ads- give me the classic printed version also). Every update makes it worse

** Update ** I have to uninstall and reinstall almost monthly and it still won't work properly. It used to be a great app. It freezes and crashes constantly now. Adding milk to my shopping cart is a chore. The load times are ridiculous. It can take minutes to load your cart or search for an item. My local Fred Meyer pickup staff are phenomenal. This app has become such a headache that I'm using other grocery pickup companies now. Fix the glitches please so I can continue being a customer.

This app has had SO MANY issues, consistently, for the whole two years I've been using it. Sometimes my entire cart will get deleted, sometimes it'll add things to my order, the option to add things to an existing order is useless; if you forget something, you're screwed. If I add something to my cart, it'll add something completely different from what I want. Things disappear from my cart, quantities rise magically. I could go on and on. Issue after issue.

Worst app! Coupons will not clip, just says "pending" then goes away and coupon not clicked. It has the worst layout, so confusing. Will not shop there as often anymore if the good sales are now by "special digital coupons" only and I can't clip the coupons to get the sale price, your not worth shopping at. Especially with Safeway across the street and they have a functional app.

It shows expired coupons, instead of new ones. And if I get passes all of this, get what I need in the cart and the cousins clipped, it bugs out when I try to check out. I love the store and the products, but I've started using the website because the app is just too much of a hassle anymore.

Terrible app interface. Never works right and full list of available products do not come up when looking for substitutions. Edit: no, that certainly doesn't help developer- I have tried that many times over. It's absolutely something to do with the coding, as it is happening across the board to your customers on at least android, which is apparent by the other reviews. Thanks for the "tip" though!

If I could give zero stars I would. It gets worse with each iteration. The current bug this round is if I want to view the current new ad on Wednesday when it comes out, I have to Uninstall and reinstall for it to not register an error. Otherwise when I click on "view ad" it comes up with an error and no matter how many times I click retry it won't load. It should refresh. Maybe the programers need to lay off the Mt. Dew and R rated anime and do their job.

It's been a week and the weekly ads on this are still not updated. Still going to be shopping at Safeway until this is fixed. My family counts on coupons and deals from the ads to be able to shop at your store. Until this is fixed I'll be shopping elsewhere. Update your app if you want people to use it! Month update: Ads still not updating. I'm still shopping at Safeway. I did look up the ads on your website out of curiosity and was surprised those were working. Feels like it should be fixed.

Viewing the weekly ad is a bit frustrating. I greatly prefer the print version format. However, the app is much too sensitive when scrolling thru it... just touching the page to scroll down always results in accidentally clicking an item that you then have to back out of. I just want to move up and down the flyer without clicking anything. Please fix.

I have happily used the Fred Meyer app for several years, but recently, every time it is updated I have a lot of difficulty getting the app to work. Today was no exception. I spent time on the phone with the virtual customer service. A link was sent to my email to change the password, but it didn't work. It opens to a page where a blue bar moves across the page and a small circle keeps going around and round, but the page won't open. I'm pretty frustrated and disgusted. A waste of my time today!

New update seems quite buggy. Keeps bouncing between my existing pickup list and starting a new list. Also, in my list, if there is an offered coupon, upon checking, it has some sort of failure message. Not a good time of the year for a buggy app. Added: Submitted my order then un-installed and reinstalled the app. May be working better, can't tell yet. But now it's offering to let me modify my order until 10pm tonight even though my pickup time is 6pm.

Main interface is cluttered and full of ads that load very slowly even when all I need to do is check in for a pickup order. Frequently prompts for location access permission with no "stop asking" option. Does not correctly sync carts between two phones in the same household logged into the same account. It was actually better when it was first introduced - there were fewer ads, it didn't ask for location permission on every pickup order, and carts synced properly. It just keeps getting worse.

Bad organization, impossible to use list function. Click on a deal and it doesn't show up in a list at all. Click on "Show list" and it comes up empty. I've never been able to use a single app only deal, which are the only price competitive options. There's the normal price, the card price, the app price, then the subscription price; four prices, a convoluted user nightmare. If you want to design an app that works, go look at the dozens of grocery apps that exist first.

Nothing is actually performed in the app. Constantly opens my browser and requests that I sign in again. This is for any digital scans, info change, or any number of other tasks. The weekly add widget is nearly unnavigatable as it constantly pulls up a window for items when you try to move through the ad. It's a really sad app for a company as large as Fred Meyer/Kroger.

Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled like requested. It's still not working. Also now it's glitchy. Every time I make a list something is missing off it when we go shopping. It will show the item, then disappear unless you refresh it again. When you add multiple items to your cart it will not apply them and stay at a single item half the time. Just get your tech guys to fix it. That's what they're paid for. 😉

This app is SOOO slow and buggy. It's absolutely garbage! Everything takes forever to load and reload constantly... It takes 30 minutes to gather a few items that should take 5 min! It is super frustrating. I order all my groceries online and other apps I use don't have any issues! Get it together FM, you are losing business because of this. Here's an idea... instead of feeding everybody the same bs apology, fire your current tech team and hire some people that know how to make a usable app!!!
