I use Samsung Notes regularly and it's become one of my go to apps for staying organized. I love how easy it is to jot down ideas, make quick to do lists, or even sketch when inspiration strikes. The handwriting recognition and syncing across my Samsung devices are super convenient. The app is clean, intuitive, and versatile, which makes it great for both personal and professional use.
This App is completely amazing. very practical for note keeping. I started using it a year ago when I first purchased a foldable phone and now this app is an important part of my work day. It lets you keep your notes organized, so now I can find specific notes very quickly. The voice recording along with the note keeping makes it very useful for remembering specific ideas. I use it out of work for keeping track of my ideas, but where this truly shines is for work or class notes.
I use this often to jot down thoughts, things I need to remember and to-do lists. I've also been using it to write drafts of poetry or short stories or ideas for writing them when they pop into my mind. Very convenient! Especially late at night when I'm in bed. I love how easy it is to format text, and save as files in different formats or invite others to take a peek and share feedback.
Samsung notes are extremely convenient. The more functions they have, the better. Great way to organize data, poems, lyrics, anything you can write or type & the search feature quickly looks at not only your titles but also data w/in your notes. PDF function. I would love to see their direction toward formatting, layout views, tables, margins, etc. similar to Word, that would be a one-stop app for me. ...just saying (SG22 Ultra) I see some really upgraded functions they've added for SG25 Ultra!
I'd be lost without my Samsung Notes! I use it CONSTANTLY! I can do tons of stuff in it and then customize my Covers, so that when I pull up All Notes, I have them color-coded and can tell financial from projects from recipes. It's so easy to use! I have large fingertips, so using a phone's keyboard is often awkward for me. My S22's stylus (housed inside the phone when not in use) is a lifechanger! I've been with Samsung's stylus phones since the Note 3 (I'm old!). Get a phone with Notes NOW!!!
Useful for a shopping list that slowly accumulates and won't get delt with until a later time like pay day. Also, I made a note of some profound thing that I wanted to remember because I rarely have a profound thing that I want to remember. A teacher once told me that the difference between a (man) and a (successful man) is no more than a to-do list sometimes.
Notes is a necessary tool. If it is a short term goal like a shopping list, or long term goal like joting down notes, planning for the future, five stars. The drawing function, bullets, fonts, all also add to the ability to take notes. Pretty sure any additions to the app would be greatly appreciated by a lot of people on their journeys
I have been using this app more than expected. Creating lists and any notes I need is a breeze. I really like how it allows me to keep any list or note separate right out the gate without any need for a tutorial. Just decide which you're creating, make a name for said choice and type away. I had used any do for years and finally gave this app a try in January 2025. Glad I did and haven't looked back since!
I rely a lot on my Samsung Notes app. if I have a thought to save for later, note. If I need to remember something for a short time, like what carousel to go to to pick up luggage, note. Want to write out a long Facebook post without the app deciding to refresh in the middle of it and erasing my progress, note. This and the Reminder app are lifesaver for me
I wish it had folders, and it's a little annoying waiting to write something in the same note after closing my phone because it's updating, but that's more cause my memory is that of a goldfish, hence the need for notes lol I also wish, when you drew something, it stayed with the page location it was drawn on, instead of crowding over typed text added in later, simply because they are two different layers overlapping each other. It still gets the job done.
I highly recommend this app. It's simple to use and navigate and wont disappoint.. Have you ever been working on a work assignment, poem, school essay etc., and forget to save your work so you can continue it later? Now you're freaking out & so stressed because you know you're going to have to completely start over & hours of your work & life is now GONE 4ever. You can Breathe, bc this app automatcally saves everything, every single time.! just reopen and continue. Hope you feel it a try🤗
I've been using Notes for years and honestly have had zero complaints. New features pop up and I'm happy but I'm pretty basic about my notes. Don't need frill and it works without needing to use em. Overall, I love having the notes app. I especially love making checklists I can checkmark. I can save just about anything in here. I'll save links. Write a long message out before sending. I have many uses for this app. Easy to use too.
I love this app! For 3 reasons 1) It is shareable as soon as you open it. If someone adds or you add updating all. 2) As soon as a letter is clicked, it is saved. You never have to worry about losing info or rewriting 3) If i don't write my thoughts within a min or 2, the squirrels get me. I am able to grab my phone, open the app, and do different notes. I used to get overwhelmed when I was handwriting things down, then try to combine from multiple notebooks I ❤️ 💖 love the app.
The best notes app for me! It has a good amount of structure and customizability. I love being able to upload and mark up pdfs without the extra fluff or confusion. The app has a variety of pen options and endless color options. I like that it syncs between my phone and my computer too. The only feedback I have is that I would love to be able to change the orientation of the page to landscape, to have different fonts, and to change the background of the drawing page.
Great app for taking notes, especially for school lectures and business meetings. I'm retired now and I use it to take notes in doctor visits. The app has a neat feature where you can record a meeting and take notes, then jump back to a note you took and the recording automatically jumps there as well. You can also insert pictures, drawings, and other objects. Especially good if you are using the SPen, but you can also type notes if you don't like the pen or your device doesn't support it.
I like the font & format options available in Samsung Notes. I also like the option to add a text box, so when I go off on a rabbit trail it doesn't take so much room, but I can minimize the space but recall the info with 1 tap. I do like the handwriting feature and all the colors & pens available for that as well. I've changed my phone a couple times and everything has transferred right over without any problems. I wish there were a web based version so I can use with my work computer!!
Freaking love this app. So useful, handy, quick, easy to organize and color code. The only downside is that I can't print right away, I have to close the note, then re-open it to print, but I can definitely live with that minor annoyance. When I need to print an EVERNOTE note, I copy and past it here, then close this note, then re-open it and I can print!
This app is great & allows me to keep up with important info. I also use it for recipes. It's really easy to use. UPDATE: 8/8/2025 I have been trying to figure out if I could save a NOTE to WORD or copy & paste so I can save it. I just asked the question in the app & it said I could by clicking the dots at the top right. I tried that, but it I couldn't find SAVE FILE anywhere in the app. HELP
I love Samsung Notes, I've been using it for YEARS and just transferring my Notes from phone to phone. However, I will say, I miss the earlier version where you could do sooooo much more. You could open your camera app in it and such. there are certain features it used to have that have been removed, and it's taken away from the fullness of the features. Otherwise, it's still very useful, and I use it every single day, multiple times a day.
It's a pretty good notes app. you have lots of different options for fonts, backgrounds, and colors. It can convert handwriting into text, you can share right from your phone to someone else or your own other app/ device, it can sync your notes across devices, you can lock notes so they are private and make it so that you can only access that note with a password or a fingerprint. I use this app all the time. and I do recommend you give this app a shot.
Mixed feelings. This app has just about every feature you could want in a note app. Check boxes, voice notes, attachments, sketches, handwriting to text, reminders, translation and more. Syncs to my tab s8 perfectly. But... no web app and that's huge! Sometimes I want to add and organize notes on a desktop or laptop. I hope a web version becomes available. Then it's a perfect 5 stars.
This app would be so great with a couple more features. I want to be able to make my pages landscape, I want to be able to hyperlink in the app between pages. So hypothetically I can create a table of contents, insert a link for every chapter, click on the hyperlink and go to that chapter. I have to use a third party app (Canva) to be able to do that right now. I had to re-do an entire calendar. It would be cool if it could also somehow connect to the Samsung Calendar app, like as a widget.
Very good app for just taking notes. I used this app almost daily, keeping a long grocery list with the Checklist tool. However, when I got my new phone(Galaxy Z fold 4), I found the boxes you tap to check off each item you've completed or bought has been reduced in size by at least 60%. So now I have to manually zoom in, tap the box and then zoom back to normal....every time. If there's a solution I'm unable to see, I'd gladly bump this rating to a 4☆ and rewrite this to reflect.
It insists on trying to synch my files with some cloud thing that I refuse to set up for obvious privacy reasons. There's apparently no way to switch this off. And it takes a short while for it to try this and then pop up the warning. So just as you're about to touch one of your notes, the screen suddenly updates with this annoying warning, and causes you to touch the wrong place on the screen. Give us a way to disable the program from trying to coerce us into setting up the cloud backup.
At one time, the undo button on Samsung Notes was very prominent, and it was easy to make revisions to notes. The undo button is no longer available and swiping up, which is supposed to be the way to undo entries, does not work for me... As a result, I lost a note that was several years old in which I make daily entries. Not good!!
