Super convenient and easy to manage. It makes it so easy to be consistent with growth and memory. It's easy to loose track of thought when on a phone, the home launcher and the tool bar make it easy to not only memorize scriptures but to remind yourself to do daily readings. It's even on the lock screen. I love it. Only down side is in the tool bar. It would be better for the other icons such as games, videos etc. To be biblical related to keep the them and be part of the app programming not ads
One of the best bible apps I have found. It has a variety of options to choose from. From reading the word, customized reading plans to adapt to your schedule. Devotionals, a selection of articles to choose from, that covers just about everything you can think of. It even has a bible quiz that test your bible knowledge. I love it! Highly recommend! I wholeheartedly love this Bible app in addition to another one I have installed. The way you organized it is beautiful and so easy on my eyes! I do have many Bibles, but the size of the print makes it hard to read at times and I lose my place. I'm still checking it out and exploring, but I commend you for an outstanding job in bringing God's word in a convenient way any time, all day!
Pros: an app drawer! My phone did not have a way of locating apps until I downloaded Bible Home! I like the Bible reading and study sections, they are not deep, but provide a jumping off point each day. Cons: the app keeps crashing every week or so. There is an extraneous collection of icons (news, videos, market, personalise, games) on the front page of my phone that downloaded with the app that I do not use and cannot delete.
Just started using this app, and I absolutely love it! At first I thought it was just another Holy Bible e-book. But turns out it's an actual Biblical home screen for Android products! Seriously, this has changed my whole experience with using just my phone. I would highly recommend this app for anyone with a strong faith in God. With Him, all things really are possible. - Cris
This is the best!!!! I wish i had it sooner cuz i can keep notes from church, read the bible, have daily plans, and I'm sure there's more i haven't found. Lol the only thing is that it changed some of my icons on the home screen but I'm not worried cuz it organized everything alphabetically so it's actually very organized!!!!! 💯💯💯 10 stars
It is easy to navigate where you have been and left off through the bible home app. Overall it has benefited me greatly but would be nice if there was a dictionary function or at least let me highlight to copy a word to study. The bible versions are nice but when selecting a different version it goes back to the top rather than letting you read the verse easier. Overall thank you!!
Dunno why it creates a virtual home page. All of that is nonsense. Offer a simpler version of this app. Otherwise you have to deny 10 different ways it's trying to take over your device. It's not very persistent, but completely unnecessary. Whoever thinks a bunch of tiny added features is helpful, needs to go back to school. The simplicity of navigating any Application should be the number one priority. User friendly, and minimal screens and options. You don't have to sacrifice features either.
I swiped right and I was satisfied with the "news" being replaced by faith based articles. I like that it makes my phone prioritize things this way & have been more connected w/the word while I'm on my phone. I like that I can click that verse and read more context. And the other features. My suggestion would be to let ppl know it will re arrange their home page & the verse/weather widget keeps vanishing along with some of my icons. Besides that, I love it.
Great tool for Bible study and spiritual fulfillment, however you're severely limited in terms of translations, as far as I can tell there's no way to use alternate versions (NLT, NKJV, ETC) which is a huge shame as many other apps offer every translation. The home change was shocking at first but overall I enjoy it more than the standard home layout. Will update to 5 stars if custom translations are allowed, otherwise there are better ways of reading the bible
Awful app. I downloaded for the Bible and devotional. Your app completely rearranged the apps on my phone AND added widgets without my permission. I could not uninstall from my phone until I came back to Google play and clicked the uninstall button. Everything was moved. Themes removed and replaced. Beware of this app. I'd give zero stars if I could.
You might like this app , but wait until it wants to take over your phone , as it did mine , and it blocked me from doing anything else on my . It took a week , and even Norton had a very hard time getting them to stop . We tried to force stop , but it didn't stop . It was horrible. So much anxiety it has caused me!!!! Why would a Bible app cause such misery , I'm looking for an Attorney this got really bad. I even had to get a new phone . They used the candy crush ad pop-ups to stop everything.
I can say I was at first very excited with this app. I was uncomfortable big-time the way it took over everything. I couldn't personalize nothing without the app involved. That's just not cool. So, I decided after it started interfering w/ everything & freezing up my phone, that I'll just go back to my sweet Bible on the endtable next to me. it feels more like the God I know~gentle not pushy. get focus groups & listen! Make a Bible app that awes, delivers, when opened only. God Bless
WARNING!!! I INSTALLED THIS APP & IT IMMEDIATELY CLEARED ALL OF MY SETTINGS, INCLUDING APPS ON MT HOME SCREEN. It took us quite a bit of research to uninstall it as it wouldn't react in the normally uninstall methods. We had to use the settings in the notifications and permission screens. Once uninstalled, my phone was back to normal. It behaved obnoxiously and I don't recommend anyone risk the security of their phone by installing this app.
Installed because it had features that I thought would be great. As others have stated. It does rearrange things and it does state that it will (if you bother to read it, or the comments about the app.) I would not have installed it had I read beforehand. That's on me. * I had some trouble finding how to delete the app. Force stoppped the app which allowed my phone to go back to normal. From there I was able to uninstall. I have not seen any viral activity as was suggested by others.
DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP!When I added this app to my phone, several other apps appeared, too. Some apps and widgets that I had had disappeared. When I tried to get them back, I could only do so by giving this Bible app access to all of their data! I was just now able to uninstall this app, and everything went back to what I had before. REPEAT: Do NOT install this app.
DO NOT INSTALL!!!! This app will rearrange and change everything and take over your phone. Home screen, everything has been changed. This app is horrible. There is no reason it should have changed all of this or be this difficult to get rid of. Is just a virus. To uninstall go to apps and change it so that it's not a default app then you should be able to uninstall it. Got it uninstalled but I worry about what it may have left behind or that I may have been hacked before I could get rid of it.
The app took over my phone! Wouldn't even let me go to home page without opening it first. Also wouldn't let me uninstall it without going to settings and change all of it's permissions. If you're not savvy as to how to things work this app will scare the hell out of you. And now every other post on my news feed is an invitation to install it. SCARY!!!!
The APP is nice, but it gives excessive adds, and also adds additional APPs during it's operation that interferes with the functionality of my Phone. Had to uninstall it, and all related APPs. Can't use them because of the bugs you added that causes all the failures. I won't reinstall it again. You also have to stop GOOGLE from adding it to its add system. I'm also going to report these issues to GOOGLE. End of Line!!!!!
I saw a review from another person saying it changed their home screen completely and ruined their phone, but I thought "well maybe that was just their phone" so I downloaded the app and IT DID IT TO ME TOO. Everything on my phones interface changed: shape and design of my app icons, my phones default type font, the placement of my apps, everything. It even changed my internet search engine! The other person wasn't able to delete the app but I was lucky enough to be able to do so. Don't do it!
Very annoying. I appreciate my Christian brothers doing hard work for the Kingdom, but, this app put a different UI on my phone. I don't want to waste 30 minutes of my life swirching it back. I can't uninstall it like normal. I can't come back to playstore and uninstall either the app doesn't cone up I typed Bible. Had to go the long route. It doesn't get into reading the Bible right away and make it easy. Plus there's only like 9 versions of the Bible on it. No NKJV. For me this was headache.
This app is a hacker! It is also not a 4.8★ as I read other complaints where it happened to them as well. I feel like many of these people with five star ratings are made up! I had a hard time uninstalling the app. I finally went into my settings and was able to find where to uninstall. For the people that say they cannot uninstall, you have to go into you Google settings if on Android and find manage apps pull up this list of all apps then you can uninstall. These are tricky hackers, people!
BEWARE. This app has hijacked my home screen with a widget that EATS UP BATTERY and can't be removed. It has made itself my default search engine. And it apparently cannot be uninstalled. Unlike all the other apps on my phone, there is no uninstall option in the app settings. When I attempt to remove it through the Play store, it just skips me back to my home screen. I really don't appreciate such tactics.
