I love this store! I am so glad they have a app. But... It takes like 3-5 minutes to load up a page, and you have to re-login every time you open the app. My LOGIN'S don't work anymore. And yes, you need multiple logins. It's hard to keep track of all the stuff in my cart because of it. I also have to reset my password every time. Sometimes when I login it shows cart, then glitches. If they can make it faster, fix the logins, and the bugs, THEN I will give it five stars.
Literally every item you select is removed from your cat because of "insufficient stock." I get items being out of stock, but the site nor the app tells you that. Seems like every item is in fact, out of stock. I've also had items ordered, had them held at my local store, told they couldn't hold it "due to insufficient stock", went to the store same day to find 5+ of that item on the shelf.
I love 5 below the store &the app, where I can find what they sold out of in stores, etc. But what I didnt like was the fact that I was still expecting a $5 shipping fee when I ordered 1 thing from the 'five beyond' section, but the shipping price was also raised. How is it that you can buy multiple $5 items and still only get charged a $5 shipping fee, but when you purchase 1 item over $5, it raises your shipping cost?
I ordered from five below, money was taken from my account, then they tell me it's cancelled and money was put back into my account but I never saw any money returned to me in my bank account. Then they ask me how well they handled the situation and I said 1 star and how money wasn't returned to me and no one has reached out for months. It's been almost if not two weeks already. Also for the items in your cart, you can't click on the items, which is dumb.
My first experience ordering from Hollar went very badly. The order was weeks late arriving and contained less than half of what it was supposed to. HOWEVER... from my first contact with their customer service when the order was late... I was responded to quickly, personally, and with apologies. I was kept informed throughout of what had happened and why. I was rapidly refunded for any items not delivered. I was given a store credit and free shipping on my next order if I decided to try again..
4/24 update: "easier to use" my foot. No longer can you sign in and view your shopping cart from device to device. No longer can you have your information saved because they made "checking out easier and faster"? And we can now(?) Pay with PayPal... ya mean the way I've been paying the last year or more? Rating down to 1 star. 10/23 Works well 60% of the time. [...] I appreciate that I can get my items delivered for a fair price.

I made a 5 item order for pickup, and they canceled 4 of the items for "not having in stock" despite it telling me it was in stock, and despite it letting me order. It's possible you'll have to wait 3-7 days to get your money back. There is no order cancelation option either from what I could tell.
I'm dropping from 4 stars to 1. I've had this app for years and loved it. Now it's changed so when you push the back button after looking at a product it takes you all the way back to the beginning instead of just back to the previous product you were viewing. When you get to the end of items that you're scrolling through it automatically jumps back to the beginning you can't just go back and forth and you can't click on the last product. It's so annoying, I can't shop here now SO FRUSTRATING!!
It's simple but where is the "save to list" option? Yes you can add things to your cart, but most online shops you're able to save items in a list for future purchases. This just deletes anything in your cart if you leave stuff in it. I had a bunch of gifts saved in a cart so I could come back and buy them after payday but they disappeared and I couldn't remember what I had added. Needs a save to list feature!
I love the prices it's so cheap that I can't decide what I want more, I haven't received my purchases yet to determine the quality and accuracy and speed of delivery so with that being said whenever I recieve my item I will rate the entire experience more accurate. The ease of ordering and product details was great however I would love if it were more pics of the product, and like someone else mentioned a wishlist or save for later option would be fantastic.
Hollar is like Wish's version of an online Big Lots. There's a ton of great deals, but there's also some not so great deals - overpriced stuff that's poor quality or that you can find in a dollar store for $1. If you're a savvy shopper, though, you will LOVE this site! I just wish they would bring back the program that let you pay a monthly flat rate for shipping on orders $15 or over. The app gives you more coupon codes than the website does, so it's worth having.

This app SUCKS!! I tried to place an order just today, and when I checked to see if my shipping address was correct, I couldn't access my account. Then about an hour later, I got an email saying that my order was cancelled because what I ordered was out of stock! PLEASE update the app when something is sold out, not after the fact! I've had this happen before, and I thought it would be corrected, since I haven't ordered from the app in quite a while. But I guess not. Please make this app better!
The last few months the location/store feature on the app AND their website does not work correctly. It's only pulling up 2-3 stores that are 1-3 hours from where we live. I've uninstalled, reinstalled. I've cleared all cache and all storage. NOTHING is fixing the issue. We have many locations in the metro area of where I live & not a single one will pull up when trying to find a store to shop from. You can find these stores on the websites store finder, but you cannot select as your home store.
Would have loved to buy a birthday gift and pick it up in store. However, even though I could find my store, I couldn't find it to pick up items in. Waste of time. Would rather spend more money in an app that actually works, really. And did end up doing so. Thanks, Five Below.

a great app, although it does have it's faults. it's a bit hard to navigate around, there's no reviews for the items you buy and there's also no wishlist to save the items. it can be a bit laggy from time to time and awkward using. and i have a hard time entering my card info. however, aside from that, it's a good app. shipping is always very quick for me, and I haven't had any issues. UPDATE : A recent update made me no longer able to even add items to my cart... please fix this!
This app SUCKS!! I tried to place an order just today, and when I checked to see if my shipping address was correct, I couldn't access my account. Then about an hour later, I got an email saying that my order was cancelled because what I ordered was out of stock! PLEASE update the app when something is sold out, not after the fact! I've had this happen before, and I thought it would be corrected, since I haven't ordered from the app in quite a while. But I guess not. Please make this app better!
The last few months the location/store feature on the app AND their website does not work correctly. It's only pulling up 2-3 stores that are 1-3 hours from where we live. I've uninstalled, reinstalled. I've cleared all cache and all storage. NOTHING is fixing the issue. We have many locations in the metro area of where I live & not a single one will pull up when trying to find a store to shop from. You can find these stores on the websites store finder, but you cannot select as your home store.
Would have loved to buy a birthday gift and pick it up in store. However, even though I could find my store, I couldn't find it to pick up items in. Waste of time. Would rather spend more money in an app that actually works, really. And did end up doing so. Thanks, Five Below.

I love this store! I am so glad they have a app. But... It takes like 3-5 minutes to load up a page, and you have to re-login every time you open the app. My LOGIN'S don't work anymore. And yes, you need multiple logins. It's hard to keep track of all the stuff in my cart because of it. I also have to reset my password every time. Sometimes when I login it shows cart, then glitches. If they can make it faster, fix the logins, and the bugs, THEN I will give it five stars.
I love the prices it's so cheap that I can't decide what I want more, I haven't received my purchases yet to determine the quality and accuracy and speed of delivery so with that being said whenever I recieve my item I will rate the entire experience more accurate. The ease of ordering and product details was great however I would love if it were more pics of the product, and like someone else mentioned a wishlist or save for later option would be fantastic.
Literally every item you select is removed from your cat because of "insufficient stock." I get items being out of stock, but the site nor the app tells you that. Seems like every item is in fact, out of stock. I've also had items ordered, had them held at my local store, told they couldn't hold it "due to insufficient stock", went to the store same day to find 5+ of that item on the shelf.
I ordered from five below, money was taken from my account, then they tell me it's cancelled and money was put back into my account but I never saw any money returned to me in my bank account. Then they ask me how well they handled the situation and I said 1 star and how money wasn't returned to me and no one has reached out for months. It's been almost if not two weeks already. Also for the items in your cart, you can't click on the items, which is dumb.
4/24 update: "easier to use" my foot. No longer can you sign in and view your shopping cart from device to device. No longer can you have your information saved because they made "checking out easier and faster"? And we can now(?) Pay with PayPal... ya mean the way I've been paying the last year or more? Rating down to 1 star. 10/23 Works well 60% of the time. [...] I appreciate that I can get my items delivered for a fair price.
Keeps having errors when ordering. They get my money, but I don't get a confirmation number, and then I get an error message. I have to call the 1-800# and talk with them forever just to get told," Well, if you dont pick up the items, it will cancel." I didn't even get a confirmation #. And the check out kept changing the amount I ordered. They have items on there that are out of stock or no longer available. And why do I have to pay so much to get it shipped. If I spend a lot, why charge?
a great app, although it does have it's faults. it's a bit hard to navigate around, there's no reviews for the items you buy and there's also no wishlist to save the items. it can be a bit laggy from time to time and awkward using. and i have a hard time entering my card info. however, aside from that, it's a good app. shipping is always very quick for me, and I haven't had any issues. UPDATE : A recent update made me no longer able to even add items to my cart... please fix this!
This app SUCKS!! I tried to place an order just today, and when I checked to see if my shipping address was correct, I couldn't access my account. Then about an hour later, I got an email saying that my order was cancelled because what I ordered was out of stock! PLEASE update the app when something is sold out, not after the fact! I've had this happen before, and I thought it would be corrected, since I haven't ordered from the app in quite a while. But I guess not. Please make this app better!
The last few months the location/store feature on the app AND their website does not work correctly. It's only pulling up 2-3 stores that are 1-3 hours from where we live. I've uninstalled, reinstalled. I've cleared all cache and all storage. NOTHING is fixing the issue. We have many locations in the metro area of where I live & not a single one will pull up when trying to find a store to shop from. You can find these stores on the websites store finder, but you cannot select as your home store.
Would have loved to buy a birthday gift and pick it up in store. However, even though I could find my store, I couldn't find it to pick up items in. Waste of time. Would rather spend more money in an app that actually works, really. And did end up doing so. Thanks, Five Below.
I'm dropping from 4 stars to 1. I've had this app for years and loved it. Now it's changed so when you push the back button after looking at a product it takes you all the way back to the beginning instead of just back to the previous product you were viewing. When you get to the end of items that you're scrolling through it automatically jumps back to the beginning you can't just go back and forth and you can't click on the last product. It's so annoying, I can't shop here now SO FRUSTRATING!!

I love 5 below the store &the app, where I can find what they sold out of in stores, etc. But what I didnt like was the fact that I was still expecting a $5 shipping fee when I ordered 1 thing from the 'five beyond' section, but the shipping price was also raised. How is it that you can buy multiple $5 items and still only get charged a $5 shipping fee, but when you purchase 1 item over $5, it raises your shipping cost?

My first experience ordering from Hollar went very badly. The order was weeks late arriving and contained less than half of what it was supposed to. HOWEVER... from my first contact with their customer service when the order was late... I was responded to quickly, personally, and with apologies. I was kept informed throughout of what had happened and why. I was rapidly refunded for any items not delivered. I was given a store credit and free shipping on my next order if I decided to try again..

I love five below and I've used this app many times to order items for pickup or to be delivered to my door. But the BIG thing it's missing is a wishlist or even a "save for later" button. I forget about items I wanted to get all of the time. I'll add things to my cart for a future purchase and then 3 days later my cart will be empty. Please add something so I can bookmark the items I want eventually, but can't get right now!

They tell you that there are items in stock at your selected store when that's not the truth. I made a 5 item order for pickup, and they canceled 4 of the items for "not having in stock" despite it telling me it was in stock, and despite it letting me order. It's possible you'll have to wait 3-7 days to get your money back. There is no order cancelation option either from what I could tell.

It's simple but where is the "save to list" option? Yes you can add things to your cart, but most online shops you're able to save items in a list for future purchases. This just deletes anything in your cart if you leave stuff in it. I had a bunch of gifts saved in a cart so I could come back and buy them after payday but they disappeared and I couldn't remember what I had added. Needs a save to list feature!

Hollar is like Wish's version of an online Big Lots. There's a ton of great deals, but there's also some not so great deals - overpriced stuff that's poor quality or that you can find in a dollar store for $1. If you're a savvy shopper, though, you will LOVE this site! I just wish they would bring back the program that let you pay a monthly flat rate for shipping on orders $15 or over. The app gives you more coupon codes than the website does, so it's worth having.
