I love this game, I truly do. I have put so many hours into this game. However, the ads are starting to kill me. Almost every single crossword, every minigame, the second you finish it, you get an ad. I understand having ads, especially for hints, but EVERY OTHER GAME is absurd. I'm a very fast crossword player, and I feel like I spend more time watching ads than PLAYING THE GAME. I cannot in good conscience recommend this app. If the game is unplayable without buying "No Ads", it ISN'T FREE.
I have to close like five different windows when I open the app before I'm even able to play a puzzle. Bonuses, specials, weekly events, blah blah blah STOPPPPP just let me do a crossword puzzle or two while I'm in the doctor's office waiting room. And don't get me started on the ads. Puzzles themselves are also very easy and don't require much thought or effort. Was only gonna give this 2 stars but then I saw the AI generated art for thumbnails in the app so now it's one star and an uninstall.
Game is fun but extremely railroaded. I just want to log in and just solve crossword puzzles but it seems like every time I log in I'm railroaded into playing some other mini game or feature I'm not interested in. Also the game will automatically activate one of the coin based aids to help solve the puzzle when I don't intend on using it. Lastly, a lot of the puzzles are repetitive. Other than that, it's a good crossword puzzle game and great for killing time while solving puzzles.
This is one of the WORST apps I have downloaded in a long time. The game is always crashing, like in the middle of a level and when you finally get back in, you have to start all over. The ads are also horrible 1. They are so loooooong and then if you don't hit the X just right you're brought to the play store, go back to the game; hit the X again and guess what you're back in the play store! Do this a few more times and yay you hit the X just right but then guess what happens..the game crashes
Don't bother with this game. This is more like a game show than a puzzle. While the puzzles are good (I've done 3) you must first jump through hoops 😔 Open the box for a prize, spin the wheel for a prize, join the competition, do this, do that, do this again..... and only then does the puzzle open. But then, something scrolls at the top of the screen and covers the puzzle, or pops down. Must delete!
