Since the update where balances are not supposed to shoe in messages(which it still does), in-app notificstions seem to have a problem coming through(not showing at all). Also please add a 'select all' option at Messagesfor deletion. App is VERY slow to delete. Sometimes it doesnt even delete the message, just marks it as read. Or an option to turn off messages in general. We can check by clicking on the account or getting a statement. Some of us dont want messages for every transaction...

This is a really good app I'll give it that but one of my concerns is that sometimes when I need to access the app it tells me that the app can not download an app update correctly and that I should uninstall and reinstall the app now whenever I get into the app it's almost everytime when I tell myself there's a 50% chance to expect this most times it's likely.

I hate it when the app give issues when you need it the most the app just started saying ni typed I. the incorrect password many time meanwhile I know my password and after waiting for an hour I receive a error message saying the app is not verified... I am very disappointed now I have been standing at the ATM in Sandton where there is no available open branch due to maintenance

I don't how you can fix this or come with solution on it. this thing of debit orders that they take our money....why bank don't want to confirm with us first over call/sms nor email...to make sure about debited..hence you want us to visit branch even inside app we can't cancel...this brokers are so intelligent on us by knowing bank doesn't communicate with us.

The app is solid, but you guys have a major bug. Every time I open the cards tab it crashes. I can't update limits anymore. This is an extreme inconvenience. Also, what happened to the EasyEquities integration? It was awesome, but now it redirects me to the app.

Works 100% but 50% of the time. All the banking except for card payments rely on the app to work, so when the app is down you are screwed. even if you have online banking you need the app to log in...

I am extremely unhappy with the Capitec banking app because the East London muncipality is registered on their beneficiary list with the end 4 numbers of the BCM acc no. but when I enter the full account number it keeps on saying "invalid length" in red. I now can not pay my BCM account through the app. It is extremely inconvenient because I do not have transport to get around.

I have kids who I have opened accounts for, but I don't want them to have cellphones at such young ages. now with capitec, there is only one app account per one phone. really frustrating. I am going to ha e to close off their accounts and go to FNB as I know that FNB allow multiple accounts on one app.

Your App keeps closing on me when I'm in the middle of being logged in and doing transactions. I then have to try logging in a few more times to get done what I need. I thought its a temporary problem but its going on more than 2 months now.

This app really went downhill after they upgraded to the new system. I have to take a picture every time I want to use a shortcut. My electrical meter number deleted itself after the app couldn't verify my meter (2nd time this issue occurred in as many weeks). This app is absolutely terrible now. Countless issues after countless issues. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

The new feature that requires you to take a selfie every time you are making a once off payment is really annoying (it looks like this happens when you make payments from a certain minimum amount). Imagine if you have to make multiple once off payments? This feature is just unnecessary and complicates the payment process. If you can implement a "working" biometric authentication and then enforce the same auth - the experience would be much better.

Bad Experience. While I appreciate the security the selfie option offers, I find that this option requires good lighting and for one to be in a place where the app can always recognize your face, which is not always possible. I spend 45 minutes to an hour trying to transact but was unable to due tobte fact that it couldn't recognize face due to bad lighting. Can maybe be given an option to either activate or not as this is an inconvenience.

they last few months the system is down to much. keep the app simple like it was. Stop adding all this unnecessary new stuff. you're going to lose a lot of customers trying to be more and more fancy. getting another app issue this konth. and I'm gone. I'll rather go fnb , who almostnever have systems that are down

App worked fine until resent updates. Keeps crashing, even while I'm making transactions, which is very concerning. It also crashes whenever I try to add beneficiaries. I don't think that people would want to put their trust in a banking app that just crashes whenever it wishes too, especially if the app is dysfunctional for days when app developers claim to be 'fixing' issues and afterwards, new issues arise. Don't recommend.

I'm again having a situation where when I'm making a payment on the app it pays it 2 or 3 times over. Last time I had to go into the bank and get the receiver off my funds to give my money back. It happened again last night when I paid the school fees it went off twice. Contact me Capitec because this is a big problem if multiple payments are made when the intention was for a single payment.

I can certainly recommend this one anyone looking for a quick safe and efficient way to manage purchases and payments. I make online purchases and everything is handled with ease. I trust Capitec and will recommend it to anyone who wants a good safe and reliable way to handle purchases and payments. Definitely deserves a lot more than five stars. ♥️♥️♥️

I have a business account and the app is great. But, for over a week I have tried to open a personal account via the app and the app fails at the employment stage, stating they are aware of the error. How long does it take to fix this? I was hoping the latest update would resolve but it didn't.

I'll give it 4 out of 5 because of the fact that I'm forced to draw money instead of being able to make instant payment when I'm buying something from someone (private) I get it's supposed to protect people but at least allow a setting to switch off this 'feature' when you know how things work. Except for that, I'd provide a 5/5 for this app. It works perfectly fine, quite easy to navigate and idk man, it's perfect compared to other apps I've tried...

Nothing wrong with the App just the Bank itself that doesn't listen to their customer if they told them that Pay dates are only on a specific date and then they still follow their way of doing things useless because it costs you money if there is no money in the bank yet for there debit orders to go off. It is waiting time to go into a branch as they just don't care.

When I open the app, right when I'm about to type the 5 digits pin the app closes the keybord and I have to reopen the keybord to type. Sometimes this happens after inserting the first digit of the Pin. This is very irritating and it's been a long time. I was hoping that you are going to fix it long time ago since you have a lot of updates each and every week. Please guys

I can certainly recommend this one anyone looking for a quick safe and efficient way to manage purchases and payments. I make online purchases and everything is handled with ease. I trust Capitec and will recommend it to anyone who wants a good safe and reliable way to handle purchases and payments. Definitely deserves a lot more than five stars. ♥️♥️♥️

This is a really good app I'll give it that but one of my concerns is that sometimes when I need to access the app it tells me that the app can not download an app update correctly and that I should uninstall and reinstall the app now whenever I get into the app it's almost everytime when I tell myself there's a 50% chance to expect this most times it's likely.

When I open the app, right when I'm about to type the 5 digits pin the app closes the keybord and I have to reopen the keybord to type. Sometimes this happens after inserting the first digit of the Pin. This is very irritating and it's been a long time. I was hoping that you are going to fix it long time ago since you have a lot of updates each and every week. Please guys

Stop adding all this unnecessary new stuff. you're going to lose a lot of customers trying to be more and more fancy. getting another app issue this konth. and I'm gone. I'll rather go fnb , who almostnever have systems that are down

I don't think that people would want to put their trust in a banking app that just crashes whenever it wishes too, especially if the app is dysfunctional for days when app developers claim to be 'fixing' issues and afterwards, new issues arise. The app is solid, but you guys have a major bug. Every time I open the cards tab it crashes. I can't update limits anymore. This is an extreme inconvenience. Also, what happened to the EasyEquities integration? It was awesome, but now it redirects me to the app.

Since the update where balances are not supposed to shoe in messages(which it still does), in-app notificstions seem to have a problem coming through(not showing at all). Also please add a 'select all' option at Messagesfor deletion. App is VERY slow to delete. Sometimes it doesnt even delete the message, just marks it as read. Or an option to turn off messages in general. We can check by clicking on the account or getting a statement. Some of us dont want messages for every transaction...

I'll give it 4 out of 5 because of the fact that I'm forced to draw money instead of being able to make instant payment when I'm buying something from someone (private) I get it's supposed to protect people but at least allow a setting to switch off this 'feature' when you know how things work. Except for that, I'd provide a 5/5 for this app. It works perfectly fine, quite easy to navigate and idk man, it's perfect compared to other apps I've tried...

I don't how you can fix this or come with solution on it. this thing of debit orders that they take our money....why bank don't want to confirm with us first over call/sms nor email...to make sure about debited..hence you want us to visit branch even inside app we can't cancel...this brokers are so intelligent on us by knowing bank doesn't communicate with us.

Bad Experience. While I appreciate the security the selfie option offers, I find that this option requires good lighting and for one to be in a place where the app can always recognize your face, which is not always possible. I spend 45 minutes to an hour trying to transact but was unable to due tobte fact that it couldn't recognize face due to bad lighting. Can maybe be given an option to either activate or not as this is an inconvenience.

I have a business account and the app is great. But, for over a week I have tried to open a personal account via the app and the app fails at the employment stage, stating they are aware of the error. How long does it take to fix this? I was hoping the latest update would resolve but it didn't.

When I open the app, right when I'm about to type the 5 digits pin the app closes the keybord and I have to reopen the keybord to type. Sometimes this happens after inserting the first digit of the Pin. This is very irritating and it's been a long time. I was hoping that you are going to fix it long time ago since you have a lot of updates each and every week. Please guys

I hate it when the app give issues when you need it the most the app just started saying ni typed I. the incorrect password many time meanwhile I know my password and after waiting for an hour I receive a error message saying the app is not verified... I am very disappointed now I have been standing at the ATM in Sandton where there is no available open branch due to maintenance

Works 100% but 50% of the time. All the banking except for card payments rely on the app to work, so when the app is down you are screwed. even if you have online banking you need the app to log in...

I am extremely unhappy with the Capitec banking app because the East London muncipality is registered on their beneficiary list with the end 4 numbers of the BCM acc no. but when I enter the full account number it keeps on saying "invalid length" in red. I now can not pay my BCM account through the app. It is extremely inconvenient because I do not have transport to get around.

I have kids who I have opened accounts for, but I don't want them to have cellphones at such young ages. now with capitec, there is only one app account per one phone. really frustrating. I am going to ha e to close off their accounts and go to FNB as I know that FNB allow multiple accounts on one app.

Your App keeps closing on me when I'm in the middle of being logged in and doing transactions. I then have to try logging in a few more times to get done what I need. I thought its a temporary problem but its going on more than 2 months now.

This app really went downhill after they upgraded to the new system. I have to take a picture every time I want to use a shortcut. My electrical meter number deleted itself after the app couldn't verify my meter (2nd time this issue occurred in as many weeks). This app is absolutely terrible now. Countless issues after countless issues. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Stop adding all this unnecessary new stuff. you're going to lose a lot of customers trying to be more and more fancy. getting another app issue this konth. and I'm gone. I'll rather go fnb , who almostnever have systems that are down

App worked fine until resent updates. Keeps crashing, even while I'm making transactions, which is very concerning. It also crashes whenever I try to add beneficiaries. I don't think that people would want to put their trust in a banking app that just crashes whenever it wishes too, especially if the app is dysfunctional for days when app developers claim to be 'fixing' issues and afterwards, new issues arise. Don't recommend.

I'm again having a situation where when I'm making a payment on the app it pays it 2 or 3 times over. Last time I had to go into the bank and get the receiver off my funds to give my money back. It happened again last night when I paid the school fees it went off twice. Contact me Capitec because this is a big problem if multiple payments are made when the intention was for a single payment.

Nothing wrong with the App just the Bank itself that doesn't listen to their customer if they told them that Pay dates are only on a specific date and then they still follow their way of doing things useless because it costs you money if there is no money in the bank yet for there debit orders to go off. It is waiting time to go into a branch as they just don't care.

The new feature that requires you to take a selfie every time you are making a once off payment is really annoying (it looks like this happens when you make payments from a certain minimum amount). Imagine if you have to make multiple once off payments? This feature is just unnecessary and complicates the payment process. If you can implement a "working" biometric authentication and then enforce the same auth - the experience would be much better.

This is a really good app I'll give it that but one of my concerns is that sometimes when I need to access the app it tells me that the app can not download an app update correctly and that I should uninstall and reinstall the app now whenever I get into the app it's almost everytime when I tell myself there's a 50% chance to expect this most times it's likely.
