I had a phenomenal experience with this game it has been one of the best mobile games I had played and had great story and great battles tho I do wish the battles were harder and amazing chang for the last battle it was so cool. amazing game finished in around 2 hours I would say 😁
Thank you Evan Kice. I haven't played a game with so much soul, personality, and P̸̖̪̄̈́e̷̳̪̎ṟ̷̌ͅṣ̶͖̊͠p̸̹͠e̷̱̐́c̴̰̭̆t̴͙̝̄ị̷̟͛v̶̓̈́ͅȩ̵̜́ in quite a long time.
Would be nice to have an option for a fixed joystick.
I picked up this lovely game in a recent sale, but having now played it, I can safely say it's well worth it at full price. This game is deceptively huge! There is so much to explore, quirky characters to meet, battles to be fought, secrets to discover – it just has so much to give! The pixel art aesthetic is cute, the music is wonderful, it's filled with so much humour and heart. Obviously a labour of love for its talented solo developer and an absolute must buy for adventure fans.
This game is a hidden gem. It is huge, deep and immersive. It is also hilarious and cute, and at times dark, and borderline traumatizing. It definitely gets in your head with its storyline, lore and atmosphere. The controls are slick, perfect for one-handed play. The combat is smooth and mechanics are still growing even after several hours of play. I am completely immersed in this game. They don't make em like this anymore. Especially not for mobile. I can't recommend it enough.
Wanted a simple, single finger game to play to keep me busy during down time in work. I did not expect to love this game as much as I do. The story, world design, and gameplay are incredibly well crafted and the fact that this is a premium game with no in app purchases is the cherry on top. I can't wait to see what other games come from this dev. If I had one issue, I do wish there was an option to keep the home button available at the bottom of the screen.
The cutest and most quality game I've ever played that's made bespoke for phones rather than being a port. I'm in love~
I LOVE THIS GAME!! it's so unique and interesting. I had the scare of my LIFE (threw my phone across the room from the jumpscares) when it started out so cozy but then it turned into a horrer game in the dark forest omg 10 stars
This game is a breath of fresh air. It's fun, humorous and doesn't hold your hand through everything. I'm early in and can't wait to explore more of this world. It feels like a game made with mobile gaming in mind not just something ported in that kinda works on a mobile device.
I've only spent an hour playing and I feel like I'm just scratching the surface. No handholding, 0 open world, skill-based combat. This is a game that was made with pure love and dedication. Massive GGs.
I bought this on a whim after hearing some chatter on Instagram about the game. I have been playing pretty much non stop since then - I am absolutely blown away!! I can't remember the last time a game got its claws into me like Afterplace has. It is at once nostalgic and fresh, cozy and creepy, simple and elegant. The controls are smooth and easy to manage, the graphics are charming, and the story is fantastic. More people need to play this game!
so far it's a just an average game to me nothing special and the dialogue is pretty corny maybe young kids would like this kind of game oh and the touch screen controls are not great maybe better with a controller I'm sure but I don't think this is worth eight dollars maybe two or three but it's not the worst game but could be better
I've been playing this game for a few days now, and it's really well made. Love the graphics and the controls, and I'm enjoying the story as well. One of my favourite things about the game is that it doesn't hold your hand story wise. It's really up to you to explore and remember what you're doing. I definitely recommend this game.
By far the best mobile game I've ever played. The story made me cry, the characters absolutely jump out of the screen personality wise, the music is so good I went and bought it on band camp, the gameplay is perfect for mobile. If I could I'd erase my memory of the game so I could discover it again.
Artistic Masterpiece. The storyline from this game is engaging and easy to absorb. Usually that means the gameplay is lacking but they kept it simple and fun. If you don't buy the game after reading my comment, then what are you even reading comments for? Thank you Mr. Kice. You're game made my life a little better.
Super cute game, lots of fun little Easter eggs, easy enough for anyone to pick up the game, but difficult enough at times to make me want to rage quit, really well balanced in my opinion. The story is well written, and it does a good job of making you work to figure out what's going on, not just giving you the answers. It feels like a passion project, and I can't recommend it enough!
Evan... Oh, Evan... how??? How did you make such a piece of art!? This game is genuinely one of the greatest pieces of software you can install on your mobile device - scratch that, just about any device. If you like this kind of game AT ALL, can I say you should buy it enough? -No, no, I can not. But everything from the story, the fun secrets, and the combat was decadent!! (And usually mobile combat feels mid!) Im so excited to see what other games you make, because this one was a BLAST!! 10/10
Pretty good game. Very unique story and really channels the exploration I games. The characters are charming and it's decently funny. The inclusion of a invinciblity mode was great when I decided I just wanted to finish the story. Overall very heartwarming and solid game definitely worth the price. This game needs more popularity. I'd recommend going into this game as blind as possible.
A 0 gem of a game. Smooth controls, charming pixel art and wonderfully strange enemies and environments, and a truly non linear open world filled with secret paths. It reminds me of playing NES Zelda games as a kid, where you could just go anywhere at any time, and you slowly learn how to navigate the world. A beautiful game well worth the price, and a solo indie dev nonetheless. (One bug to report: defeated the last boss, was endlessly floating and had to restart the app, but that fixed it!)
I've played this game 50 times in a row. The characters. The pacing - the coding. It's amazing you've done a wonderful job. My biggest problem is the length of it. Becoming somewhat experienced I can now just straight rush to the end. You've done a great job teaching the person how to play with out holding their hand. I also wish there was a new game plus instead of having to Uninstall and install the game to play again. Please make more. You also need better advertising.

I had a phenomenal experience with this game it has been one of the best mobile games I had played and had great story and great battles tho I do wish the battles were harder and amazing chang for the last battle it was so cool. amazing game finished in around 2 hours I would say 😁
