This game was always super cool and a great way to spend time, especially in waiting rooms. There's so many ads now that it's basically unplayable unless you turn your data/wifi off. It's still a fun game, but I'm disappointed with long pop-up ads. Especially when they pause my music to play whatever generic audio.
used to work fine but for the last couple of months I've been unable to play bc it forces itself into landscape mode on my s24 ultra. I'm not trying to game that hard, y'all. this is supposed to be a casual game... I want a refund if they can't fix this. I've been playing bejeweled for like 17 years or more, I miss it... (used to play it on my mom's computer when I was a kid)
don't get me wrong, I love bejeweled and have been a fan since its inception. PopCap did an amazing job with this game and it truly is a joy of gameplay, visuals and especially sound design. But, when EA bought the studio and ported this along with other games, they turned it into a hellscape of ads and microtransactions, tainting the experience for all players. I understand that there needs to be ads for a free product to turn a profit, but an ad every other minute is egregious and a shame.
Cool if you really enjoyed Bejeweled 3. Unfortunately most of the minigames are locked behind playing 5 times in 24 hours. You can pay to have these lifted which is fine. You technically have the option to watch an ad to play again, but the app crashes when you try to do that. Each minigame is a separate purchase and also no ads is also separate. It's way too buggy in this regard to justify charging for it. Just play Candy Crush lol.
2 stars cause it's a good game... when you can play it. The ads are absurd. I uninstalled the game when I realized I had to play a timing game by hitting the game mode I want to play before an ad pops up. And if you don't tap fast enough you get sucked in to an ad that forces you to go to Google play and there is no way to get back to the game without exiting and reloading. That's pretty wild people. Have your ads, no doubt.... but don't be a nuisance.
