I have waited for a glitch/bug to be fixed for forever, which is using giftcards on the website/app. I have tried both and there is no way to use the giftcards on the app or website, and I noticed this happening since at least May. It's very irritating since I have no time to go to a Dairy Queen restaurant to use them, and they don't work on the app. Waste of 10 dollars.
the meal deal is definitely worth the price! Where else can you get a burger 🍔 ( or chicken strips) 🍟 fries, soda, AND a sundae for dessert 🍨 for only $7.00? I always order this from here, and I am never dissatisfied. I recommend this meal deal to everyone I talk to about fast food orders. This was my first time doing a mobile order for pickup, and it is way too easy. Always good service at this location (Scenic hwy in Pensacola) so I can easily say, this is a great place to go to eat!
The app is awkward to use, unusually clunky for a fast food app. When you downloaded there's no deal to start with, so I would have done just as well to walk in the building in order, especially since I ordered curbside and still had to go in and pick up. On top of that, three of the blizzards I ordered came out normal size, and one came out a solid inch smaller, so I might have gotten the medium size for the large price. An unimpressive experience all the way.
Mostly disappointing. I installed the app & logged in with Facebook to avoid having to fill in a bunch of details. The app still required some info, including mandatory "pick a favorite location". The only thing you need to worry about is what location in ordering from. I tried to order via the app, it says the location I picked is closed when I'm in the parking lot. I give up and order at the drive-thru, pay & ask if I can scan the reward code. No, you needed to do that first. Uninstalled.
The store locator does not work. Tried multiple times to even find any store and using different locations. Could not get the app to locate a single store. Yes, I had my GPS turned on. I even turned it off and on. It even found where I was located. But could not find any store. I even redownloaded the app several times as well, still the same result. Hopefully it works eventually.
This app is 2-stars only because it's functional. I can put in an order and eventually receive it. However, there is no update to the status of your order after submitting, only an "estimated time." I have consistently waited 15+ minutes for this time, and then arrived to have no food started at any location I've ever been. On top of that, the deals are pathetic and restrictive, often unusable if you change so much as a side or add a drink. Worst mobile food app I've used yet.
I have been waiting for this app for a long time. Loved it the one thing I will say is that they need to try to replicate the menus as much as possible so it's consistent in the app, instore, and on the kiosk outside. This is one of the things I hope they do because their competition doesn't. But ordering was really easy, liked that you see the available coupons right at the time that your ordering so you know what deals are available. Awesome job! Best ice cream in town hands down.
not only is this app confusing, and ugly, when. they are sold out of an item is tells you to remove the items that are not available, but fails to tell you what is not available. now let's talk about the add and remove customize item. want to take off onions? you will be very confused and gave no idea if it worked. even the summary is incredibly confusing. about as far from useful as you can get. one thing to say for McDonald's, they nailed it, DQ clearly is going for the opposite. poor work.
It's nice that I can look at the menu, but being able to order is a different thing all together. The first time I tried to order and pay, the app wouldn't register my debit card. Second time, tried using a deal that requires an online order. It registered my card but then gave on error stating "creditcard not supported at this location"
The app works great, I've rarely had issues; just once the store didn't get the order on their end, but they made it for me anyway. The order was cancelled eventually and my money refunded, so I tried to pay them the next time we went, but they were cool with it. I only wish the app allowed you to request to substitute chocolate soft-serve for the vanilla in sundaes and stuff. It's the one thing that is lacking.
The app would not send me a password reset email, even though I definitely have an account, so I can't get back into my account. Hopefully this gets fixed because the guest account is not great either. If you decide to make a change to the pickup type (inside or drive through), everything you've entered is cleared from the form (contact info and payment), so you have to re-enter everything.
I've tried to use the app but to pay for my order I need to enter my credit card data. Unfortunately, when I do, I get a message about credit card purchasing being unavailable. Using a gift card appears to be an option but no information is given about which gift card is acceptable. So, I can't order anything through the app. The app is nearly worthless. Very disappointing.
Would love to have reported this through a store, but they did nothing and didn't give us our receipt as well. when you have a glitch that makes a kids chicken strip meal 13.89...significantly more than the biggest adult basket. that's a problem. it's a BIGGER problem when the store can't figure out how to fix an error of this magnitude in their ordering system, proceeds to choose to lose a sale rather than find a way to honor the clearly correct price clearly listed on all the stores menus.
I placed an order on the app, however, the order never came through, it just kept coming up with an error message. I ended up going inside, and getting my ice cream, I paid with cash and sat down. As I was eating my ice cream, the app order decided that it was going to work for some reason, but I'd already paid for my order, and got double charged. The store directed me to DQ corporate, and corporate sent me to the franchise owner. Still no refund. It's been a month. DQ DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU!!
Couldn't add my cc so paid there. Had to do 2 different orders because we hadn't decided what ice cream we wanted after dinner there. Since I couldn't add a card I scanned my receipt for dinner. Then we ordered a to go order and banana splits. Said I had a daily scan limit??? Why??? I'm still spending money at your establishment so what if it's in the same day?!? So couldn't add cc and then wouldn't allow me to add points I would have gotten due to what seems to be a strange daily limit? Sad 😢
It's easy to earn points but impossible to redeem them. No matter what you add to the order, it says "your selected reward is not valid for this order." We had $27 of food and ice cream. And big surprise, there is nothing anywhere to tell you what you must order to be eligible to redeem points. I assume that the location I selected doesn't participate in rewards. It kept asking for payment after entering payment. I was so annoyed I cancelled the order and went elsewhere.
The app has been unusable for almost 3 years now. I just got a new phone and I thought for sure that my s25 ultra would have no issues. I was mistaken. The app continues to not recognize me as a continuing user and it continues to ask me to fill out account information that already exists. I'm stuck in a loop on the app for over 3 years! I've uninstalled the app and nothing. There is something wrong in the coding. Can someone from DQ get back to me? I can't even get my account online to work.
Suddenly app doesn't default to my saved DQ. Ongoing ssues I have are not being able to order ahead of time, option is there but I can't select it. If I plan on taking my kids for a treat, I'd like to order when I think of it, not have to do it 15 min before I get there, cause at that point I may as well just order in store. Second issue is that young kids and old people who don't have the app can't get free cones when DQ has free cone day.
I've used this app for over a year now, and it's.. decent. The UI is responsive and easy to use, but that's its biggest upside I'm afraid. The prices of DQ's food keep going up, with no change in the food's quality. The rewards system looks like it updated recently, and good lord, it'll take many months for me to earn enough points for anything worthwhile. It's kinda absurd. I only go to DQ occasionally, but that may turn to rarely. It's just so unjustifyably pricey compared to other fast food.
Don't get me wrong DQ is delicious and the in-app deals are great, but the app takes forever to boot up and it lists items that some locations don't have. It also doesn't have all of the soft drink options - it only shows 4 (coke, diet, sprite, and one other I don't remember) sweet/unsweetened tea aren't on the app anywhere and must be requested in person. Also, the dilly bar reward is more points when redeemed in bulk (200 for 1 vs 1250 for 6)

Also, the dilly bar reward is more points when redeemed in bulk (200 for 1 vs 1250 for 6)
the meal deal is definitely worth the price!

It's nice that I can look at the menu, but being able to order is a different thing all together. The first time I tried to order and pay, the app wouldn't register my debit card. Second time, tried using a deal that requires an online order. It registered my card but then gave on error stating "creditcard not supported at this location"
Couldn't add my cc so paid there. Had to do 2 different orders because we hadn't decided what ice cream we wanted after dinner there. Since I couldn't add a card I scanned my receipt for dinner.
The store locator does not work. Tried multiple times to even find any store and using different locations. Could not get the app to locate a single store. Yes, I had my GPS turned on. I even turned it off and on. It even found where I was located. But could not find any store. I even redownloaded the app several times as well, still the same result. Hopefully it works eventually.
not only is this app confusing, and ugly, when. they are sold out of an item is tells you to remove the items that are not available, but fails to tell you what is not available. now let's talk about the add and remove customize item. want to take off onions? you will be very confused and gave no idea if it worked. even the summary is incredibly confusing. about as far from useful as you can get. one thing to say for McDonald's, they nailed it, DQ clearly is going for the opposite. poor work.
