Pretty bad. Ads EVERYWHERE, CONSTANTLY, that you can't get rid of, making the whole app unusable until you close out and come back in. They want $12/month or $30/year to get rid of the intrusive ads and have some updated features that are free with other apps? I need that $30 for groceries and gas. And the app doesn't even work that well! It's clunky and disorganized. Thanks, but no thanks.
I live on a mountain and finding a decent weather app is hard, I really don't feel like the free trial was long enough to fully test this app out. I thought I'd just try it with ads after the free trial was over but it was unusable. verrrrry long annoying ads. I'm sick to death of ads, so I don't mind paying, but i was hesitant to have to pay $30/yr without more of a trial. I found a free weather app that doesn't collect or share any data, so I'll be using that instead.
I read good things about this app, so I wanted to try it out. I downloaded the app and decided I would try the 7 day free trial. But the only options available (however disceptively presented) are a yearly subscription and a weekly with the first week free. That is not a free trial. That is a predatory trap.
This used to be my go-to app for weather, real-time radar, and alerts. I appreciate that you can report different weather outside, but there's only two really generic options: Rainy or Sunny. It also sends you notifications about the current temperature, which I also like, but if you go to a different town, it'll still give data on the town you were last in. And to do ANYTHING else, you need to have a subscription. Dude, you can't even view the future radar without it. 😑
Managing saved locations is difficult. If you travel a lot and save travel locations for local weather, you accumulate a lot of saved places. To delete them, you then have to scroll around the map, tap the bookmark. Not a bad idea in theory but in practice, when the map auto updates and centers on your location again... Regarding geolocation. It's inaccurate. I see it initially has my location correct but then it "corrects" the location to be about 10 to 15 mi away from my current location.
