I had trouble opening it as well as others. When I finally was able to open it after the update, I lost all of my notes that I kept track of for my daughter's development. I now wish I wrote them down in another spot instead of relying on the app to save them. My advice to others is to keep track of them separately so this doesn't happen to you too!

As so many others have said, the app won't even open on a Pixel 8, and apparently we have to wait for an update in the spring for it to (hopefully) work. The app was pretty good before, but isn't functional at all now, which is really disappointing.

Used to be a great tool for quickly screening child development. Kind of like a little developmental handbook. However now it requires filling out a questionnaire for each child. It also requires email for the summaries. The knowledge has been fudged behind data collecting tactics and misaligned priorities. A real pity.

I was using this app on my old phone (LG Velvet) and it worked well but on my new phone (Pixel 8 Pro) the app won't even open, it just crashes no matter what you do. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, forced stop, clearing the cache, clearing the data, nothing works to get it to open.

this is a great app for new and experienced parents alike. it's nice to know what is expected of children at each developmental milestone and there's some really great simple activities that you can do with your child to help them along. it's also reassuring that it is research-based. this app is free and worthwhile

Good for peace of mind that your baby isn't falling behind (and keeping track of where they are, if so). My daughter's pediatrician recommended it specifically because they ask the exact same milestone questions at every appointment. There was a brief period where the app crashed upon opening but it appears to be fixed now. I appreciate their timeliness in patching it.

I haven't been able to open the app for over a month now, I try checking on it/reinstalling every few days, but to no avail... it was a really wonderful app for keeping track of my one year old's milestones before that. You can still go online and check out the CDC's guidelines on their website, but you have to log everything separately. I'd like to see this app make a come back.

I wish there was the option to adjust for prematurity. Every time I go in to update a milestone, a page pops up at the end to tell me that I should be concerned and to talk to my child's doctor. I know the app is designed for typical development, but it wouldn't be that hard to have a button to click to say that your child is atypical and to adjust for a different age.

A good baby milestone checklist and it gives helpful reminders. There is an issue where it gives very unhelpful reminders if you answer "not sure" or "not yet" to FUTURE milestone months, ie 6m milestones when baby is 3mo, I find looking ahead useful to see what we should be practicing (grabbing, rolling over). This results in the app spamming notifications that your baby is delayed and you need to see a doctor right away, despite the app knowing baby's birthday and baby is actually ahead.

I love this app. It's so simple and makes me feel so good that my baby is checking boxes in her current and next 2 development phases. I think the tips are also great because they provide low/no cost ways to encourage your baby to meet milestones. You don't always need the fancy equipment and new toys! Babies love boxes and I'm sure you have measuring cups collecting dust. Bam, you're a great parent. Love it. Very thoughtful app.

The app was very useful and helpful when I was able to use it. I learned however, when I got a new phone, that it must have not setup an account for me, or rather, it seems to not use accounts, period. When I opened the app on my new phone there was nowhere to log-on. It was promoting me to start from scratch. So it appears I have lost data I had tracked about my baby and all my notes etc.

Poorly made app that offers no backup. Once you switch your phone, all progress is lost. The purpose of the app is to track milestones but it can be so much more. Perhaps, try some user acceptance testing before publishing an app. The design and tracking of the app could use some updates. Also, you guys deleted your videos on Youtube so there is no longer a reference to those specific activites.

It doesn't allow me to track additional milestones my baby has reached. My baby has reached all milestones 2-3 months earlier than when the app asks. For example, my baby started crawling at 5 months, but at 6 months it doesn't give me the option to input this. This app is absolutely no different than just googling a list of appropriate developmental milestones. I honestly can't see how this app could be useful to anyone.

I have enjoyed using this app since the birth of my baby. I have two kids who missed many milestones as babies and toddlers. This helped me really keep up and practice things coming up. if we missed a milestone I was more aware. I have been able to practice these so we can attempt them before concerns of intervention happen. Overall it helped me stay more aware which gave me peace of mind.

This app is fine for typically developing kids. I wish there were places to indicate special needs and modified developmental needs. To my knowledge, there aren't alternative developmental milestone charts even available. Which is really frustrating, for example of course my blind child is not pointing at pictures of the animals in books. But, there's no alternative Milestone checklist available for her. So, this really wasn't very useful for our family as most of our children have special needs

Was a great app but the latest update erased almost two years of longitudinal milestone tracking for my child. This was my primary resource for tracking this data as I never imagined an app from the CDC would be so unstable as to erase all the data with an update. As a physician, this is especially galling to me. I'll likely just stop using this app and return to the old days of using printed milestone tracking since it can't be trusted.

Downloaded this to use with and test for my clients' parents. The app won't even open without immediately crashing after reinstalling it multiple times and double-checking device settings and updates, so I definitely can't recommend it to the families I work with since it's unusable for me. On a Google Pixel 8 Pro if that makes any difference.

Was looking forward to using this, the day my baby turned two months, it started crashing. I never even really got to use it, because it is for 2 months and up. Go figure. Looking at the other reviews, I'm definitely not alone. It seems like y'all need to fix the updates.. until then the app is completely useless, as it won't even open.

I have been utilizing this application for approximately two years to monitor my son's developmental milestones, and it was previously an exceptional tool. However, I am encountering a technical issue where the application immediately crashes upon opening, preventing its proper loading. Despite multiple attempts to uninstall and reinstall the application, the problem persists.

The app was very useful and helpful when I was able to use it. I learned however, when I got a new phone, that it must have not setup an account for me, or rather, it seems to not use accounts, period. When I opened the app on my new phone there was nowhere to log-on. It was promoting me to start from scratch. So it appears I have lost data I had tracked about my baby and all my notes etc.

this is a great app for new and experienced parents alike. it's nice to know what is expected of children at each developmental milestone and there's some really great simple activities that you can do with your child to help them along. it's also reassuring that it is research-based. this app is free and worthwhile
