Airtable

One of the worst apps I've endured for two years. Airtable really dropped the ball on this app. Do NOT expect to use this app as a regularbsolution for on-the-go mobile data entry / updating your database. The app often doesn't save paragraph text field data, and if you switch to another app for a few moments to copy something, chances are you'll have to renavigate back to the base, view, and row you were just on. The app was easier to endure before Airtable recently changed the plans.

Great app, Have been looking for a good database app & this is exactly it. Only one issue is that after setting up a "base", it takes forever to do the initial setup & the app feels like it's stuck loading. But once it's done, it's as speedy as anything.

This app has gotten worse over the years... Every time you switch to another app and come back, it forgets what record you had open and goes to the main home page, forcing you to start over. It's such a displeasure to use this app that I stick to the browser site and force desktop view. It makes using Airtble unenjoyable

I'm having issues with loading on my Android. Every time I click in the top left corner to switch sheets it is spinning and not loading the page. I can work inside my current sheet and I can switch bases. An additional tiny issue-- I can't click on a URL in a note field on an iPhone like I can on Android. I have to edit the note and copy and paste into the browser.

I use Airtable at my job and was hoping the app would be a big help when I'm on the go. NOPE. Every single time I try to check notifications, the app freezes, refreshes and then shuts itself. It is so frustrating and something that has happening for at least the past 6 months. I reported it but the issue hasn't been resolved. I finally uninstalled this morning because it's useless to me if I can't even check notifications.

It's easy to use. However, mine downloaded with a bug. I'll be working on a project. It'll save, but then instead of moving to the next task I need to perform, it'll shut down and exit the app. I'll have to reenter or clear catch before I can continue. When my phone has me clear catch it reports a bug on the app.

I'm so happy to have this app, the company I work for uses airtable as the core of our business, and as a remote worker, having access on the go is a huge game changer. I'm leaving one star because the app is crashing like crazy, I've already uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, can't find a reason why. Please fix it so I can leave five stars!!!

We use this app for work. It's ok except for the fact that it doesn't want to work at all for me unless I have a full wifi signal Which can be very frustrating when trying to access a file on a job site. I normally have to connect to my cars wifi to get a better signal so it will open the app. Otherwise it's great for what my job uses it for. Wish we could upload video to it though. Only can upload pics and files but doesnt support video.

Airtable is a game changer! I use or for both personal organization and at work. It has filled the gap between Google spreadsheets and custom apps. My only complaint and the reason I give 4 stars is I find the pricing very limiting for personal use. At work we use advanced features and the pricing is reasonable. For personal use I can't justify the subscription cost. I would happily pay a cheaper subscription with additional feature limitations for personal.

Works for the most part, but it's very slow. Lots of spinning loading pages that take forever, and on android you can't open the app from a notification, and can't open a comment from a notification inside the app. It'll spin forever and never load. It's irritating when you have a ton of tasks and can't find that one comment or reply

No time blocking? I can't find any view, base, or template that is relevant || I gave it another try, recently (on desktop). Vastly improved! I will be using this site in my daily life. On the app... Much like everyone is saying, incredibly limited. Basic templates not available to work with. I'm sure they're working on it!

I am using this to keep track of my whiskey collection. The app used to have a real nice card layout that I customized to show the most important stuff first, but in a recent update that all went away and I'm left with this awkward spreadsheet view that just doesn't fit on a phone screen like the cards did. The cards still exist on desktop, but I like having the app so I can reference my opinions and prices quickly while out shopping around, and its become a lot more difficult to use.

Scammers! I signed up for a $24 account, added a user to set things up, which apparently doubles the cost of the subscription. It's fault for not seeing the small print (would have just given that user my email/password instead). Got a bill for 6 times the amount because when you add a user and then remove them, you are charged each time. I added a user and then removed them for security reasons (least privilege principle), then added them back again to fix something and then removed them again.

The app is serviceable (barely) but is missing some very basic features. List view and form view are not supported at all. The app looks and feels nothing like the desktop version so it can be disorienting to switch between them. My staff really dislikes the android app. Overall, we like Airtable and we pay a lot of money for it. We would like to see more effort put into the mobile app very soon.

* Update changed the way tables/views scroll sideways, leaving a descriptive header for each row, but I'll be OK with it eventually, since I see what the goal is. * Searching for a barcode that resulted in no records, then tapping the (+), I think would add a record with the barcode, but no longer does. * However, the change(s) to the individual record view is driving me crazy. The older, I think more compact, view seemed better to me. Missing features available on desktop and web browser.

The only thing I want to use it for, editing a form and seeing responses, should be simple and easy, but it's literally impossible in the app. It tells me "This view cannot be displayed in the Android app yet" and tells me to use a desktop browser. The mobile browser also tells me to use the Android app even though it's not available in the app. It's been this way for a year, at least. What gives?

Takes forever to load. Some boards load immediately, but the main one my company uses spins for well over 15 minutes without any results, even for just my personal view. Makes it impossible to check comments, update the status, or even create new cards. The organization for the one board I can view is a mess, splicing together everything into a blob separated only by the color of the tag. Considering that you're forced to use the app on mobile, the least it could do is be functional.
