I really wanted to like this app. when you first start the ads are not very intrusive, but after playing for about a week the ads come more and more frequently. It's to the point that its after every word I play. The only way to get around it is a $7.99/month subscription. I would be happy to pay a 1 time purchase if I enjoy the game, but a monthly subscription is just greedy.

I like this game, but I find it extremely hard to win on the higher difficulty. Granted, I don't have the largest vocabulary, but it seems less having a smaller vocabulary and more the tiles you get. Versing harder difficulty, I seem to get multiple of the same letters a majority of the time. It's either almost nothing but vowels or almost nothing but consonants. Meanwhile, the computer will throw out big words with a variety of letters most turns.

its fun but the ads are STUPIDLY INCESSANT. you get one after every single turn you play, so depending on how fast you can come up with a word you're getting an ad every thirty seconds. if, once in a blue moon, you dont get an ad, you get a popup advertising an ad-free version of the game. i dont care that you need to make money off of this, this is over the top. the button to close an ad is often difficult to hit because its stupidly small. edit: i am NOT paying $8 a month for slightly less ads

Changing to 1 star. Not only is there an ad almost every single time you take a turn, but also pop up ads to spend money in their cash shop. Again, fun game, but the absolutely ridiculous amount of ads makes it pretty unbearable. More ads than any other game I've ever played. Fun app, but extremely annoying to play.

The game is fun but recently it's nothing but ads. You do one move for 2 seconds and then you have to endure 1-2 minutes of an ad that won't go away. I'm amazed advertisers pay for ads that are so obnoxious nothing could get me to ever use their services! I just clicked on the contact button and all I get is an AI that is programmed to repeat the same thing over and over again, using the classic broken record technique: if you don't want ads, give us money.
