Not great. No way to bring up the keyboard on mobile. I have to use the Windows on-screen keyboard (from Start Menu--> Ease of Access), which has its own issues. Tried using a Bluetooth keyboard. The app may reset or crash when the Bluetooth keyboard connects or disconnects. Finally did get it to work though. Bluetooth mouse works no problem.

Worst product. Using in my laptop and its the most frustrating and worst product I ever used.. Everyday issue while using the work space.. Please please fix all the bugs and then kindly release it into the market..

Visualy good, but needs some work. It's draining my battery...10% in 10 min.. I normaly don't even have to charge my mobile every night. Keybord doesn't pop-up if one is in a text field. Would be practical.

Good, and then bad. I will log in on my chromebook, the screen will turn black, and then it will cycle me through the log in page over and over again. It didn't use to do this when I first started using the app.

Never find how to show the keyboard, you can just click arround the screen. Also you cant see any options for mouse control or anything. And disconnect automatically if is background for 30 seconds, so for multitasking you need to re-connect again and again

"The current version of your Amazon WorkSpaces client isn't compatible with the agent software installed on your WorkSpace. Update to the latest version of your client, and then try to log in again. If you need help, contact your administrator."

Handy way to access a workspace on-the-go, however, the interface can be quite frustrating to use. I'd prefer an easier way to pull up and close the keyboard, a way to adjust zoom, and a quick access way to send common key combinations (Ctrl+c, Ctrl+v, etc).

Slow and painful to use. I don't know what's going behind the scenes but it makes my phone extremely sluggish. Zooming in, trying to bring up the keyboard, and then inputting characters into a field is damn near impossible.

SILLY APP. not allowed to use the web client, all Linux clients are broken, even mobile apps is producing major device issues (phone literally stuck for about 3 minutes and all System UI crashed). I haven't seen such broken products before, this is unbelievable

Great App. You can access your desktop from mobile, can type and send mails as you would do on a desktop. Its your mini Desktop on the go. Highly recommended.

Rethink the flyaway top bar. It should only be the center of the application akin to the way Microsoft RDP does it. For instance, when connecting to a Windows 10 workspace that's full screen, you want to go to the top right and click the X to close a windows app like Outlook. Unfortunately, the workspace app itself overlays it's own window exactly where you want to click because it assumes you're trying to leave the workspace window and not simply X out of something at the top right of the screen. This means you've got to very gingerly move the pointer near the top right to trigger only the current application window. If you go to far, you'll almost certainly exit out of the workspace.

Amazon loves to keep adding to bill but they forgot, they're not even letting me login to the workspace. Even it's the latest version of client, it says it doesn't match with the installed operating system on workspace, therefore I should get the latest version of the client app. Same problem on desktop as well as mobile.

Can't be used for mobile with new registration codes. Literally tells me to update to the latest version and try again, except this IS the latest version. 🤣

Generally an ok client with good streaming, but not nearly as good as Jump and other RDP clients. Two biggest current annoyances are: Saved credentials just does not work, you can enable the option, and it even prompt to save credentials, but you go to another app and come back, it has disconnected you and just prompts for credentials all over. Hopefully a bug that can be fixed. Copy/paste doesn’t work. I can’t manage to copy any text into a workspaces session. Once I thought I managed to copy text out to the ipad. Again, just too buggy for production use. The relative/touchpad mouse mode scaling makes the mouse fly around at a uselessly fast speed. That mode should be for fine control, but the opposite is true. Again see Jump for how to do mouse control well. The connection status display just says ‘calculating’ forever, how long does it take to calculate a ping time? About 54ms I figure :-) The radial dial has not option to disconnect _and_ hibernate/stop the instance.

Ugh!!!! STILL broken. Please fix the display issues on iPad 11” Pro. If I select 1600 x 1200 on an iPad Pro 11, there’s a 1-2” strip on the right side of the screen that doesn’t display anything but the wallpaper. If you drag something over there or maximize a window, anything that is in that strip is missing. Still there, because you can click on where you ‘think’ things are and they are there, you just can’t see them. Also, the double tap and drag would be useful as well. Lastly, it would be nice if the sound only paused other sounds already playing and then resumed them. In other words, if you have music playin the background, it stops totally when using your desktop. Stinks. But the display issue prevents me from using this. Click on “App Support” and a web page says Access Denied.

App constantly logs you out no matter if you've clicked Remember me or not. It's as if no one at Amazon has ever even used it themselves. Super frustrating stupid app.

this app is pointless i keep getting a authentication error for the connection workspaces with WSP protocol is only working with my desktop version of this i needed this to work on the ipad this error i am getting is unable to establish connection because its not talking to the authentication server and claiming my internet is not working

On Samsung S7+ using keyboard - The app works well for most part. The most helpful feature would be if there is an option to save the login credentials or enable fingerprint. This version requires MFA credentials to be entered everytime the app is opened, becomes painful if you need to reach for a device for authentication. The backspace from the keyboard is not recognized. Drains battery almost 2-3X quicker than using a browser intensive usage.

In 1600x1200 display mode, when you minimize windows, a strip of the right side of the window remains. In 1600x1200 or 1024x768 the very right side of the screen will not let anything show up on it. If you click the date to bring up the calendar, the popover calendar appears, but the right edge of it is truncated off, so the week ends at Thursday, there is no Friday or Saturday. When you drag windows, often the right edge of them will disappear. Edit: it took an awfully long time, but it’s fixed! The whole screen is usable now. It’s gone from “I can make do in a pinch” to “yeah, it works. I can just do my work without any fuss”

I use this app a lot on the iPad, for both personal and business use. Connections are very solid, and the interface is responsive. I find mouse support to be very good with my propoint. What is terrible is keyboard support. Control and Alt are not recognized on iPad keyboards with the exception of ctrl+c, ctrl+v, ctrl+x. Even better would be support for the command key to remap to the ctrl key as on the Mac client. Either way, the current solution is so limiting for power users, no app-switching, no easy access to app shortcuts, etc. I find myself logging into my Mac remotely and then using the Mac client just to use keyboard shortcuts, but that slows things down significantly. Please improve keyboard support.

It gets to the point where I have to log in the second time after regestering the login and password and once I put it in the second time it goes back to the first page and says there is no connection when it clearly says it is connected and everything is fine. I need this fixed for school puroposes. I've been fighting this for two straight days now.

Slow and painful to use. I don't know what's going behind the scenes but it makes my phone extremely sluggish. Zooming in, trying to bring up the keyboard, and then inputting characters into a field is damn near impossible.

SILLY APP. not allowed to use the web client, all Linux clients are broken, even mobile apps is producing major device issues (phone literally stuck for about 3 minutes and all System UI crashed). I haven't seen such broken products before, this is unbelievable

Great App. You can access your desktop from mobile, can type and send mails as you would do on a desktop. Its your mini Desktop on the go. Highly recommended.

Rethink the flyaway top bar. It should only be the center of the application akin to the way Microsoft RDP does it. For instance, when connecting to a Windows 10 workspace that's full screen, you want to go to the top right and click the X to close a windows app like Outlook. Unfortunately, the workspace app itself overlays it's own window exactly where you want to click because it assumes you're trying to leave the workspace window and not simply X out of something at the top right of the screen. This means you've got to very gingerly move the pointer near the top right to trigger only the current application window. If you go to far, you'll almost certainly exit out of the workspace.

Amazon loves to keep adding to bill but they forgot, they're not even letting me login to the workspace. Even it's the latest version of client, it says it doesn't match with the installed operating system on workspace, therefore I should get the latest version of the client app. Same problem on desktop as well as mobile.

Generally an ok client with good streaming, but not nearly as good as Jump and other RDP clients. Two biggest current annoyances are: Saved credentials just does not work, you can enable the option, and it even prompt to save credentials, but you go to another app and come back, it has disconnected you and just prompts for credentials all over. Hopefully a bug that can be fixed. Copy/paste doesn’t work. I can’t manage to copy any text into a workspaces session. Once I thought I managed to copy text out to the ipad. Again, just too buggy for production use. The relative/touchpad mouse mode scaling makes the mouse fly around at a uselessly fast speed. That mode should be for fine control, but the opposite is true. Again see Jump for how to do mouse control well. The connection status display just says ‘calculating’ forever, how long does it take to calculate a ping time? About 54ms I figure :-) The radial dial has not option to disconnect _and_ hibernate/stop the instance.

Ugh!!!! STILL broken. Please fix the display issues on iPad 11” Pro. If I select 1600 x 1200 on an iPad Pro 11, there’s a 1-2” strip on the right side of the screen that doesn’t display anything but the wallpaper. If you drag something over there or maximize a window, anything that is in that strip is missing. Still there, because you can click on where you ‘think’ things are and they are there, you just can’t see them. Also, the double tap and drag would be useful as well. Lastly, it would be nice if the sound only paused other sounds already playing and then resumed them. In other words, if you have music playin the background, it stops totally when using your desktop. Stinks. But the display issue prevents me from using this. Click on “App Support” and a web page says Access Denied.

App constantly logs you out no matter if you've clicked Remember me or not. It's as if no one at Amazon has ever even used it themselves. Super frustrating stupid app.

On Samsung S7+ using keyboard - The app works well for most part. The most helpful feature would be if there is an option to save the login credentials or enable fingerprint. This version requires MFA credentials to be entered everytime the app is opened, becomes painful if you need to reach for a device for authentication. The backspace from the keyboard is not recognized. Drains battery almost 2-3X quicker than using a browser intensive usage.

It’s gone from “I can make do in a pinch” to “yeah, it works. I can just do my work without any fuss”

I use this app a lot on the iPad, for both personal and business use. Connections are very solid, and the interface is responsive. I find mouse support to be very good with my propoint. What is terrible is keyboard support. Control and Alt are not recognized on iPad keyboards with the exception of ctrl+c, ctrl+v, ctrl+x. Even better would be support for the command key to remap to the ctrl key as on the Mac client. Either way, the current solution is so limiting for power users, no app-switching, no easy access to app shortcuts, etc. I find myself logging into my Mac remotely and then using the Mac client just to use keyboard shortcuts, but that slows things down significantly. Please improve keyboard support.

It gets to the point where I have to log in the second time after regestering the login and password and once I put it in the second time it goes back to the first page and says there is no connection when it clearly says it is connected and everything is fine. I need this fixed for school puroposes. I've been fighting this for two straight days now.

Visualy good, but needs some work. It's draining my battery...10% in 10 min.. I normaly don't even have to charge my mobile every night. Keybord doesn't pop-up if one is in a text field. Would be practical.

Handy way to access a workspace on-the-go, however, the interface can be quite frustrating to use. I'd prefer an easier way to pull up and close the keyboard, a way to adjust zoom, and a quick access way to send common key combinations (Ctrl+c, Ctrl+v, etc).

Not great. No way to bring up the keyboard on mobile. I have to use the Windows on-screen keyboard (from Start Menu--> Ease of Access), which has its own issues. Tried using a Bluetooth keyboard. The app may reset or crash when the Bluetooth keyboard connects or disconnects. Finally did get it to work though. Bluetooth mouse works no problem.

Good, and then bad. I will log in on my chromebook, the screen will turn black, and then it will cycle me through the log in page over and over again. It didn't use to do this when I first started using the app.

Never find how to show the keyboard, you can just click arround the screen. Also you cant see any options for mouse control or anything. And disconnect automatically if is background for 30 seconds, so for multitasking you need to re-connect again and again
