I live in USA and use this app for last 3 years to send gifts etc to families n friends. Recently I returned an item and decided to keep credit amount in the Flipkart app so I can apply the credit to future purchases. I have been trying to purchase an item and apply the credit portion towards that purchase. When I select giftcard / credt , it says enter OTP (one time password) sent to my USA phone numbee. Its been two days Flipkart never sent me OTP. I think the company stole my money. To me the amount is only around Rs.2,000. But if they steal this much from customers outside India, is definitely to look into this scam. So, be careful if you are choosing to accept credit when returning a product.
Had been using Flipkart since 2018. Had a nice experience. The products and shipment quality are good. And the app was fast and smooth until recently (from past few months) I have been having loading issues. When I open the app, it loads but if I click on a product and again click back, it doesn't loads at all. I have to again exit the app forcefully and remove from the recents and again click on the app. But sometimes it loads if I wait for 3-4 mins but still it's a waste of time..
Good App. Great job by developers! But poor job done by services and operations. Very bad delivery experience. Un delivered pin is shown as deliverable and after almost 2 weeks the product is cancelled. Very bad experience from operational point of view. Please be in sync with your sellers and update things right in the app. Else Amazon will eat into your profits soon. Especially with prime and other benifits. I am planning to buy the same product from Amazon even if it's a renewed one!
A person named Aashish came for pick-up of my return and I ordered fitness band only instead he was asking me for the whole watch and did not took my return. Hiring illiterate people and then blaming the customers is not the correct way of gesture. After giving proofs that I only ordered band he still blamed that whole watch is missing. If delivery agent cannot understand the proofs then what is the use of hiring them. This is kind of trouble for customers. Aashish even called someone and asked that person also said that “don't take the order” if watch is missing. This is not the way of misunderstanding your customers when person itself don't have enough information.
I've been using this app for the longest time, (since launch). The app is just more clunky now with the bigger text/UI size than competitors, and is more frustrating to navigate now. These are some of the bugs that I'm currently facing: 1. With the recent major update, the Reviews page is just completely broken. Images don't load 99% of the time. Most recent review toggle doesn't work - Shows a blank page. 2. Page loading error, as others have pointed out. 3. A lot UI/UX bugs.
Although the prices are less than other shopping sites, there are some problems with the app. Whenever I order something and pay the amount via UPI, it always shows order pending although the money has been debited. Whenever I try to go back to the home page it always shows 'something went wrong'. Hope you fix these problems soon. It's really annoying.
The basic functionality of the App, Order Tracking and order details, Doesn't even open!! Lol! , I get error page several times and 2 need to click minimum 10times to reload the page. What is the use of quirky graphics and other plug-ins where basic functionality doesn't even work?? SMS says order has been shipped but in order tracking page (only if it opens
Currently it’s doing fine in Cities but to be different and to be unique in the market and also to be more people friendly, it has expand its services to rural parts as well. It’s understandable it can’t be delivered small priced item as it exceeds price of item compare to delivery cost but at least for the services above 3k or 5K even with extra delivery cost service has to be available. India is nation of villages, many people want to services but unfortunately it’s unavailable. Any retail company which acquires trust of rural India, it will reach to new heights. So please expand your limits.
Worst shopping app ever. There is no guarantee that your product will be delivered to you. I have ordered something and when we were out of town they claimed as the product has been delivered. The delivery boy called me once but I couldn’t answer on that day . When we return I couldn’t find the product but in app it was shown that the product was delivered two weeks ago. I raised a complaint and got multiple calls saying that there will be a solution within 5days. But you know what they have marked as my issue is resolved before the promised time when they provided no justice. Didn’t give me a refund or the product delivery. Customer service is pathetic. I wont recommend.

They only send automated messages. U won't find any kind of resolution for ur complaint. And hey use ur reward points Immeadiately else if the reward points increase they will block ur ID's so that u can't use ur rewards..
