App worked great for a couple of months. Now, whenever we attempt to sign in, it shows "great to see you again. You are currently being signed In" with a big check mark, but never moves forward. it just locks up and does absolutely nothing. We've uninstalled and re-installed the app numerous times with zero success. complete frustration.

It's nice to have the coupons pop up when you scan in the app. It's really annoying to have the cart empty because you haven't scanned anything in the past 5 minutes or so. So I have to scan everything at the end, and the only reason to use the app over the self checkout is that it gives you the coupons. Thanks BTW for the automated reply that doesn't relate to my comment 🫀

I don't know what's happening but I can't use the app anymore. I've deleted n reinstalled and nothing works. after signing in, whether its trying to add stuff to the cart, clipping a coupon, anything. I have to then sign in again. this started happening about a month back. its frustrating. I dont want to stand in the long lines and this was very helpful in not having to do that

As of the past few months, the app has become practically unusable. It often crashes, it struggles to switch pages, and takes a long time to respond to actions. I've reinstalled plenty of times. This is on an up-to-date Samsung S24 Ultra by the way. As a customer, this is not only very frustrating but disappointing for a store that wants to go app-first when it comes to orders, shopping in-club and coupons.

Extremely disappointing. When Express pay was first introduced, it worked great. Now it's unusable. Half the time the app refuses to acknowledge that I'm inside the store, even when connected to the store's wifi. When it does work, it will periodically clear out the whole cart in the middle of shopping, forcing me to rescan everything. And, if I do make it to checkout, occasionally it refuses to check out with some generic, unhelpful error.

My online order, placed on my membership expiration date, was accept (got a confirmation email) then cancelled for my "security and protection" (bank verified it wasn't them). I applied rewards $ to the original order, but they were not available when I tried to re-order shortly after the cancellation. I was told by customer service they would be returned to my account in 2-3 days. I'm afraid I'll loose my rewards $, or having to pay a 20% surcharge on a perfectly valid order.

having same issue as alot of users I don't have time to do the shopping so at down time at work I always think the app and a curbside pick up will be faster. But. . . by the time it logs in (it can take up 20 min to log in) and then button presses won't add items. finally you get to check out and it gets stuck. it took me almost 3 hours to place an order for a handful of items. the time was so late for the pick up at that point I just wound up wasting 3 hours and then shopping after work myself.

This app is horrible. Most of the time you can't log in and connect to the service. I have tried logging out and back in. Nothing. I've tried Uninstalling and re-installing. Nothing. Considering you need the app to do express check out in store you can't get all the benefits of having the app. This includes digitally clipping coupons. Try to do that online and it immediately tried to open the app. And is just cycles that little check mark.

the app only gets worse! I've had issues for months with this app continually being slow and buggy and now for the past 2 months I can't even sign in. it says I'm signed back in but never loads past that page. I've had to use the website to clip my coupons and make online orders which is also slow and buggy and the worst part is you CANNOT check in on the website, ONLY THE APP! This makes no sense and so I can't do drive up pick up because I have no way to let them know I'm there.

I haven't been able to log into this app for months. I can log into the webpage but links for checking in don't work. I have cleared the cache, cleared data, uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times and all it does is get stuck on the log in page. The app should work with my android device and both the app and my device have had all updates completed. This is very frustrating and I've had to shop elsewhere due to all the issues.

The express pay feature in this app is HORRIBLE. If for any reason you close your phone, or switch apps (like if you get a phone call or you need to check a grocery list or something like that) the scan just stops working. You have to force close the app and pray that when it opens again that the scanning works and that the app remembered the items in your cart. I can't count the times this app forgot what was in my cart and I had to rescan the ENTIRE order again. TERRIBLE in store experience!

horrible. I have several memberships such as these. The problem is your store is going in the right direction but your app for shopping is horrible. It crashes all the time. Brought it up to staff and they agreed. Something has to be done to correct this matter. If you buy alcohol you cannot on app and have to go to check out. The amount of items is capped on the app. All around if you are going to compete in this market something has to be done. I could simply email this information but.....

The BJ's app never works when trying to check in for online pick-up orders. It just keeps buffering. If I wanted to pick-up in-store, I'd choose in-store pick-up. There's gotta be a way to resolve this. Maybe try allowing the option via the website as well so we aren't inconvenienced. I say "we" as I'm not the only one having this issue. There's always someone else sitting at curbside having the same issue. Please fix this. I've also left it as feedback and received no response.

I used to rave about this app. I loved that I could scan my cart as I shopped, clipping digital coupons as I went, and then skip the checkout line. But I haven't had a successful experience with this app in weeks. It loses my cart progress if I switch to another app, the scanner goes black/unusable every time after one or two scans, and the search feature on coupons 100% of the time produces "no results" even though I've typed the exact name of the product.

I like the expresspay option but the app struggles to identify that I am in the club. It also freezes up if I switch from the app to my shopping list and back - often kicking me out of the expresspay and back to the home screen. Sometimes that causes the entire cart to empty and I have to start from scratch. It would be more convenient if it showed you membership card/barcode at the top of the homescreen.

The app is frustratingly slow and buggy. It will hide the keyboard while you're typing, half of the button clicks simply will not register, items cannot be added to your cart from certain screens (despite the button being available), claims your phone number cannot receive SMS and then immediately sends a confirmation text after an order. There is basically no benefit to using this app over just accessing their website instead.

I love this app (when it's not misbehaving)! I'm not sure if there was an update recently that fixed the performance issues I was having, but it's snappy as can be now. Self-scanning up to 30 items saved me serious time by skipping the checkout line. And if a coupon is available for something I scanned it automatically reminds me before checkout, so I never miss out on available coupons. Highly recommended! Edit: scan camera is wonky again! 😩

Poorly developed app, the scan and go feature is a joke, you scan and the item either go to the cart or not you have to guest if the items remains at the cart or never made it there, or after you scam all your items the app stop working and you lost the items on the cart.... really? I am considering taking the long drive to Sam's Club or Costco. canceling my membership soon enough. Besides, the store is small with little variety, there is little value in shopping there.

It's ok, but needs improvements. I've successfully placed an order for pickup and picked it up as well as used Express pay. with express pay, I had to enter my payment information multiple times, even though I said to save it. coupons NEED to be EXPLICITLY clear in their terms (min. $ spent required, not just ANY which is 0). I need to be able to see if I qualified for the 50 cents off gas reward and when it will expire. it shows nowhere. There are positives, but needs LOTS of improvements.

I love this app (when it's not misbehaving)! I'm not sure if there was an update recently that fixed the performance issues I was having, but it's snappy as can be now. Self-scanning up to 30 items saved me serious time by skipping the checkout line. And if a coupon is available for something I scanned it automatically reminds me before checkout, so I never miss out on available coupons. Highly recommended! Edit: scan camera is wonky again! 😩

I've successfully placed an order for pickup and picked it up as well as used Express pay. with express pay, I had to enter my payment information multiple times, even though I said to save it. coupons NEED to be EXPLICITLY clear in their terms (min. $ spent required, not just ANY which is 0). I need to be able to see if I qualified for the 50 cents off gas reward and when it will expire. it shows nowhere. There are positives, but needs LOTS of improvements.

The app should work with my android device and both the app and my device have had all updates completed. This is very frustrating and I've had to shop elsewhere due to all the issues.

The express pay feature in this app is HORRIBLE. If for any reason you close your phone, or switch apps (like if you get a phone call or you need to check a grocery list or something like that) the scan just stops working. You have to force close the app and pray that when it opens again that the scanning works and that the app remembered the items in your cart. I can't count the times this app forgot what was in my cart and I had to rescan the ENTIRE order again. TERRIBLE in store experience!

horrible. I have several memberships such as these. The problem is your store is going in the right direction but your app for shopping is horrible. It crashes all the time. Brought it up to staff and they agreed. Something has to be done to correct this matter. If you buy alcohol you cannot on app and have to go to check out. The amount of items is capped on the app. All around if you are going to compete in this market something has to be done. I could simply email this information but.....

The BJ's app never works when trying to check in for online pick-up orders. It just keeps buffering. If I wanted to pick-up in-store, I'd choose in-store pick-up. There's gotta be a way to resolve this. Maybe try allowing the option via the website as well so we aren't inconvenienced. I say "we" as I'm not the only one having this issue. There's always someone else sitting at curbside having the same issue. Please fix this. I've also left it as feedback and received no response.

I used to rave about this app. I loved that I could scan my cart as I shopped, clipping digital coupons as I went, and then skip the checkout line. But I haven't had a successful experience with this app in weeks. It loses my cart progress if I switch to another app, the scanner goes black/unusable every time after one or two scans, and the search feature on coupons 100% of the time produces "no results" even though I've typed the exact name of the product.

I like the expresspay option but the app struggles to identify that I am in the club. It also freezes up if I switch from the app to my shopping list and back - often kicking me out of the expresspay and back to the home screen. Sometimes that causes the entire cart to empty and I have to start from scratch. It would be more convenient if it showed you membership card/barcode at the top of the homescreen.

The app is frustratingly slow and buggy. It will hide the keyboard while you're typing, half of the button clicks simply will not register, items cannot be added to your cart from certain screens (despite the button being available), claims your phone number cannot receive SMS and then immediately sends a confirmation text after an order. There is basically no benefit to using this app over just accessing their website instead.

Self-scanning up to 30 items saved me serious time by skipping the checkout line. And if a coupon is available for something I scanned it automatically reminds me before checkout, so I never miss out on available coupons. Highly recommended! Edit: scan camera is wonky again! 😩

Poorly developed app, the scan and go feature is a joke, you scan and the item either go to the cart or not you have to guest if the items remains at the cart or never made it there, or after you scam all your items the app stop working and you lost the items on the cart.... really? I am considering taking the long drive to Sam's Club or Costco. canceling my membership soon enough. Besides, the store is small with little variety, there is little value in shopping there.

I've successfully placed an order for pickup and picked it up as well as used Express pay. with express pay, I had to enter my payment information multiple times, even though I said to save it. coupons NEED to be EXPLICITLY clear in their terms (min. $ spent required, not just ANY which is 0). I need to be able to see if I qualified for the 50 cents off gas reward and when it will expire. it shows nowhere. There are positives, but needs LOTS of improvements.

It's nice to have the coupons pop up when you scan in the app. It's really annoying to have the cart empty because you haven't scanned anything in the past 5 minutes or so. So I have to scan everything at the end, and the only reason to use the app over the self checkout is that it gives you the coupons. Thanks BTW for the automated reply that doesn't relate to my comment 🫀

This app is horrible. Most of the time you can't log in and connect to the service. I have tried logging out and back in. Nothing. I've tried Uninstalling and re-installing. Nothing. Considering you need the app to do express check out in store you can't get all the benefits of having the app. This includes digitally clipping coupons. Try to do that online and it immediately tried to open the app. And is just cycles that little check mark.

I don't know what's happening but I can't use the app anymore. I've deleted n reinstalled and nothing works. after signing in, whether its trying to add stuff to the cart, clipping a coupon, anything. I have to then sign in again. this started happening about a month back. its frustrating. I dont want to stand in the long lines and this was very helpful in not having to do that

As of the past few months, the app has become practically unusable. It often crashes, it struggles to switch pages, and takes a long time to respond to actions. I've reinstalled plenty of times. This is on an up-to-date Samsung S24 Ultra by the way. As a customer, this is not only very frustrating but disappointing for a store that wants to go app-first when it comes to orders, shopping in-club and coupons.

Extremely disappointing. When Express pay was first introduced, it worked great. Now it's unusable. Half the time the app refuses to acknowledge that I'm inside the store, even when connected to the store's wifi. When it does work, it will periodically clear out the whole cart in the middle of shopping, forcing me to rescan everything. And, if I do make it to checkout, occasionally it refuses to check out with some generic, unhelpful error.

My online order, placed on my membership expiration date, was accept (got a confirmation email) then cancelled for my "security and protection" (bank verified it wasn't them). I applied rewards $ to the original order, but they were not available when I tried to re-order shortly after the cancellation. I was told by customer service they would be returned to my account in 2-3 days. I'm afraid I'll loose my rewards $, or having to pay a 20% surcharge on a perfectly valid order.

having same issue as alot of users I don't have time to do the shopping so at down time at work I always think the app and a curbside pick up will be faster. But. . . by the time it logs in (it can take up 20 min to log in) and then button presses won't add items. finally you get to check out and it gets stuck. it took me almost 3 hours to place an order for a handful of items. the time was so late for the pick up at that point I just wound up wasting 3 hours and then shopping after work myself.

the app only gets worse! I've had issues for months with this app continually being slow and buggy and now for the past 2 months I can't even sign in. it says I'm signed back in but never loads past that page. I've had to use the website to clip my coupons and make online orders which is also slow and buggy and the worst part is you CANNOT check in on the website, ONLY THE APP! This makes no sense and so I can't do drive up pick up because I have no way to let them know I'm there.

I haven't been able to log into this app for months. I can log into the webpage but links for checking in don't work. I have cleared the cache, cleared data, uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times and all it does is get stuck on the log in page. The app should work with my android device and both the app and my device have had all updates completed. This is very frustrating and I've had to shop elsewhere due to all the issues.

App worked great for a couple of months. Now, whenever we attempt to sign in, it shows "great to see you again. You are currently being signed In" with a big check mark, but never moves forward. it just locks up and does absolutely nothing. We've uninstalled and re-installed the app numerous times with zero success. complete frustration.
