doesn't work! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! I had it for a month and it was super limited, as soon as I signed up for a subscription it forced me to re-verify my profile photo and never accepted it. 72 hours after signing up, 4 failed "manual verification requested/in progress" and not being able to do a damn thing I deleted it. Zero response from customer service other than automated responses. EDIT: Only after writing a bad review did I finally get contracted, don't waste your time.
+It's less predatory than other apps. ~MBTI was developed for corporate team torture and has no scientific backing, so using it for a dating app may not be the best choice, but at least it's different. -I get a lot of false alerts from the app, which is annoying - new souls near you, opens app, no souls found, and similar. ~There is a community that you can interact with, but it's not for me. -There are not nearly enough people in my area for a subscription, so can't comment on value.
Even when you buy a "lifetime" membership ($200), this app still makes you buy "super loves" (3 for $10) to contact people who are considered "spotlight" (ideal for you, matches or people you've shown interest in. previously.) very disappointing. It's small and limited. possibly because the service is relatively new, and not many local matches or options. will rerate later perhaps if they get rid of the micro transactions that you have to buy on top of a membership.
I am impartial with the app. I appreciate the lack of ads, but I wasn't expecting to have to pay to use the app, so I currently have limited access. The lower rating is due to a combination of pay gates and not fully understanding the icons. For an app that pushes towards gamers, they sure do lack in explaining how to navigate and use the available features.
The interface is new and fresh and the list of interests is great. Other dating apps have a limit of 8 on your interests. However, I ran out of "souls" (dumb name for living people) weeks ago. Not enough people using the app. Also, the app challenges you to rate it EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU OPEN IT. Fine. You got your review. Hope you like it. Can't do much unless you pay for it. It is not free. Don't believe the lie. I will not pay for an app that has no one available to match with.
