How to use Apple News

Assuming you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running iOS 9 or later:

Download and install the Apple News app from the App Store.
Open the app and sign in with your Apple ID.
If you don't have an Apple ID, tap Create New Apple ID and follow the instructions.
Choose the countries or regions where you want to see stories. To add a country or region, tap , then select it from the list. Or to remove a country or region, tap , then tap Delete. You can also rearrange the order of your countries or regions by tapping Edit, then dragging a country or region up or down in the list.
Tap Done when you finish making changes.

The Home screen is where you'll find stories handpicked by our editors across a variety of topics, including politics, sports, business, technology, and entertainment. Just scroll down to read them all.

You can also explore specific topics by tapping one of the icons at the top of the screen: Top Stories, World News, U.S., Business, Technology & Science Sports , Arts & Culture , Health & Fitness Food & Drink , Fashion & Style , Travel . Some topics might not be available in all countries or regions.
