Too many ads. Everytime I lose or go to the next level it shows an 1 minute ad that I have to turn off wifi .There is also a problem with something called nommies race. Witch I am forced to do. There is no way to get rid of it. Even if you exit the game without clicking the button you are still entering the race. This game would be good if ads appeared less. the gameplay is fun but the ads are not. Please add A feature that makes nommies race optional. I just want to play the game

Awesome game, played it when I was younger, it's a shame to see it ruined and plagued by ads, its borderline unplayable, you can't play more than 2 levels before having to watch yet another ad. I would understand if it was a light, or free version of the game that once you buy it you get the ad free experience but instead it's a monthly subscription? Not a chance I'm gonna pay for that just to make the ads go away, I'll sooner just delete it and find something else to play

Good god has this game gone downhill. It's just riddled with ads now. every 2 or so failures in a level results with a pop-up in the the middle of the screen to watch an ad for a "FREE" powerup. It's like the game has been sold to EA. Then on top of that, every level past like 15 is a "Difficult Level" and it prompts you to watch yet another ad. I actually have to put my phone on airplane mode to play the game. It's agreagous. Used to be a fantastic game though.

I just want to preface this by stating that I'm *very* forgiving when it comes to ads in free games, but I quickly had to uninstall this. Too frequent, too long, utterly kills momentum and joy. I'd easily buy the game, but it's a subscription at $10 per month... not worth the price when it's just something to break up boredom on the road.

Bought the game for 3 bucks to get rid of the ads, but it still gave me ads for their other games. It forced me to use the game winning items I only had three of and it was annoying when it popped up the hint box when I lost the candy, just let me figure out! Also instead of unlocking future areas, I could just skip it by paying, thus ruining the fun.

Can't go one level without 3 popups, it's infuriating. No, I don't want to buy a cut the rope battle pass. No, I don't want to participate in a race for meaningless prizes. No, I don't want to watch an ad. I just wanted to play the game for nostalgia yet I'm barely able to do that. a depressing depiction of the crumbling state of mobile gaming and monetization's effects on even classic games.

This game was fun as a kid and still is, don't get me wrong. The game itself is amazing, the only problem Is the ads. They've fallen and have let greed and the need for money to take over, resulting in ads being almost well- everywhere. It makes the game dull and it isn't the same it used to be. It feels more like a task then a game now. So for now, my rating will remain as 3 stars. Hopefully 4 or 5, soon if this is resolved.

I reinstalled this game to bring back childhood memories, and hopefully get the same joy out of the experience! For the most part, the game was even better than I remembered, and getting 3 stars on the puzzles was fun, but the ads got to be too much. One thing I don't remember was having to stop every retry, or every 3 levels, just to see an ad for a trash game that probably is just going to do the same thing, an ad every minute. I love cut the rope, but it isnt like it used to be.

I have always loved this game, and being able to get the whole game free? That's awesome! My only issue is the ads. And yea, I know, nobody liles ads, but this is different. The ads are after every level, even if you just restart a level. It's insane. I understand that's how you get money but come on. It's frustrating and almost not worth it. Luckily airplane mode cuts the ads down a bit. There are still ads but not as bad.

I agree with the top reviews, especially with the longevity of the ads. Ads are okay, and paying a small fee to stop them is also acceptable, but the ads come up every single time I fail a level and are longer than the time I took to play the level. I used to enjoy this game years ago, but now it's just a cash-grab. Also, 10 dollar subscription just to stop them is too much. Most games do a 3 to 5 dollar down payment and no subscription fees. I reached the character limit.

Very fun and nostalgic puzzle solving game. The levels can be tricky even when you don't expect them to be, which I like. You're probably wondering "If you like the game so much, why did you only give it 1 star?". One word: ads. The ads are unforgivable. They appear when you least expect it and after almost every dang level. They're too spontaneous and annoying. They just drain all the fun in this game. Fix the ads and I'll fix my review.

I remember playing this on my mom's phone when I was little, and I loved the game then, so I got it as a mindless thing to pass the time. I think it's disappointing that now, there's a 15-second ad after every other box, which makes it very irritating when you're trying to just play the game. I understand that free games need ads for money, but still. Also, the fact that you can get a paid membership irks me, since I'd imagine most people playing this are little kids.

This used to be a pretty good game, paid for it forever ago and enjoy it so I decided to reinstall it to kill a bit of time. It has become another Angry Birds app where it is 'free' but absolutely riddled with ads. Play a 10 second level? Watch a 15 second ad! It is insane. Paid a few bucks for this game originally but now it is $10 just to play the game without ads **per month**! I have no idea how this is at 4*s.

This is a fun game, I have fond memories of playing it when I was younger. But the ads are absolutely out of control. The ads take longer than the level. I think it is reasonable to watch some ads for a free game, but not when there are more ads than playtime. Also, a 9.99 subscription to get rid of ads? No, thank you I deleted after 3 levels.

So Cut the Rope. They found a way to ruin it. There's almost more ads than gameplay, and they started promoting their other games at level 4. I know that free games require ads to make money, but companies need to know when there's too many. The worst part is when you beat a level, than a screen pops up that wants you to buy a premium membership. The button to do so is right over the button to go to the next level. This isn't meant to hate, but Zeptolab has stooped to a level far too low.

Generic ad-farm. Played this game in middle school when it first came out. It's great and the core gameplay is still as cute as ever. But devs became every other generic modern team and loaded the app with ads. Every two plays, you have to sit through ads OR be promoted to pay for the game. No integrity. Just as bland and eye-rolling as the next ad-farm. Go somewhere else. They're getting harder to find, but find a game/app that doesn't do this. Don't support these sellouts.

No game, i do not want to do a nommies race that randomly makes me replay levels for no reason, and I can't refuse doing it. And I also dont want ads after every second attempt. Every. Second. Attempt (including hitting the restart button). And I also don't like how the game has gotten more money hungry and now makes you pay for future chapters. What a greedy, pathetic turn of events for one of my favorite childhood mobile games. The $10 a month subscription service is also terrible. Disgusting.

Great game, really. I do enjoy it quite a lot, except that there's a 30 second ad after every single level, and the levels only take 5-10 seconds - which means you spend far more time watching ads than actually playing. Also, constant pop-ups within the game forcing you to click features that urge you to spend money. I understand you need to profit, but god damn tone it down a bit. Uninstalling because this great game is now impossible to enjoy.

I have Google Playpass, so I don't get ads, but it kind of defeats the purpose when it gives you an annoying pop-up to watch an ad every time you die to get a free hint, even if it's optional, it's very annoying. This even happens when I have bought infinite hints, making it absolutely meaningless to watch an ad. Other than that, the game is a very fun way to pass the time when you're bored, and I highly recommend it to those who like puzzle games.

Plays way, way too many ads. I get an ad every other level, sometimes multiple levels in a row, and I was playing a fresh game. The earliest levels take like 10 seconds to beat, and the ads were longer than that!!! And the only ad remove option it was giving me was $9.99 and came with a bunch of stuff I didn't care about??? just give me a $5 option that only removes the ads!

I love this game SO much. I played it when I was really little and loved it more than anything in life. Om nom is so cute and the game was fun and challenging. There are no glitches, the game is hard but not lose-your-mind hard, there are tons of levels, every level is unique and it’s probably the best game I have ever played. HOWEVER, there is one tiny* (*very large) problem: THE ADS. I can never get the timed stars because an ad pops up WHILE I’m playing. MULTIPLE ads play between rounds and sometimes the INTERRUPT you when you’re about to win and then they make you start the level over. I love(d) this game but now I can’t stand to play it. I know ads are a way to make money, but it’s a lot to play a non-skippable ad every other game, and you are playing 2 or three EVERY round! Some ads are fine but this is TOO MUCH and I will probably delete the game if it doesn’t change. I REALLY love this game and it’s very frustrating that I can’t even play it. I’m not going to say much more because it seems like EVERYONE gives this review and there is no response. I know you are busy but It’s really important to pay attention to what people say about your game because I don’t want to write a long and detailed review and it be a total waste of my time. Thank you.

When I was young I played this game so much. It was interactive, almost NO ads, and it was funny. However, when I play it NOW, there are ads EVERY SINGLE LEVEL, it asks me for a VIP membership on the FIFTH LEVEL, and when there is an ad, the X buttons are super small so if you want to click the X button you will once click the ad and end up on the ad game, making you angry. Then after the ad and playable ad is over, you get a FRICKIN GET THE AD AD, which destroys you. Two stars for this. Fix it.

So to start, I’d give it a 4.5 but that’s not how it’ll let me. Anyway. OM NOM IS ADORABLE ❤️❤️❤️!!! I used to play when I was young and decided when I got a mobile ‘Why not enjoy my work free life while it lasts?’ So I downloaded it. IT HAS CHANGED. I mean, did it change for the better??? Superpowers make it to easy. Ik this is aimed for younger kids but (Uh pet peeve don’t judge) I did, and still do, enjoy the game. Hints pop up after some time. The hints aren't hints they are solutions. TOO EASY. I am sorry, but I think they made it a bit to easy. AND WHY, EXPLAIN, DOES IT WANT ME TO WATCH SOME CARTOON??????? WHY??? I’m sorry it keeps popping up like “Watch Om nom now!” “Season (Xyz) came out yesterday! Watch now!” I mean, we’re not all 4 year olds are we?? And then there’s ads for other games made by same developers. Why do that? Ik they are like Om noms adventure or what not but I’m just there to feed Om nom. Uh I haven’t had much of an ad problem so there’s nothing to be said there. So, my opinion in which they should not have added is; 1, No superpowers. Like why? Much too easy. 2, Hints popping up like every 2 mins or so! 3 WHY THE DANG CARTOON???? And lastly, 4. I think they should ad a candy (acting as money) thing where you could earn candy by playing levels and feeding Om nom. Then you should be able to BUY the hints not just watch an ad. But there’s not to many things to be said abt this game. So I give it a 4.5! ❤️

Very hard to play and enjoy this game due to a crazy amount of ads. Yes, I know the devs get paid to place ads, but there are WAY TOO MANY. I finish one level, and there's an ad; I lose more than 2 or 3 times, an ad. Will keep this rating at 2 stars until there are less ads: because in general the game is good, but there are TOO MANY ADS.

Nearly unplayable due to ads: Used to be my favorite game, but now it is nearly unplayable due to ads coming after 2 attempts at a level (not even just 2 levels, but 2 attempts at any level). If they held off the ads until you completed 2 levels regardless of the number of attempts, it wouldn't be as bad. Right now, if I have to retry a level twice, not only do I feel bad for not completing the level, but then I'm stuck having to watch an add, and then I have to replay the level!

Why is everything being forced into a subscription model? $10 a month is about what most streaming services charge, but in this case, all you get is the privilege of playing a single iOS game uninterrupted by ads. There's no option to simply buy the game--it's either agree to hemorrhage $10 every month, or suffer through these ads. And let's talk about the ads. I fully support an ad-based model for a free game, and I wouldn't care if it were just banners that constantly ran at the top or bottom of the screen, or an occasional pop-up. That's not what we're dealing with here. These are full-screen videos that are at least 45-60s long that can't be skipped, and they run so frequently that you might spend more time watching them than playing the game. It's faster and far less irritating to simply force-quit and relaunch the app so you don't have to suffer through another one. Why does all this matter? Because beneath all these terrible publishing and marketing decisions is a fantastic, polished, and super fun game. I feel terrible trashing this game for things that have nothing to do with the game itself, but the free version is essentially unplayable this way, and $10 a month is outrageous. Do you think playing Cut the Rope ad-free should cost the same as an Apple Music subscription? Yeah, I don't either.

I love the actual gameplay, but there's an issue. While it is a nostalgic and perfectly challenging puzzle game, I feel like I'm getting more ads than actually playing the game. I think it would be a lot better if instead of every few resets, advertisements were just in between levels. There are also a lot of problematic glitches coming after this recent update.

First of all, I love this game. It’s so fun and challenging. I used to play this game all the time when I was younger, and it brings back great memories. But, I recently revisited this app and I am very disappointed. The app is mostly the same, but I’m disappointed about the ads. There’s too many. If you fail at a level, chances are you’re getting an ad. If you want to retry a level, chances are you’re also getting an ad. The amount of ads that games have to use today makes the gameplay less fun. It takes away from the game. I usually don’t mind ads, but when there’s so many that just pop out of no where, it’s disappointing. And I hate to leave a bad review on this game. I honestly love it. I really don’t think this game needs the amount of ads as it currently has. Sure, once in a while is ok. But, every single level? I know people that makes apps like this want to make money off of their apps, but I don’t think they have to go to the extent of ads popping up in your face every time. I’m ok with being able to watch ads for extra hints or something like that, but pretty much every time I fail a level or hit restart, another ad.

I have always loved Cut The Rope, but this new update has ruined it. No more feeling accomplished of 3 star boxes is one thing. But not being able to play at all is another! The last time I had played I got the candy to Om Nom, but it didn't send me to the next level screen, he just kept chewing. So, since this has happened a few times since the update, I reopen the app, and go to hit play. But it doesn't work. I was pretty far and do not want to reset my progress, go back to the old version

I used to play this when I was really little and I liked it a lot, so when I got my new phone I was like “why not?” and downloaded it, it is not exactly how I remember it. 1st off the superpowers, they make it super easy to pass some levels and totally ruin the game play. You get sooooo many hints so that when you finally get a level where you have to acutely try you have like 20 hints stocked up. + you get like 1 to 4 superpowers every day

Disgusting.

Thank you.

The worst part is when you beat a level, than a screen pops up that wants you to buy a premium membership. The button to do so is right over the button to go to the next level. This isn't meant to hate, but Zeptolab has stooped to a level far too low.

Fix it.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Fix it.
